  1. Shannon

So who’s going to be the guinea pig on the Neutrogena deal? 😉

    • robin

      JAJAJAJAJAJAJA!!!!

    • Erin

CVS usually seems to catch these loopholes the second time around. Buy it only if you want it whether or not the ECBs print.

      • Elizabeth

The ad says .47 oz to 6.7 oz. So, if a size in that range is purchsed you should get your ECB.

  2. jmartcougar

Don’t forget the bleach will be 1.88 pair it with the 1.00 off Clorox coupon from facebook for .88 cents!

  3. meganph

i know right! (about the neutrogena deal)

  4. mouni

    Thanks, Collin!
Grrr I wanted to try honest tea but they’re revamping their site and those coupons can’t be printed. (
BTW, there is also a 1$ coupon off Emerald nuts Cocoa or cinnamon roast cannisters from about 2 or 3 weeks ago (don’t remember the exact date).

    • Mandy Arnold

It was in the 1/30 RP!!

    • jessica graham

I have a TON of honest tea coupons (save 1$ on two). I have them on ebay CHEAP! Will ship same day that payment is made… should get them in time.
my username is jessicagraham731 on ebay.. you can look it up under the “community” tab on the homepage.
      Jessica

      • Rainey

        cool! thanks for the info

  5. Robin

Don’t forget, if you got the P&G $110 coupon book, there are coupons for $1/1 Gain Dish detergent in them! Free dish soap is always nice! Especially when it smells as great as the Gain does! 😉

    • Heather

Thank you! I always forget about those little coupon books!

    • imakeagoodhat

Ooh! When did you get yours? I haven’t been home in a few days so if you got yours maybe I got mine. 🙂

      • regin

I just recieved mine in the mail 3 days ago.

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

if you got the free herbal essence coupons from facebook it will be a $2 MM!

    • dolly

      how it works out 2 b a mm. I thought the cost wud b 0 for 2

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

the circular i got said that there was a 2 ecb wyb 2

  7. M

    (2) $1/1 HERBAL/AUSSIE In MIR P&G coupon booklet = 1.97 for 2!

  8. M

HAHAHA wow.. we all LOVE our P&G coupon booklet! Can’t wait for my new one to come from FB 😉

    • kim

I have not ever got one. Can you tell me where I would go to get it? Thank you. 🙂

      • M

You have to wait for the next offer from P&G.. just missed it.

The 1st one was a MIR (mail in rebate) spend $50 on P&G products sent receipts in and they sent you a $110 coupon booklet w/ high value P&G coupons.

2nd offer was ~ a week ago on their FB (facebook page) just a simple request form to fill out and you would get a FREE $110 coupon booklet

        • kim

Well pooey. I don’t know how I missed last weeks one but thanks for the info. I need to pay more attention from now on. 🙂

  9. Jenny

I think the gain coupon is .25 cents off one. Not 20 cents. Better deal!
Wish I had the coupon book!! I didn’t get mine in yet for some reason.

    • Alicia

Some regions received .20 and some .25.

  10. Brianna

Collin, what happened to the Whitestrips post? Was looking to get that deal today, Thanks!

    • Collin

      Hi Brianna,

I removed the post after realizing that the coupon used in the deal scenario wasn’t for the right product. Sorry about that.

      • shan f

Hey Collin, I went to my store and was able to use the coupon on a different box (smaller one) at CVS.. It wasnt pictured on the coupon, but I went for it and it never gave a problem at all! I think it was for the 3D vivid. It was the only box there that was a smaller box & priced at $31, everything else was around $55. Went through fine, but I didnt get $10 ECBs in return, though my cousin did the same deal at her store, same kind and got her $10 ECBs. I dont mind much, and I use the whitestrips, great deal, but I used $10 ECBs to pay for them hoping for a rollover lol. Cant win em all!

        • tracy

i didn’t get the 10 ecb on the whitestripes either…still a good deal with coupon….

