  1. Coupons rock...Chris

I want a love note….that he still loves me after all these years.

  2. Brenda

Three Scoops of Love and The Pretty Peacock are two of my favorite shops on Etsy.com

  3. cyndi smith

create a coupon book for her that she can redeem on gifts, such as a 1-hour massage, a dinner date to her favorite restaurant, or whatever else she enjoys. my husband and i have done this several times 🙂

  4. doubledj

I would love if my husband gave me a book of “honey do” things he was willing to do around the house or yard. So, maybe a coupon for one thing you are willing to do each month for the coming year!

    • Monique

      That’s brilliant!

    • Jessica

That is such a great idea about the honey-do coupons once a month. My hubby & I have done coupon vouchers for eachother for a 1 hr massage, dinner night out, hubby cooks dinner, etc. I have always loved these & it can be very creative too!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Simply a finished project around the house. I’ve wanted new hardware put on the kitchen cabinets for over a year, it would be great if my hubby bought them and put them on for me. I also love it when my hubby does a full detail on my car, changes the oil, shampoo’s the carpets, cleans/waxes… I love when he makes my car just as important as his truck.

      • Chrissy

My favorite presents have been projects that my husband has done around our house for me. He made me a craft room in our (at that time) extra bedroom and put up crown molding, a chair rail, painted and made me a craft table. It was gorgeous. Several years later it became my son’s bedroom so he made me a new craft room in the basement. I have a really neat digital picture frame/trimmed out idea that I hope he makes for me this year!

      • Michelle L.

        Jackie,

        One year? That’s all?
I’ve been waiting 11 YEARS for trim around two bedroom windows!
I’ve accepted the fact that they’re never going to get done, unless we put the house up for sale.
Please appreciate that you’ve only been waiting for one year and that there is always someone worse off than you. :^)

  5. Lisa Waddle

My husband has taken tons of video over the years and he edited a dvd of all of those special moments, trips, wedding, kids, etc. it was fabulous and the greatest gift I have ever received.

    • Christa

      that’s an AWESOME gift!!!!

  6. Alli H

I love photobooks! My idea is to make a wife one of the children and family memories. 🙂 The thought and time into the book would be cherished forever

    • Tara W

Picaboo Groupon! $35 for the most awesome Pic book ever:)

  7. tina

    Two ideas…
one-when we were first married we had NO money (not that we’re rolling in it now or anything), and we agreed to ‘make’ each others gifts. I am overly crafty, and my husband isn’t in any way shape or form. Instead of making me something, he wrote me an amazing letter. He used nice stationary, and just wrote about the years events, and how wonderful (and/or challenging) it had been. I treasure that letter, and asked him to make it a yearly tradition. Something heartfelt, meaningful, and FREE! Will keep them for forever, and someday show to my boys.
two-for a ‘big’ gift, I don’t know where you are in the country, but I’m on the east coast, and we have MegaBus over here (www.megabus.com). They offer CHEAP CHEAP CHEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAP (sometimes free!) bus fares to major cities (for us, it’s NYC). If you live close enough to one of their cities, you can plan a whole day trip to whatever city you choose, and go for dirt cheap! I’m talking cheap like, if you are flexible with dates, and book far enough ahead, you can get to and from for $2 TOTAL! Definitely something to look into. I don’t know if you travel or not for work or otherwise, but if you have hotel reward points saved up, you can even stay overnight for free or cheap. WHAT you do at whatever city doesn’t matter-there are plenty of free activities, it’s the actual get-away that’s special!

The best birthday I ever had was when my husband said he would be my “slave for the day”. He cleaned & vacuumed my car, made me coffee, took me out to lunch just the two of us, took care of the kids & gave me time to put up my feet & read a good book. It was AMAZING!!! He told the kids to not bother mom, its my day off. It was so wonderful. That is the best gift you can give your wife is to honor her as a woman & pamper her with the small stuff.

    • Jenny

      I love this idea!

  9. liz

A few years ago things were pretty tight..my husband got a little dish garden plant and stuck four gift cards to different places in it..it wasn’t a lot but it meant a lot as it was a different idea that I know took some serious thinking for him..the gift cards were nice to have after christmas and the disg plant lasted through the whole year (luckily as most don’t last that long with me)

    • californiaerickson

I love this idea! Thanks for sharing!

