Was in Big Lots today and they have everything marked 90% off. There seemed to be a lot of good stuff left here in Richmond, VA

I have one really close to me so I went and checked it out..there wasn’t too much left, but I was able to score some really great deals like decorative flameless candles for less than a dollar (reg $9.99) and a gorgeous serving platter for under $4 (reg $35). Thanks for the heads up 🙂

I went today after work. I got a beautiful server for $3.34 (retail $34.34), bear ornaments for 29 cents (retail $2.99), hot beverage holders for 90 cents (retail $9), paper that can be used other times of the year for 50 cents, paper plates for 29 cents (we use these all year), bath products, name tags and gift bags. I got $100 worth of items for about $16 including tax!

Plus, I went to Bath & Body and got my free lotion plus they have the matching body spray for $2. I bought it and got a free travel size item. Total $2. I saved these and make them into matching sets of body care but small package. I keep for gifts for birthday, Xmas, Valentine Day, etc. Inexpensive and nice little gift!

I scored $85 worth of stuff for only $9 (candles, wrapping paper .58 cents, and scented box). I also went to Bath and Body works to score my free lotion. Plus, I used the buy an item and get a free travel lotion. I love Christmas deals especially 90% off deals.

    1 ornament (reg 9.95) for .95

Thanks for the heads up, Collin!

ohh…and I wouldn’t trust the availability on their website, (or maybe the sales associates had stuff for themselves in the back)

    • Emilee

Yes, I saw a sales associate with three large candle holders. It was pretty funny.

  12. sramze

Oh man! My hubby went out of town for work tonight too! Bummer! :o( IDK if I can handle my three fellas in Pier One @ 5, 3 & 2 it’s literally like three little bulls in a china shop. LOL!!

    • Jessica Claire

I’m with you there! And I don’t know about you, but my store doesn’t have carts either! Double wammy on my end. I will have to wait for another night.

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thank you for the heads up! I stopped by and found quite a few things. Red plates at $.80ea, ornament looking bowls $.38ea, a beautiful table runner for $3.99, Scented Reeds for $1.79, Door Mats for $1.xx plus left plenty behind iincluding coffee cups, placemats, tree decorations, gift boxes, gift bags and more.

The sales lady laughed and said she has to stop ‘shopping’ the Christmas stuff as her holds in the back is HUGE.

  14. Alyssa

Yay! Went with my MIL and found some cute mugs for 80 cents that I will be using for gifts next year! And a beautiful embroidered table runner for 3.50 🙂

  15. Lynn_N

Thanks for the post. I was able to get 3 (reed diffuser and candle sets) for $1.99 each. It is not the Reed diffuser shown in the picture. The Pier 1 employee said that if you open a Pier 1 charge card now you will recieve a $20 certificate in the mail and if you make any purchase in February with your charge card you will recieve another $20 certificate. I may just have to go back and open a charge there (I didn’t have time today). ***

I love Pier One but I wish they’d sell stuff online! Anyone know why they don’t? I can’t stay in the place very long to shop – all the candles and diffusers and room sprays…I get the WORST headache!! 🙂

Thanks for the head’s up. Stopped there after work. Got the box of Christmas crackers – big box – for $1.88 each…bought all 12 boxes which I’ll use for the kid’s Christmas parties at school this coming Christmas. They also had these little kaleidoscopes for 8-cents each. Little nutcracker soaps were 28-cents each. I got some plates and napkins…and some beautiful tea towels for 80-cents. Great great score!

I went in today. By looking on line and checking availability, I was able to get some Christmas ornaments that I saw online. Online, my store was out of the specific ones that I wanted, but a store about 1 hour north of me had them. So, I went into the store and bought what I wanted. I found 5 of the ornaments that they were supposed to be out of stock on. I went to the cashier and told her that I wanted more of the same and that the other store had them in stock. I was able to give her a product description and the sku numbers. She called the other store and they had 38 more. Even better, They are shipping them to my local store for the clearance price and no shipping. I buy a gift for a group of women each year at Christmas. The original ornaments would have cost me $258. I got them for a total of $24.94! Thank you so much for the heads up!

  21. Nancy

    I got:

4 large diffuser gifts sets, 3 diffuser/candle gift sets, 2 sets of 4 glitter candles, 4 nice glass ornaments, 5 other ornaments, 2 snowmen baskets, 3 mice ornaments, 2 more diffusers, 8 sachets, 2 cute tea light sets and 10 gift boxes for $37. Many items were 8 cents! Woot!

  22. Amy

Check out Garden Ridge too. Yesterday I bought $400 worth of stuff for $40, including an amazing Christmas tree.

  23. Kaitlyn

Thank you so much for the heads up!!!!!! I scored so much stuff there!
I got an awesome decorative sequinced christmas tree that was orignally $79.99 for $8. I got tons of the orignally $3.95 ornaments… I will turn them into napkin holder favors next Christmas! Can’t beat it for $0.40 each!!! Beautiful Christmas tree/scent shaped plates and peppermint candy shaped serving bowl. Going to another one near my house today to see what they have left! Go quick because I noticed that if people like something they still have they seem to grab the rest of them at that price!

  24. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Wow! Just bought $200 worth of stuff for $20! Thanks for the Great Tip!
