Toys R Us is offering up some awesome sales through 2/19! First, all Fisher-Price infant toys priced at $24.99 up to $84.99 are on sale buy one get one FREE (*Note: The free item is only valid up to $24.99)! This is a great time to stock up for baby shower gifts, birthdays, etc… This sale offers up huge savings considering you can save up to $24.99 with the purchase of 2 infant toys! This sale is also valid at Babies R Us.

And one other sale to note – All Hasbro Games are on sale buy 2 get 1 FREE! Pair this sale with the buy a Hasbro game for $9.99 or more get a FREE Hasbro card game coupon found here or here to make this sale even sweeter! Keep in mind that the Hasbro card games ARE included in the buy 2 get 1 FREE sale!

Here’s a deal scenario to get ya thinkin’:
Buy 3 Hasbro Games Priced at $9.99 each = $29.97
(Memory, Don’t Break the Ice, Ants in the Pants, Cootie + more)
Buy 3 Hasbro Card Games $5.99 each (if you can find them at this price – they may be more) = $17.97
Minus Buy 2 get 1 FREE sale = $35.96
Use 3 buy a Hasbro game get a FREE Hasbro card game coupon found here or here
(will deduct $17.97 if you buy all $5.99 card games)
Final cost ONLY $17.99 for 3 Hasbro games AND 3 Hasbro card games – just $3 each!

*NOTE: This could potentially be a YMMV (your mileage may vary) depending on your cashier. Some cashiers may have a problem deducting the card game amount since you are getting the game free with the store sale. However, in my opinion, store sales are separate from manufacturer’s coupons and the store will get reimbursed… so to me, it’s like paying with cash – just smarter! 😉

I may be reading this wrong, but I believe on the Fisher Price Buy One Get One Free sale, the free item has to be 24.99 or less. And the one you buy has to be $25 or more.

  2. Angie

Doesn’t the add say the ‘free’ item for the B1G1 Fisher Price has to be under $24.99?

    • Collin

Yep… you both are right. I was so excited too… oh well, a $24.99 savings is still great! 🙂

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yeah, I have done this deal when they have offered it in the past…..You buy one toy priced over $24.99, then you get one free price under $24.99.

  4. Chione

I noticed the Hasbro coupon says good up to $5.99 for the card games, not $9.99. Not sure if they are on sale at Toys R Us, but I think the math might be off a little. Thanks for the tip regardless!

    • Collin

Oh thanks for the heads up… I’m going to update the scenario.

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

These deals are great if you know someone who is expecting…or for birthdays, etc. You can still get $50 worth of toys for only $25!

  6. Mitch

As a shopaholic, this scenario would work and I would just donate the toys and card games, I have to shop!
Even when I no longer need the items!
thanks, this is a hot deal

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Ha! Ha! You are funny! I can just hearing you saying these things!

  7. Lisa

I am confused on the card deal….how do you figure getting 6 for $9.99? You have to pay for 6 out of pocket in order to get 3 additional card games for free. Then add the coupon to take off the price of 3 games…my final total that I figured would be $29.97. What am I doing wrong? You only have 6 games in your scenerio….you should have 9. I didn’t think in a buy 2 get 1 free deal that you could just buy 2 and 1 be free. I am probably not making sense but I can’t get figure this out…

    • Kelly

If you buy 3 games and 3 card games (6 games total) you would get 2 free with in-store sale. Then add the 3 B1G1 free coupons, now you have 5 free and are only paying for one. Does that make sense? I started to confuse myself as well when I tried to do the math. There’s a good reason I never became an accountant!! lol!

  8. Kelly

Awhile back you posted a B1G1 free My Little Pony one day sale at Toys R Us combined with a B1G1 manufacturer coupon. My cashier told me I couldn’t use both (before scanning the coupon) I politely told her that yes I could because the B1G1 free coupon was as good as cash. She replied (very snottily) We’ll see if it works. She scanned the coupons and sure enough, they went through!! So, if they tell you you can’t do it, ask them to try and see if it works, because it should! 🙂

    Hi!

Thanks Collin for featuring this deal! Happy Valentines Day to all the Hip2Save community.

This is probably YMMV but try this scenario instead:

    Buy 3 Hasbro Card Games $5.99 each = $17.97
    Minus Buy 2 get 1 FREE sale = $5.99
Use 1 buy a Hasbro game get a FREE Hasbro card game coupon (will deduct $5.99)
Final cost ONLY $5.99 (plus tax) for 3 Hasbro card games – just $2 each!

I think my math/logic works though TRU may not like taking the B2G1 MQ on just 3 card games since their free one is one of them too.

    • Sarah

The only problem with this scenerio is that the coupons say that the game you are buying has to be $9.99 or more. =(

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yea, I have 12 $5 off Hasbro game card coupons I got last year when I bought a bunch of the card games. I hope I can find some good deals. I used some of them to get free games at Target when they had their toy clearance. Maybe I can use them on some of the board games and get $5, $10 off!!!!!

    Xmas, Birthday and Easter gifts!!!!!

OK, this isn’t a total ‘freebie’ but i think it worked out pretty good!

    I purchased 3 Scrabble Flash games @ 29.99 each. So, minus the 3rd, it was 2 x 29.99.
    I purchased 3 different card games @ 6.99 each. So, minus the 3rd, it was 2 x 6.99.
I then had 2 coupons for $4 off Scrabble Flash. So, -$8.
I also had 2 coupons for “Free Hasbro Card game” but it said in fine print “up to $5.99 value”. So, another 2 x – $5.99….So, minus about $11.98.