  10. Michelle Haile

one year, my hubby got me a bunch of gift cards to a bunch of different stores. it was so fun to have a few bucks at starbucks, etc. it doesn’t have to be much… or combine that with a coupon book… but it felt like so much more opening it! and, it was nice to splurge on the things i might not have otherwise (say $10 at target for something i wouldn’t want to pay for!!) target, tjmaxx, marshalls, borders, starbucks, panera bread, chipotle, bath and body works, etc… a few little gift cards don’t add up to much, but seem like so much fun! or, maybe you could get a good deal/coupon for a mani/pedi, and a starbucks gc… then she could go pamper herself! a good book, etc…

  11. Lacie

Last year was my fiance and my first Christmas together and while we got each other a lot of gifts my favorite part was when we agreed to get each other a joke gift, something that we would never ever want, just to see what each other would come up with. 🙂 His joke gift to me was a rock with googly eyes and a sad face on it and it’s probably my favorite gift I’ve ever gotten! It’s adorable, and the fact that he came up with it makes me smile every day when I see it on my way out the door. We even take it with us on trips and take pictures of “Sad Rock” everywhere we go.
I would agree with the majority of the people on here and say something handmade is a winner for sure. Either a coupon book or a sweet love letter, or a day together, or something like that. Super sweet and guaranteed to make her happy. 🙂

    • Leslie Hardy

Hahahaha! That is soooooo adorable and fun! My husband and I just sat here, laughing at how clever that is. : )

  12. Winnie Williams

My favorite birthday gift from my husband was the gift of going garden shopping with me for a day. I love browsing garden shops, to see all the new plants, and hate to go alone. My husband hates to join me without a purpose. But for this day, his purpose was just to be with me, and he was okay with that, and I loved it.

My favorite Christmas gift, I get every year. My husband is rather musical, and he uses software built into our mac (Garageband) to record a song that is meaningful to us. He usually heads to church for an evening to use electric piano there so he can record various instruments. He also helps our daughters to record something. And together he and I record something for our daughters, and our daughters and I record something for him. Then the day after Christmas we put all our songs together and make a CD for family and close friends. Over the years we have quite a collection of music, and a fun record of how our daughters skills have grown. When I workout, I workout exclusively to my husband’s recordings.

    I love everyone else’s ideas!

  13. Meghan

I wrote my husband 101 reasons why I love you. I printed it in script font on white paper, rolled it up like a scroll and tied it with a red satin bow. He loved it so much he wanted to frame it for our home but I wouldn’t let him because I thought it was too personal for anyone to see. He still talks about it being the best gift he’s ever received. If you really pour your heart out, any gift is perfect!

  14. Lori

I think that a date with my husband would be the best gift. He could “exchange” a talent for babysitting…you know like help rakes leaves with a friend, clear out gutters, or help someone move for instance, to then get free babysitting for a couple hours.

Part of the gift could be a gift certificate to a cheesy little hotdog stand that we love to eat at ($5 for both of us to eat) in our town and then another small gift certificate to Starbucks. We could just walk up and down Main Street and hold hands and look in all of the small stores that are not kid friendly. In fact…I think that would be a great gift for a wife to give to a husband too!

  15. Kelli

Love language book!! That is a huge investment in your marriage and will reap rewards for many years. But the key is to go through the book together, it will change your life

  16. Stacy

    A couple suggestions:
    1. I am not a scrapbooking Momma. We take pictures but I never print them out. My hubby make me a collage of the kids. It was just a 5×7, but I loved it!
    2. I would give an arm & leg for some time by myself. I would love a coupon for a child free day, morning or even for a few hrs! The best gift my in-laws ever gave me was coupons for 1 sleepover a month and 1 day of babysitting a month for a year. Guilt free babysitting!
    3. Depending on your budget – you can find some 1/2 price spa days on Groupon. What lady wouldn’t like a massage?! I’m pretty frugal but an hour massage for $40 is a great deal to me.
One last though your wife will love anything that comes from your heart! Something personal that shows her how much you love and cherish her. 🙂

  17. Joan Southwick(Jafra Lady!)

the best gift is the one that shows your wife you KNOW who she is…

does she dance? Is she a Twilight fan? Is she a reader? Does she love to garden? Does she sew?

If she is a dancer,, a little charm with dance shoes, or a punch card for 5 dance classes,,, twilight fan,, a shirt that says I love vampires (on sale at TArget right now for $1.50!, $10.00 gift card to barnes & noble or Borders,, telling her you love that she enjoys reading, or even a used book,,,, but something about a subject or type SHE woudl like…. for a gardener,, new pair of gardening gloves.. a funky pin cushion for a seamstress…
it’s NOT the price that counts… it’s the fact that you KNOW US ,, and hopefully you know us better than anyone…….

we want to have someone tell us that WE are special,, that YOU KNOW WHY we are special… and that you care that we are unique!!!!