    • Brianna

Not a problem, I understand. Thank you!! 🙂

      • Betsy

I was able to do the whitestrips deal at my CVS today! It was $31.99, got the $10 off from CVS, used a $10 coupon, and still got the $10ECB! So it’s worth a shot, but even if you don’t get the $10 ECB it’s still a great deal, you can’t get whitestrips for only $10!

        • Krystal

Thing is, like Collin said, the coupon was not for that item. It goes through anyway but says on there which items it is for. If your cashier is paying attention, the coupon will be declined for those other items.

          • Dianna

There is a valid coupon to get the deal. If you got the 3D Whitestrips sample that was available from Walmart awhile ago there is a $10 coupon included that lists a variety of Whitestrips that it’s valid for. I just got the sample a couple days ago and hadn’t even opened it yet.

I did the deal today and got the ECBs using that coupon after someone mentioned it on the original thread.

            • Brianna

Which one did you buy? I have the same coupon.

  11. LJ

The Glade Sense and Spray is on rollback at Walmart for $4.88 minus the $3/1 is $1.88.

  12. Lindsey

My paper had $1 off Gain dish detergents 🙂 YAY!!! I must have 10 of them SWEET!!!

    • Sarah

There is a limit of 6, just so you know.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

nice, what paper is this?? coupon insert?

  13. jmartcougar

Can I use two manufacture coupons for two of the same items? the fine print says one coupon per purchase

    • Elizabeth

Yes, you can use 2 manufacture coupons if you purchase 2 items (as long as it’s $1 off 1 and not off 2). Per purchase = per item. If it said 1 per transaction then you’d only be able to use one coupon.

  14. Pat

The magic coupon machine gave me a $2 off L’Oreal Studio Secrets Eye Illuminating mascara coupon today. It has a 2 week expiration, so will definitely come into play with the mfr’s and the ECB deal starting tomorrow.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

What is the magic coupon machine?

      • Summer

A machine near the entrance, where you scan your CVS Card and it will print out some CVS coupons for you. You never know what you’re going to get.

  15. Mitch

Seems like kind of a light week to me, the Honest Tea deal is the only thing that stands out.
    thanks for the info!
    http://www.gaynycdad.com

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Do you comment on every post so you can leave your link? LOL. Well guess it works, I finally clicked on it after seeing it like 2,000 times haha!

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

        yeah i know! hahaha

      • MommySpendsLess

I’ve noticed Mitch around here a lot but his comments are always relevent to the original post. Far less annoying, in my opinion, than the hundreds of referral links and requests for Amazon codes that have been posted lately.

        • MominKY

          Agreed. I appreciate relevant comments.

  16. Heather

Toothpaste and Coke will be it for me. I have three Free 12 pack coupons from my Coke Rewards. Not sure if I can use all three at once – maybe I will just use two and pay out for the other – with the $3 extra bucks back – a great deal.

    • Lacy

They’ve always let me use as many as I wanted. I think I used 4 free coke coupons on the last deal and received the ECBs that went with the deal.

    • Jolene

Our store started the deals tonight, no trouble using the free coke coupons at once.

      • Heather

Yeah! They let me use all three and they rang up each coupon as $4.99 instead of the $3.33 so I scored overage and extra bucks. Doing a happy Diet Coke dance (even though I know that stuff is awful for me – it is the one unhealthy habit – my indulgence)

  17. Dee

I was in my CVS (Lexington, KY) and there were $1.50 manufacturer Coke coupons for the 12-packs by the display. So, 3/$11, with three $1.50 coupons, oop $6.50 plus $3 ECB. Inexpensive 12 packs!

  18. Tootsie

are there any other coupon inserts that have the same BOGO in the 10/10 rp? im actually running out of toothbrsuhes.

    • Nicole Z.

I was wondering the same thing. I am running out of toothbrushes, too! LOL…

  19. Francesca

I have a question about the limits. It says limit one is that per transaction?

    • Elizabeth

No, the limit is per ad period (so 1 week). It’s tracked on your card and at the bottom of your receipt it’ll say offer limit reached when you can no longer do the deal.

Limits at CVS are nice because you don’t have 1 person coming in and clearing out the shelves. However, sometimes you need more than one or 2 of a particular item so in those cases it can be kind of a bummer. In the end it’s fair though and usually the deals repeat every 6 weeks or so (sometimes more frequently).

