Maybe another time for some of us

My trip for Keurig Office Pro:

    Bought 3x gift cards prior online ($75 total+ $15 bonus) – staples.cashstar.com
Bought $25 off $100 in-store coupon on eBay, $0.99 (I got the coupon immediately after I paid for it, printed it out and went to Staples)
Price matched OfficePro on Staples website: $99.99 (Plus no need for 20% coupon doing this. And if you have a 15% off that was emailed to you, you might be able to stack it with the $25 off $100, or if you want to try and stack the 20% coffee brewer coupon with it. YMMV on the stacking though)
I bought scissors since I needed them as filler, but for sake of calculation, let’s say $100.

    $100 – $25 ($25 off $100 coupon)
    =====
    $75
    +$0.99 (Cost of coupon)
    =====
    $75.99
    + 8.75% Tax (California)
    =====
    $82.63
    – $15 Bonus Gift Cards (These expire at the end of the month)
    =====
    $67.63
    – $75 in gift cards (Come in denominations of $25 in order to get the $5 bonus for each $25 gift card)
    =====
$7.73 left over from gift cards
    +$25 SER

Total OOP after gift cards and SER:
    $35 for office pro.

Anyone wanting to replicate this, should get the gift cards, and then call the number in the email that they send to verify. Once they verify, they will send you an emailed gift card, that you can print out. Be sure you use your bonus ones first, since they expire 12/31.

(Let me know if I did my math wrong LOL)

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

wow, thanks for the info, great deal 🙂

    • Rebekah

Which 25.00 Q on ebay did you use, it looks like the ones I am looking at are shipped to you like a paper Q???

      • Kim

The one I bought from is from a seller named “instant-coupons.” Item # is 250743783147.

He sends you a link once you pay, you go to the link and enter in the captcha information. Once done, it’ll take you to the coupon you can print and bring in store. 🙂

    • Crystal

I was thinking the OOP may be a little higher. I may be wrong, so correct me if I am – but this is how my math came out.

Spent $75 for three gift cards and $1 for the $25 off coupon. So the total out of pocket you spent would be $76.

In the end you have $7.73 left on a gift card and $25 coming back through the rebate. This totals $32.73.

So the total OOP would be $76 minus $32.73, equalling $43.27 after rebate and gift card balance. Which is still a great deal, but I was just trying to figure it out! Thanks.

      • Kim

You’re probably right, I’m never too good at figuring it out haha, but it was slightly better than the original deal since you get $15 bonus. 😛

Oh the way I figured it out also, was this:

$76 out of pocket – $15 free – $25 staples easy rebate, did I do my calculation wrong then?

        • Crystal

Okay, last question – does anyone know if we can use the $25 rebate to buy gift cards? I thought I recalled someone a few weeks ago saying you could do this…

          • Crystal

Kim – I know I said last one (last time), but did you buy the $25 gift cards in three separate transactions? I put three cards in my cart and it is not showing any promotions e-certificates. I just want to make sure I get them. Thank you so much!

            • Kim

I went here to buy them: staples.cashstar.com

Then, I bought each one separately ($25.00 denominations). Once I bought them, I got an email from cash star stating that they would be validating my order. However, instead of waiting on a call, they included a phone number in the email, so you should call them right away to get them validated. Also remember to ensure that you get your $5 bonus as it states on the site.

Once validated, they will email you 2 separate cards for each of your orders. The $25 gift card, and $5 bonus card. Hope that helps 🙂 It won’t show in your cart as actually having the bonus cards.

Also I don’t think you can buy more gift cards with your gift cards…

  5. LovinMyCoupons

Sweet ! maybe DH will agree that I can have one now!!!

  6. S

What’s the difference b/w the single serve and office pro? Does the office pro brew more?

  7. lyndsey

can anyone recommend one or the other?? the pro or regular?

  8. Amy J

Awesome!!!! wanted to get one for my brother and his girlfiend but out of price range until now. Thank you!!! Called Staples and they are holding it for me. 🙂

  9. Jennifer

And if you got in on today’s Recycle Bank deal, you can use the $10 off a purchase of $50 or more Staples coupon (if you are getting the Elite). It looks like the Elite does (2) different cup sizes – 8 oz and 10 oz and the Office Pro does (3) sizes (I think a 12 oz). Both have auto shut off, but the Office Pro is a 2 hour (assuming it will be used in an office setting).

    • Jennifer

One more thing . . . retail me not.com has two Office Depot coupons that Staples will accept as competitor coupons. One for $10 off $50 purchase – expires 12/20 and one for $20 off $100 purchase – expires 12/20. Both are printable!

      • Rebekah

Can this be used with the 20% Q or instead of?

        • aysha

i never had good luck with stacking coupons at staples…its usually one or the other.

        • Elisa

do you think we can use both the 20% and $10 off $50 from recycle bank?

          • rachel

I used the 10 off 50 from recycle bank today…i did not realize there was a printable 20% off coupon and went to the store without it. the cashier adjusted the price down so i got the 20% off and she took the 10 coupon, but this would probably be a YMMV…guess I got lucky..

          • Elisa

I just got back from staples, i used the 20% and recyclebank coup! I also scored a 3 pack puffs tissue for $1.37 on clearance and a 6 pack staples packing tape for $2.99 and 50 pack sharpeners in different colors for $3.99. Thanks Colin, you rock!!!

        • Jennifer

It seems to depend on the cashier. I have been able to before, but another time, could not. I am going to try today.