    • Stephanie

That is so right on! Just the fact that they know us and our hobbies/interests. I think one of my least favorite gifts came from my ex…an NFL team jacket and matching toboggan. Uh…don’t get me wrong…I enjoy cheering for my team, but I’m not the type that would wear something like that…

  18. Jenine

I snagged a pair of Calvin Klein sunglasses for $25 originally marked $250 from Modnique! That is my Christmas gift! I am super excited about it!

  19. Lori

Oh, wait, another one! I love to have smelly good lotion but most of the smells give my husband a headache. One year, he went to Bath and Body and smelled every single one and found three that didn’t seem to bother him. (Now granted, he came home with a horrible headache that day-as he recalls) But, to me, that small sacrifice was huge.

I use my lotion sparingly, mostly on special occasions with him (and then just little bits) but it is a very special thing to know that he picked them out! And, around Christmas there are great deals at that store.

  20. BRIANA

My husband and I have decided not to give each other gifts at the actual holiday, but after, once things aren’t sooo streched. We plan on having a date night (NO KIDS) where we can go shopping together for each others gifts though it wont be a surprise we’ll love the time shared b/c we haven’t shopped together (much less for ourselves) since our morgaged, prekid days. Maybe you could “do” something with her that the two of you did during your courtship. She will love and appreciate the semtimental gesture!

  21. Leslie

I bought this book, All About Us, for my husband for our anniversary one year, but it would be great for any holiday. Sitting down, going through the questions together and filling it out was so much fun and very memorable. I want to do it again on our 5 year anniversary so that we can compare our answers to the first book and see how they may have changed and how we’ve grown.

    • Michelle C.

That sounds like something that could be every 5 years, or the 25th, 50th and so on…also sounds like a good gift for a wedding and a note to expand on it through the years!

  22. Sam

For my birthday one year my husband got me an umbrella in a print I love and then tied $1 bills inside of it with ribbon. There was a note on the outside that read “open me”, so when I opened the umbrella it was like “raining” money. One of my favorite gifts that I though was unique. I too love when he will give me some time for myself. I agree with others on coupons for time for myself baby-free, even just to go to the movies or to a bookstore by myself.

    • Gail

I want an umbrella like that !

    • Christa

      kudos to your creative husband!!!

  23. Desiree

Random and off point…but is the dude in your photo missing his middle right finger? lol. I keep staring and I can’t figure it out. lol…ok, moving on…

I know what is free…a spotless home. I’ll take that as a gift!

    • Miranda M

that is interesting. Wouldn’t have noticed but I think you’re right, could just be bad editing.

    • Natalie

SOOOO funny! It seriously looks crazy! Lol. Love that you noticed that 🙂

  24. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

last Valentine’s I gave my husband and my 8 year old daughter each a “love” journal. I wrote a note inside explaining how it was to be used and then made the first entry to each of them. The idea is that on no time schedule, anytime you want, you write to your spouse in the book and leave it somewhere for them. On their seat in the car, on the pillow, in the refrigerator in the morning, wherever. Just tell them anything that you want. And then they have the journal and write back to you when they want and leave it for you. It has been the most awesome thing. He has written me when he really appreciated that i rearranged my schedule so he could play tennis, when he especially liked a meal I made, when he wanted to thank me for taking the kids to their activities, etc. I can go back and reread it and someday i will let my kids read it (well, most of it)!

Another cool gift a friend got and I plan to use the idea this year is a word collage. You use words from magazines or newspapers that relate to your spouse. Arrange them on a colored sheet of paper that you can decorate with other things like stickers that tell something about that person. Then frame the paper.

    • Christina R

The love journal is great idea! i am going to gove one to my 9 year old daughter just for us. Thank you! She will LOVE it!

  25. Darla

My husband ever so often when I come has a candlelite dinner, a roaring fire in our firepit outside, a chilled bottle of wine and one of my favorite dinners cooked. Does not cost alot and the part I really enjoy the most…..sitting by the fire talking with him just like when we used to date. Fire warms my toes and conversation with the best man on earth warms my heart. Does not have to cost a bunch of money to make us love what you give us.