      • Elizabeth

Oh, sometimes they do have monthy deals with limits so in that case it’d be 1 per month (or whatever the limit is). Collin usually notes monthly deals in her posts.

      • Krystal

The only thing that isn’t fair and that CVS can’t really control are the people that get a CVS card for every member in their family plus the dog and then do a deal for each card and end up wiping everything out. The fine print clearly says one per household and then they argue that the other person is in another household.

        • meganph

my cvs wont let you use more them one card. now if you just try and come back when there is a different cashier there isn’t much they can do but if you do it alot they notice.

    • Sarah

Per card, your card will track your purchases.

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

wow nothing much this week! I haven’t received my free hair foam coupon in the mail yet, but hopefully it will come this week. I scored great deals tonight at CVS. $18 in ecb’s..luckily they expire in one month. Hopefully a light week means a great week next!!

  21. Erika

I was at my CVS today and saw hangtags on the Powerade for $1/3 Fuze, Vitamin Water, or Powerade, so if you see them at your CVS too then it will make any of them $1 for 3 after ECB!

  22. Bee

There is a $1.00/1 coupon out there for any Emerald Nuts Product 5 oz or larger. I have already cut it out but think it’s RP and expires 3/13

  23. kay

it’s really a limit of 1 ecb for the honest tea?!?

  24. Mitchell Wischmann

Beware! The Listerine ECB wasn’t printing for me tonight. It wasn’t in their system at all and they manually printed me one.

    • Sarah

Technically the sale doesn’t start until today. Does your store activate their sales on Saturday?

  25. Jennifer

What zipcode are you using to print the Huggies coupon? I can’t seem to find it. Thanks so much!

  26. Amanda

Anyone who is still hanging on to their B1G1 Vitamin Water coupon (I think it was a facebook printable) could use it for the Beverage deal. You would end up paying $2 for 3 and get $1 ECB back making them 33 cents each! I have been waiting to use mine for either B1G1 sale or for someone to have them $1 or less.

    • Sarah

That is what I am doing too!

  27. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Anyone know what zip to use for the Huggies 2/1 coupon? Thanks

  28. Sarah

Has anyone tried the Reach toothbrush or floss deal? My BOGO toothbrush coupon states “any single Reach Total Care + Whitening”, while the ad states “Reach toothbrush 2 pk”.

    • Kristin

I was wondering the same thing. I didn’t attempt it because my cashier is usually pretty strict with coupons.

      • Sarah

Well, I was wondering if the singles might be included.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The single toothbrushes weren’t on sale at my cvs, just the two-pack. HTH!

      • mel

I went in to do this deal and after reading the wording on the coupon and in the ad I realized it’s a no-go. It’s always a bummer to get excited about a moneymaker or good deal and then realize it’s not right. I did get the moneymaking toothpaste and the vitamin water 4 for $1 though so not a bad trip.

        • Julie

My CVS is so good with coupons. They gladly took the BOGO for the 2 pack as well. I wasn’t fraudulent with it, they are just flexible with coupons. Doing it the one time (so getting 2-2pks) generated the full ECB for the limit of 2.

  29. Alexis

I didn’t scan my ExtraCare card until yesterday and got the $3/$10 Cosmetics coupon with an expiration date of 2/13–which makes the L’Oreal free/moneymaker! (just free for me b/c I’m using 2 $2/1 coupons…). Not sure if all of the 3/10 coupons printed with a Sunday expiration or just if you printed it on Saturday, but just wanted to let people know in case it’s useful! (I know i’m excited!) 🙂

    • Melissa

No, it printed with a one day exp. I went once on Sunday and the coupon printed, exp on Monday. Then I went again on Wednesday and another one printed out, expired on Thursday. The only problem was I did not need makeup, nor had the right coupons to make it worth it with the deals last week.

