Do we need to get out of the Amazon prime program ourself after the 3 month freebie or does Amazon contact us to join & pay a fee?
Yes, you will need to cancel your Amazon Prim account when your trials up. To do so, go to “Your Account” on the Amazon website, then scroll down to “Subscription Management” and click on the “Manage your Amazon Prime Membership” link. This will take you to a link that will allow you to adjust the settings on your Amazon prime membership. You can cancel it entirely if you haven’t used the reduced shipping prices yet. Otherwise you can set it so that it will not automatically renew.

I have the Amazon Prime ever since they started the program. I didn’t drive for many many years and it was so valuable to me back then – and suddenly everything came so fast! Even now when I do drive I still end up ordering things from amazon all the time because of the prices and deals… and now I don’t have to worry about the 25 dollar minimum, everything here on the second day, sometimes even sooner. The Prime membership more than paid for itself in my case. If I do remember correctly after all this time I did sign up first for the trial but you had to submit your credit card info – at least back then. And after the 3 months they did charge you. So I would recommend to mark your calendar and cancel before that day comes.

I don’t think you can do a rebate for an online order. Was wondering if I’m correct on this? It says no online reciepts. Anyone have any idea?

If you read the terms and conditions it says original cash register receipts or on-line receipts. I think you are reading it wrong. It says( no photocopies) but mail-in original cash register receipts or on-line receipts. Check it out again.