  26. Allie C

THe best “free” gift I ever gave was a photostory. Just google that phrase and you should get at least a few free programs to create a one of a kind video from digital photos and video clips. You can change the transition from photo to photo to zoom in/out or other kinds of animations. You then use your favorite music from CD’s or mp3’s to be the background music. You can even burn it onto a DVD if you have a blank DVD disc and the right equipment in your computer (or use a friend’s). I did this for family who requested we didn’t spend any money for a gift and did pictures of their baby with some of their favorite music. Just play it over the computer or in your DVD player, tears are guaranteed and then you have it on a disc to play, a great gift for the whole family. Make copies for the kids too!

    • sherry

this is awesome!! Thank you for sharing.

  27. Jenny

That’s a good question! We’ve done not giving gifts to each other many times to save money. Other times, we set a small budget $20-$50 for gifts. I think the best gift is something that is heartfelt, whether it be a love note or something special to remember a certain moment in your relationship.

  28. Blair

This year I am making my husband a “Daily Jar.” You write 365 short love notes, memories, or quotes down and stick them in a jar. Each morning for 2011 he will pull out a slip with a memory or sweet note. I think it will be an awesome way to start each day.

    • celticmommie

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS! 🙂 Thank you! I’m definitely doing this for the hubby!

    • sherry

I love this too. I will do this for my husbands upcoming deployment. A little something to send him away with.

    • ROBIN

Love it Love it Love it! I’m doing it!

      • Missy Gerbrandt

I would say by the way the women are reacting to this idea that it would be a great idea to do for a woman.:)

  29. Gail

Another great present my husband created for me was a huge planter container. He filled with good soil and planted several herbs and gave me a herb book for growing and a cooking with herbs cookbook.

  30. Heather

For me, the thought is so much more than the cost or the gift!
    – Snapfish/Shutterfly/Picaboo/HotPrints- Create a free or inexpensive (less than $10 if you can get a code for a free book. Usually a promo or two going on where you just pay shipping). Relive a favorite trip, event, or memory with a photobook of special photos and add captions detailing what it meant to you. If calendars are on sale- create a photo calendar and don’t forget to add special dates- birthdays, anniversaries, trips, etc.
    – Love note in the stocking!
    – Stock up on free/cheap stocking stuffers at CVs, Rite Aid, Publix. Use your ECBs/rewards to buy perfume, candles, lotions and give a coupon for a massage and bubble bath
    – If you have kids- just give her a night off! Make dinner, keep the kids, and send her and maybe one of her friends out for the evening with a Groupon certificate you get for a steal!
    – Give a book she’s been wanting to read and giver her time to read it
    – Pick up some of her chores
-Give her time with you- what does she want? A family day? A day shopping with you while the kids are in school? Playing that game you can’t stand but she enjoys? Exercising together? Try somethign new with her that she has been wanting

  31. Kari

I would love coupons for time. Time for uninterrupted scrapbooking or card making, girlfriend time, quiet time with a book, or things like that. We have 4 kids, so this kind of a gift would be priceless.

  32. Jamie

A long time ago we decided not to get each other gifts for pretty much any holiday – Christmas, Valentine’s Day, whatever. We each do something small for our birthdays, like he always bakes me strawberry cupcakes cause I love strawberry cupcakes, and he always is so proud of how he decorates the cupcakes. This makes me so happy. But for Christmas, if there is any money left over we buy one present for the both of us. It’s fun thinking about what we should buy and even more fun spending time together shopping for whatever we decided to get.

  33. Rachel

    Give her time together.

I like the idea of weekly/monthly date nights (whatever you can manage). You can get discounted gift certificates/coupons to restaurants/shows at a number of sites online (restaurant.com, groupon.com, citydeals.com, moneymailer.com, entertainment.com, etc). Come up with lists of free/cheap other things you can do too. Help her find babysitters to watch the kids on those special date nights (it can be stressful to do, that’s half of the reason we don’t go out more often) Make one of the date nights a special over night trip. You don’t have to go far, but just getting away together will be fun.

When you have kids, jobs, etc, it can be hard to set time aside for just the two of you. Making the effort to do this will be a great gift to her.

I could write a lot more on this but hope that helps.

  34. Joelle

My favorite thing would be if my husband told me to get dressed up for a surprise, then took me and my kids out to get a portrait taken. We haven’t had a professional portrait in 14 years. Afterward we could go out to eat or see a show. Portrait and live stage show, two things my husband does not like, but if he did it for me, that would mean he really loves me.

    • Joelle

But usually my husband gives me an orchid. A phalanopsis. I have about 6 of them and they rebloom a couple of times a year in my south facing window. It is a gift that keeps on giving.