    • Donna

I scanned my card yesterday too and got that $3 of $10 coupon. I also scanned it last Monday and got the same coupon and used it on the Nivea deal. So they can print out twice! Yay! I’m so excited! And the $2/1 Loreal eye cosmetic coupon is in the 1-23-11 RP. 🙂

      • Christine

I got the $3/10 q yesterday and my store had TONS of makeup on clearance 75% off. I ended up getting 8 items for $4.14 oop (before q’s it was $83!).

It also printed a $3 of any revlon q which made for a free revlon item that was on clearance. 🙂

      • Emily

That’s what I did, too! Made for a sweet deal. 🙂

  30. Karen

Wasn’t there a possibility for 25% off at CVS tomorrow (Valentine’s Day)? I guess if they are going to do that we won’t find out until tomorrow? I am wondering if I should wait until tomorrow to go to CVS if I can get all the deals plus an extra 25% off or would I not be able to use it with the deals?? Sorry, kind of new to all of this!

    • Melissa

The 25% off is ONLY good on Reg Price items, sale and ECB deals are excluded.

  31. jmartcougar

I went to CVS yesterday and my total was $30. After ECB, gift card and coupons I only paid $4.00!

  32. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Ive never really tried any CVS deals, until 2 nights ago. Now I have me 11.00 in ECB’s . Dont know if there are enough deals to keep it rolling, but I’m gonna try. Hope I get that P&G booklet in soon 🙂 LOVE that gain dish soap!

Today I picked up 1 Excedrin Extra Strength and 1 Excedrin PM both 100 ct. They were on sale 2/$13.98 with a $3 ECB when you bought 2. I used my free Extra Strength coupon (up to $5.99), $3.50 off PM coupon, and a $2 off PM that printed from the coupon machine last week. Paid $2.49 and got back the $3 ECB!

Thanks for the heads up!! I needed to use those coupons

      • Andrea

        Glad I could help!

Wanted to share a great deal with this week at CVS. Yesterday night (Sat), the magic coupon machine gave me a coupon for $3 off any cosmetics purchase of $10 or more (exp 2/13 – today). I bought the CG Lashblash Masquera using the above posted deal for a final price of $2.50 each. Using the above deal with 2/$1.00 CG coupons + $3 CVS coupon. Yahoo!

honest tea site is down. Hope it gets up soon. I want to try that tea.

    • Heather

I didn’t think it was that great.

    • Emily

If you like your tea lightly sweetened, you’ll like it a lot. It has great flavor, without much sugar.

where is this neutrogena product – looked with the other neutrogena and couldn’t find anything exactly like it – was willing to be the guinea pig, but couldn’t find it 🙂

FYI the good ole coupon machine spit out a couple of nice coupons $1/speed stick and $2/1 any body wash–the speed stick worked out great with the ECB deal this week both coupons had good expiration dates on them so scan ur cards

Had a great experience at CVS tonight. I called to double check that they take competitor coupons, and they do! Too bad I just missed the ECB Whitestrip deal, but I still did ok. And with a wedding coming up I really need them! 🙂
Normally $55, CVS sale for $44, took Manf Coupon for $10 off, then took Walgreens $10 coupon, then had $7 in ECB to go along with it. Was very happy to know I can stack now. The manager said that any competitor, Target, RiteAid, etc. they will honor, even if it produces an ECB. If you haven’t already checked with your CVS you should!

Also, they take expired ECB, so ask your CVS about that as well!

I’m confused. Collin said to use the Covergirl coupon from today’s Red Plum to help score a deal on Covergirl products. I was going to go for the Lash Blast Mascara & Shine Blast Lipgloss. But the RP coupon says it’s only good on “Eyelights” product, not the same product Collin was suggesting….?….help!

Last week when I went to CVS and tried to use an internet coupon the cashier said they are no longer accepting them. Has anyone else had that happen at CVS? Also, my CVS doesn’t accept expired ECB’s, neither does my Rite-aid… Darn!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Mine still does…. did you have their coupon policy in hand?

      • Pam

I didn’t have their policy in hand but before I could even question it she said she just received the fax or email that day.

    • Alexis

I live within a few miles of a number of CVS stores and the one closest to me no longer accepts internet coupons. I think it has to do with whether or not the store has had problems with people using them illegally. The rest of the stores in the area still accept them though!

