Nevermind…I see what you’re talking about. It’ll be 8-14 wks before the first issue comes. Not a problem. If you want it for a Christmas present, just buy a current issue and wrap it with a nice ribbon and tag that tells the recipient he/she has a year’s worth on the way!
Actually, got this last year…said the same thing time wise..the first issue was delivered before Christmas! Had to explain what it was doing in the mailbox! LOL. 🙂

This is a great price on this magazine, be aware that there may be a ‘swimsuit’ type issue included.
I had ordered a subscription last year very cheap for my older father and my 13-year-old son. To my chagrin, a few months ago there was a “body issue” (basically totally nude athletes just barely covering themselves with their hands or other things so you couldn’t see absolutely everything). I was able to intercept my son’s magazine and pitch it before he ever saw it but I had to call my father and warn him what was coming in his mail.
That’s what I was concerned with, just wasn’t sure if it actually came with the subscription or had to be bought separately. I read about this issue and they are posed that way this year as well. Thanks for the info.

Just so you are all aware, there is an explicit issue that come with this subscription. It is the ‘body issue’ and I think it comes around October. It has pictures of nude athletes. I’m not getting it for this reason, but I just wanted to let you all know as a heads up in case you don’t want the kids to see it!

this is what my confirmation email stated:
If you ordered a magazine that you already have a subscription for, the publisher will be adding on additional years to your subscription.