    • Yvonne

      Love, Love, Love this Idea!

  35. Suzette

ANYTHING I have given up because of my thrifty lifestyle or due to a strict budget. I would love a pedicure, a massage, to get my hair colored professionally, a manicure, a bottle of my favorite wine, any treat that doesn’t go on sale.

  36. Maria S.

Well, I’m sure most couples get along more often than not, if you don’t, then try everyday to get along better or do something on a regular basis you know the other would appreciate.
My husband and I haven’t gotten along very well for a long long long time, and to be honest, I just see holiday/special day gifts as fake and doing it just because it’s that day.
Plus, I always see him actually put thought into everyone elses gift, and for me it’s just the perfume that I like, and once in awhile something he likes, not what is my personality.
One Christmas he got me a small gun/pistol, I just about wanted to shoot him with it, I was so mad.
I’ve become my mom, she used to always say she didn’t want any presents, instead, for everyone to get along through the year, and the house to be kept clean.
Now I know how she felt.

    • happiness

      bitter much?

      • Maria S.

RUDE as HELL. WITCH! Try living my last 15 years!

      • Liz

We never know what people are walking around with. Some people, even those near to us, are dealing with quite a heavy load but never allow others to really see all that they have going on inside. Sometimes a hurtful comment is all someone needs to sink their ship. I think she was just saying that if you DO have a relationship that is not always sunshine and lollipops, that you could just focus on trying harder. That’s all I took it to be. 🙂

    • Joelle

I hear you. We all need to vent sometimes.

  37. Sandy

After reading all of these posts it sounds like a gift of time from your husband is the ideal gift, this season and every season.

  38. nannyrose

The most favorite Christmas gift my husband gave was about 25 years ago. He filled a pretty basket that matched my bathroom with all my favorite things ( vasaline intensive care bath salt, a back scrubber, chocolate, Red finger nail polish,a blow up bath pillow and a real corney framed poem that he wrote about how much he loved me. I have gotten diamonds and lots of expensive gifts over the years, but nothing can beat that very heartfelt gift of long ago. (I still have the poem on the kitchen window seal.)

  39. sherry

bath & body works lotion shower gel, slippers and robe. It can be like a mini spa at home, being a mom and never having enough time to break free long enough to do anything nice for myself. It is always refreshing to relax after kids are in bed. My hubby knows this and he knows it will always be an A for effort gift appreciated with lots of hugs and excitement!

  40. Jennifer P

My husband is an awesome gift giver who doesn’t spend a lot of money and is completely thoughtful! I am so lucky. He’s the best gift giver! One birthday he bought me a dress, a purse and matching shoes (all the right size) and took me to dinner. The reason he did that is b/c I hate to shop and try on clothes! Again, thoughtful. So if there is something your wife hates to do, do it for her with flare 🙂

A cheap version of this would be to go into her closet pick out an outfit she already has, give her time to get dressed up and finish cooking a candle light dinner for her!

Also, he’s given me my favorite perfume (happy) with my daughters picture on it. So everytime I sprayed it, I saw her picture and it made me simply happy 🙂

Our first Christmas, my husband showed up with a Christmas tree and all the trimmings, put up the tree for me and decorated it! He did it because my family was awful during christmas and I had so many bad memories growing up. He changed that year after year by his thoughtfulness!

You can make a questionaire for your wife to find out her own thoughts about certain things. Be creative and crafty! I bet she would have a great time answering the questions you want to know about her. Then you can take those questions and get creative with a gift!

  41. Lynne

I would absolutely LOVE it if my husband gifted me a clean car, inside and out spotless! Another wonderful gift would be a starbucks card, movie pass and a night of alone time just for me! It’s like a mini vacation and is so thoughtful! If she likes to cook/bake, you could make her a family recipe album with your entire family’s favorite recipes. Put them in page protector type pages so they can be wiped off easily and you could insert kids pictures and their sweet notes or memories in the pages.

  42. Dianne W.

Time! Time! Time! Time for me to do something I want either alone or with him (date night idea). I would love it if he surprised me with arrangements for babysitting so we could go out together. I also like the idea of him picking out from my closet what he wants me to wear on a date night.

I also would love it if he arranged for a cleaning service to come – even if just for one time. But for that, I’d want a bit of prep time so that I could declutter a few areas first so that they could actually do the cleaning part (not just work around the pile of outgrown kids clothes, etc.) I wouldn’t mind tackling these “maybe they’ll go away if I ignore them long enough” projects if I knew that someone else was going to do the cleaning after I had done the decluttering!!