      • Crystal

Will Staples accept the OD coupon, even though it says reproductions or copies not acceptable…. must present original coupon with coupon code on it? Thanks!

        • Jennifer

I just used an OD coupon at Staples on Tuesday, the one from RMN.com and they had no problems with it.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

A good point to note is that the K-cup is not compatible with the Office Pro so if you like to make your own brews the Elite would be the way to go. My Staples only sells the Elite or the Office Pro models.

  10. Mel

Kurig had a demo at my Harris Teeter and gave out $10 MFQ. Stupid me can’t find it now!

  11. Lisa

The $25 easy rebate is supposedly in stores only.

  12. LAURA

THANK YOU COLLIN!!! You are SO awesome! I have over $70 in staples rewards so I am stopping on my way home from work to get one of these for hubbie (even though I WAS done with my shopping!)

  13. Lisa

What if I want to do the deal above and I purchase the gift cards only to get to my Staples and find out that they don’t have anymore in stock?

    • Lisa

buy it online 🙂 The 20% is automatically deducted when you add it to your cart.

      • Kim

If she buys gift cards, they’re only valid in store (the ones sent via email, and that you get a $5 bonus with them)

        • Lisa

well, order via the in store kiosk, pay in store…. would that work?

          • Kim

That would work, but then wouldn’t the store have to have them in stock? I’m not very familiar with buying things at the Kiosk…

            • Lisa

lol…I’m not familiar with buying things at Staples. We don’t have one here. Didn’t know if it worked like Kohl’s kiosk

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The $25 GC is only supposed to be valid for in store purchases.

  14. Kim

If she buys gift cards, they’re only valid in store (the ones sent via email, and that you get a $5 bonus with them)

Edit: Whoops, this is a response to Lisa.

  15. Lisa

I guess maybe I should just call my store first to see if they have anymore in stock?

  16. Lisa

ok, never mind they seem to be out of stock online already. Also, we do not have a local Staples. I must have been confusing it with Office Depot or Office Max because I know that we have both of those stores. Bummer! DH would have loved to get this for Christmas.

  17. Crystal

How does this price compare with Kohl’s sales on these? Anyone know? Also, which deal is better – Staples or price match at Office Depot?

  18. aysha

ummm any deals on the kcups, cuz those can add up to $750 a year if you are a daily coffee drinker! please be sure the person you are gifting this to can afford that…amazon no longer does subscribe and save on the kcups, and there are a lot of complaints about the kcup permanant filter overflowing and leaking coffee grinds into the coffee.

    • Kim

If you buy a new Keurig, you can get 48 free k-cups once you register the brewer after you buy 2 k-cup boxes.
“Register your FIRST brewer and receive an offer for 2 free K-Cup® boxes, with the purchase of 2 boxes. (note: this offer is valid only for the first brewer registered per household)”
Also heard that you can POSSIBLY stack a $2 off per box, with coupon code “NEWSITE”

      96 k-cups for $27.80!

      • Jennifer

        Where is this??

        • Kim

You register the brewer on Keurig’s site, and can order on Keurig’s site 🙂

          • Jennifer

            Thank you!

  19. Lisa

I can’t decide if I want to do this. Thinking of buying it for the office b/c I always want coffee but never want t o brew a full pot!

i bought a $25/100 coupon on ebay so I could do the deal online.

    • Kim

Careful with that! There’s no mention of $25 SER back online, and some people were reporting that it’s in-store only and got denied by CSRs. However, there were some that reported it working fine… so YMMV…

      • Lisa

yeah, I wasn’t really sure if it would work online or not. I posted earlier that it was supposedly in store only via the rebate fine print. That’s why I can’t decide 🙂

  20. Samantha

I thought about doing this deal last week, but my research told me that the office edition is not compatible with the accessory where you can use your own coffee instead of using only K-Cups. You might want to check it out if this is important to you.

  21. Deb

I know it’s more costly but I’m getting the Tassimo machine for DH.
It makes the BEST cappuccino by far of all the popular machines and that’s all he loves.

    • lyndsey

I have had the tassimo for a year now, and your right it makes great lattes and cap. but the variety is lacking. I went out today and bought this keurig deal!

  22. janice

Bought one for my parents’ Christmas present…. 20% off coupon worked (in-store) and just submitted my Staples Easy Rebate online… so I’ll be getting $25 rebate in the mail.

So excited for them to open their present!

  23. Jodi

I cant find the easy rebate…any other info..called staples.com they know nothing about an easy rebate on this item.

    • Lauren W

There were signs up at my Staples right on top of and in front of the Keurigs saying that there was a $25 GC when you bought it.

    • rachel

if you look in the circular online it says there is a $25 gift card to Staples through the easy rebate. When I bought mine today the form printed out right after the receipt.

  24. Rebekah

I got mine today!!! Price matched the 99.99 from their website, used the 25.00/100.00 Q, bought 3 25.00 Gift Cards (which got me 15.00 bonus GC’s). Paid $60.00 for the Keurig + getting back a $25.00 Staples GC, so like $35.00!! I am so excited, I am getting ready to brew my first cup 🙂

    • aysha

SO….how was the coffee? which flavor did you get?!

  25. Rebecca

Thanks for posting. I got the last one in our store, for my husband tonight just before the store closed.

  26. aysha

btw, you can buy the solofill on amazon.com with free shipping, so its onlt 15 instead of 20 ,from the solofill website. you can also check out reviews to see what ppl thought about it.