Total ended up being $60 with change OOP. But here’s the run down of savings:
    -$29.99 (free Scrabble flash)
    – $8.00 (2 coupons for Scrabble flash)
    – $6.99 (free 3rd card game)
    – $11.98 (2 free card games up to $5.99 value)
    Total Savings = about $57.00.

Just a heads up…..initially, the last 2 free card games made the computer beep. The cashier seemed to be a newbie, so she had to ask a manager “Why is it beeping? Does it mean the coupon doesn’t work?” I very politely pointed out that the coupon was for $5.99 value but the cards were $6.99. The manager agreed with my statement/observation & informed the newbie to type in the card game values. Once she manually typed in $5.99, everything worked!

This could be a VERY sweet deal if you need/want other Hasbro games that are cheaper to start with. I really wanted the Scrabble Flash because my kids are older (9, 6 & 6) and we already have most of the cheaper games.

    Good luck to everyone!!!

  14. kelsey

yay ! my daughter turns one tomorrow but we’re not celebrating til friday. I procrastinated getting her presents and now I’m glad I did ! On her list was a few FisherPrice toys 🙂

  15. Robin

The only problem I can see with the game deal is the computer. Typically in the “get one free” deals at TRU it automatically deducts the lowest priced item of the lot. So even though you’re buying 3 games at 9.99, and 3 card games at 5.99, it will deduct 2 of the card games from your purchase price. Which means that, when they ring up the coupons, only one will take, because the computer will read the price of the other two as $0. That was my experience in the past with deals like this.

    • emilytwinmom

I’m going to try to buy two board games and one card game tomorrow, I’ll let you know what happens! I too think it won’t work, I have had very bad luck at TRU with coupons in the past. They look at me like I’m stealing!!!

    • Angela G.

Actually I work at Toy R Us…. as long as you ring up the 3 highest FIRST, then 3 lowest, it will work properly.

      • emilytwinmom

The coupon didn’t work… cashier said she couldn’t use a coupon on a free item, and the cards were the cheapest game so it was the “free one” of the 3 hasbro games I bought. I knew that was going to happen, oh well!

  16. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just returned from our local Toys R Us, I got one board game for $9.99 and two that were on clearance for $9.98. I pointed this out to the cashier because the coupon states that the game you buy must be $9.99 in order to get the free cards….she said, “let’s see if it takes it” (<-loved her for it!). I also got three card games for $6.99. As someone previously stated, the coupon says that you get a free card game up to $5.99, so they took off $5.99. I ended up paying $18 for all six games including tax.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I tried the same thing too but it didn’t work out. Even with a manager’s help the computer wouldn’t accept the 9.98 clearance games because the coupon stated 9.99. Glad it worked out for you, though.

  17. Paula

I bought Ratituk card game at Target this week ($9.99) and it had a $3 coupon sitting next to it. I think I got one online before but I couldn’t find it when I was in the store. Anyway . . . then I used my $5.99 card game free coupon to buy Monopoly Deal card game for $5.99. I picked that game because it had a $5.00 Hasbro game coupon inside it. I paid $6.99 for two games and I have $5 to spend later on a game as well. I think that’s a pretty sweet deal. When I get deals like this on items we don’t really need I donate them to my child’s school to use as prizes or in their annual auction.

  18. Heather

I was just at Toys R us and This is what I did. I also had the $5 off coupons from the hasbro card games at Christmas. I bought Scrabble(16.99), Sorry(16.99) and a holiday pack that had hungry hippos and a memorygame(14.98), as well as the card games picturika, scrabble slam and Monopoly Deal(6.99 each). I used 2 of the $5 coupons(sorry and scrabble…the coupons are specific at which games you can purchase), as well as 2 of the card game coupons(buy a hasbro game, get a hasbro cardgame free).
My total was $22 and change, including tax
I got the hungry hippos pack and all 3 of the cardgames free.
The cashier was wonderful, and it went off without a hitch!

  19. lynna

my toysrus said that they do NOT accept internet printed coupons… I’m bummed.

    • angmeade

I work at Toys R Us, we DO accept internet printed coupons. There are some fraudulent ones floating around that we cannot accept…. but everything else we can.

  20. Jessica Atkins

So I got the Jammin’ Band toy for $29.99 and the Laugh and Learn Puppy for $24.99.
With the B1G1 I got the Puppy for free so that left me with a total of $29.99
Used one of the 20% off coupons and my total with tax was $25.71…great deal:)

  21. Jenny

There is an offer for buy two powder formulas and get a $5 gift card back. Anyone know if this includes Enfagrow?

  22. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just returned from toys r us, the cashier said that they don’t accept internet coupons.

  23. Lisa

Did any cashier point out that the coupon says “Coupon may not be used in conjunction with any other offer?” Do they not consider the B1G1 store sale an offer? I’m new to this coupon stuff but learning! Thanks Hip2Save!

  24. manyhats0211

I think this would be a great deal but I am personally not going to try.. my toys r us in atlanta NEVER accepts these deals and it ends up being a waste of time and when I call they always agree with the store. It really turns me off from shopping at toys r us!!

  25. DeeDee

This deal did not work at my TRU because of the “Coupon may not be used in conjunction with any other offer” and there were few $9.99 games. Very Frustrating!

  26. Tammy

I tried this at Toys R Us and their system will not accept the coupons since they have them buy 2 get 1 free,

  27. Brandy

I sent an email to toys r us customer service about this specific sale and using coupons with it. The response I received back was that only one coupon would be accepted per transaction. I wish these companies would be more consistent with their policies, I know for a fact that I have used more than one like coupon in a transaction at my store in the past.