  43. Cathy

there is a site: silverjewelryclub(dot)com that sells a limited number of pieces for $6.99 shipped. If she has a modern style, this is really easy. If not, you may have to wait a while to see something she’ll really like.

  44. Lisa

Take the kids out of the house for a few hours and GIVE ME SOME PEACE AND QUIET where I don’t have to wipe noses, change diapers, break up arguments, figure out who flushed what down the toilet, and I can sleep as much as I want. And if you REALLY love her, do it several times throughout the year for no special reason.

No kids? How about taking a day off work, making the house spotless and letting HER come home from work to a hot meal waiting on the table for once? Let it be a total surprise. She will love you forever!

  45. Rebekah

I’m a very practical person. So my Christmas list this year is short, but includes:

    A bird feeder and seed
An oil lamp (I like them, and would like to have something more than a flashlight when the power goes out)
    A couple of books

So far, that’s it!! If your wife is practical, she should appreciate anything. My FAV. gift our first Christmas was a Dyson vacuum cleaner from my hubby (I know, not cheap). But stuff like that thrills me! 🙂

  46. Carrie

Well, it’s not the cheapest gift, but one that every couponer would love! I’ve been begging for a droid, or any kind of good smart phone, so that I can check out Hip2Save no matter where I am! I’m keeping my fingers crossed!

    • Elizabeth

That is great! I have one and never thought of it. Sprint is the cheapest to get unlimited internet but not the best reception at least in my area. Good luck to you I hope you get one! I love my smart phone I use it to take pictures of all my new buys and upload them to facebook!

    • Amy Johansen

If anyone works for a phone company that offers Droid phones (My husband works for T-mobile and just got a free G4 to test for the company and train on), than it is possible to get one for a discount phone rate (if you have one coming up, you get them yearly usually), but I know that’s only a select few, but hey not a bad idea and something that is much cheaper that way… ;P

One year my husband gave to me few jewelries unexpectedly. He said he got at local gift store because he thought they are good on me. I knew they always have great jewelries includes hand made jewelries making by local ladies but I had never paid attentions. They are one of the kind and I really love them. He has been giving me tons of jewelries at so many occasions since we married because he likes to gives to me, according to him. Also thanks to him, I often get compliments for my piece. I’m such a lucky wife. He is proud of it! 🙂

I love the web site http://www.1saleaday.com Just yesterday they had this beautiful Pink Gem Stone (can’t rembemer what kind…) with 6 little diamonds 3 on each side for $25 shipped! This is a fabulous ring I know because I have the same one I got somewhere else! I also have purchased Video Camara’s for $25 shipped I bought 5 of them one for each kid in the family! They are $300 camaras! Every day at 9 PST they change the items so you only have one day to buy what you see. Happy Shopping on a Budget! I love it.

When we were newly married my DH put printed my favorite poem about being a military wife on pretty 8×10 paper ($0.50 at Michael’s) and put it in a cheap wood frame ($2 Wal-Mart) for me. It’s been 10 years and it’s one of my favorite gifts!

Probably my favorite gift from my hubby was our first anniversy (just last May) and he made me a slide show of our wedding with some very nice music, it was a very pleasant surprised that I really enjoyed. Dude, if you are at all technically proficient, I highly suggest doing this!

It is very inexpensive (you just need to get some pics of of your guys, and I am sure everyone has at least a few on their comp) and then pic a song or two and put it together, I am certain your wife will love it! And a hand made card or a love letter or two never hurts, and of course cooking a special holiday meal is always nice too, which you can take out of your weekly food budget. 🙂 Just a few inexpensive and relatively easy but VERY thoughtful ideas. :D:D:D

    God Bless ~Amy

Oh and another one I remember, I am not fond of most memories of my only pre-hubby boyfriend, but one thing he did that I liked (if you ever read the Five Love Languages, I am words person, if you haven’t dudes and dudettes, read it!!!), is he made me a list of all of the the things he loved about me and wrote it in French (which is a language I was learning that he was fluent in) and it was a very sweet gift, he printed it out on the computer with a picture underneath it (It was a blue color with a pink heart), and it was very lovely, I don’t have it anymore of course, but I would love it if my husband did that for me, in Japanese, he loves Japanese and I am learning, it but if either of you likes another language, I reccomend it, or even just doing it in english, but there is always something intriguing about foreign languages. 😀