I have a question and I’m hoping you all can help! I went to CVS saturday and found the Nivea sun kissed lotion in the clearance section marked down to $2.12 so I picked up the 5 they had there and used 5 of my $1 off coupons. After I purchased them the cashier said they didn’t count towards the ECB deal so no ECB’s printed. Yesterday I went and my Listerine ECB’s didn’t print out. But I purchased 2 pantene gel’s that were on marked down 75% and it printed a $1 ECB for pantene. Am I missing something? Should I have gotten my ECB for the Nivea and Listerine? Thanks!

    • Shelly

Hi Aimee, I bought make-up on clearance (almay and revlon) and the EB’s didn’t print out either. The cashier said that clearance normally does not generate EB’s. So, when I got home, I called customer service. I pointed out that their policy does not state the clearance is not included but I was still met with the same statement that “EBs are not issued on clearance product”. The rep was very polite but I was disappointed. And to make things worse – the entire shelf – including the peg the product was on – had an EB label! AND – I bought hair color on clearance which DID generate EBs. Oh well… still good deals and I shouldn’t complain. Just wish there was a Standard procedure.

    • Melinda

This happened to me too. I bought LOreal cosmetics a few weeks ago when they had an ECB deal. I bought all clearance items (and used coupons) but no ECBs printed. I told them that there were even signs over the exact times I bought advertising the ECBs. He went and looked and kindly printed out my ECBs. I agree, I wish it had been clearer how clearance items worked but next time I will know.

      • karla

I called about the same thing a few weeks ago, and they issued my ecb via the red machine. They didn’t even ask if it was clearance. Sorry.

  42. Jenny

anyone get to cvs today? I was wondering when they start clearancing the valentines stuff…

    • Felinda

I am planning to go Tues (2/15) after I drop the kiddos off at school to check but I would definitely call beforehand to doublecheck. Luckily for me my CVS is not that far away from my home. (5 min drive)

  43. dekya7

I thought I’d share that Walgreens Diabetes and You magazine [located at the pharmacy] has a manufacturer’s Q for a $1/1 Colgate. CVS and Rite-Aid are offering free Colgate toothpastes [limit 2] after ecb or +up. I’ve used it at CVS and it didn’t beeped. That’s $2 in-the-pocket overage!! ymmv, [hope not]. Next stop Rite-aid!

  44. bETH

I think that there is a hidden pantene deal. I bought a shampoo and conditioner(at 75% off and with an additional coupon making them 24 cents each) and got a $1ECB. Anyone else try something like this?

  45. Roxanne

I got a question… maybe someone can help me. I just got 2 Herbal Essences coupons by mail.

One is for a FREE shampoo or conditioner (max. value $3.50) and one is for $1 off. I would like to know if I can use them to get the Herbal Essences deal – 2 for $5.97 to get $2 extra bucks. I was wondering how much I would actually get to pay for them. Would the machine deduct the max value of the coupon – $3.50 or the regular price of the shampoo?

I also got by email a $3 of $15 coupon today and it says ‘Offer not valid in Beauty 360 stores.’ What does that mean? That I cannot use it on beauty products or there are certain Beauty 360 stores that I havent heard of yet….

    Thank you so much!!

    • Amy

The free coupon would deduct like $2.98 and you would use your $1 off on the other one. So you would pay $1.99 and get the $2 ECBs, so you would get them both free. I got a bunch of stuff this week and I used my $3/15 coupon and it went through with no problem. I didn’t look at it that closely and I don’t know what Beauty 360 stores are.

  46. Amy

The Reach Total Care + Whitening Dental Floss was on sale for $2.99 at my store. I bought 2 of them and used 2 $2 coupons. I paid $1.98 and got $4 in ECBs back.

  47. Krystle

Hi, I have a $10 extrabuck reward that expired on 2/15/2011. I am not planning on using it. If you can use an expired extrabuck reward at your cvs, please e-mail me at Kryst1e09@yahoo.com, and I will be glad to mail it to the first person who responds asap. I really don’t want this extrabuck reward to go unused.
