wish I had one of those near me!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Me to all we have is Hannaford(shop&save) and a Shaws which does double up to 99 cents.

      • Miriam

Are you in Southern New Hampshire? We have the stores you named plus Market Basket. Even with the double coupons that are under $1 at Shaw’s, they are so expensive that its not worth it. This week Totink’s pizza is a great price with double Q. Love the pizza but savings aren’t worth the effort.

  2. Ashley

    My first hip2save comment/question 🙂
Is there a way to find out if/when other stores do double coupons? I can’t seem to find it on the stores websites, where I frequently shop. Thanks in advance!!

    I am in Texas.

    • Allison

Ashley, Im not sure where you live. But i live in the raleigh area of NC and Harris Teeter is my favorite place to shop ! I can never find anything from harris teeter saying they have double coupons coming up but one of our local news channel helpS by posting them on their website almost a full week in advance! So maybe try your local new stations website?

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

can u tell me what that website is, as I’m close to you, and would like to have this info as well. Thanks in advance.

        • allisonmills

The website is https://www.wral.com/5onyourside/smartshopper/ She even does matchups every week. She also host coupon workshops in different areas, im attending one this saturday in raleigh. Its only 15 dollars, and you have to bring 2 nonperishable items!

          • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

            Thanks, I appreciate it.

      • Dianna

I subscribe to Harris Teeter’s website. Every week they email me with the weekly ad.. and it states in the weekly ad if they are doing Douple or Triple Coupons… Also – they tell you the VIC specials that start on Friday… There are some really great deals too that you would know nothing about if you weren’t subscribed to their email list. Also — Check out southernsavers.com — Sorry Colin – but I used this for my grocery store shopping and use hip2save for everything else! LOVE both of these websites!!!! 🙂

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks, I do subscribe to their email but if I could find out when the double and triples are ahead of time would be great. Also I will check out the Southernsavers site as well. Thanks again for your help.

  3. Ashley

Collin, you don’t have a link for the DanActive or Activia Yogurt deal you mentioned. Is there an internet Q available?

    • Collin

Oops… I fixed the link. Sorry about that.

  4. Morganne

I was gonna ask that also, are there any other stores that “double” coupons? I can’t seem to find information at all…..thanks!

    • Tim

My suggestion is to just call around to some stores. We did that our area (MI) and found out that some stores do double coupons.

    • Erin

I am pretty sure that Weis doubles coupons if you have one of those near you. Not sure if it’s local to my area though.

    • Collin

      Hi there,

Lots of stores around the country do not ever double coupons or offer any type of Super Doubles promotion. Most of the grocery stores in my area do not double, so you may live in the land of no doubles as well. 🙁 I would, though, recommend calling the local grocery stores in your area and asking to speak with someone who knows about the stores coupon policy. Also, sometimes coupon offers and promotions are listed in the grocery stores weekly ads.

    • Allison

Where I live almost every grocery store doubles coupons on a regualr basis. Harris Teeter and Lowes foods double up to .99 cents, Kroger will double up to .50 cents. Those are just the stores I have around me.

    • Morganne

Thanks Everyone! I will try calling a few places, I’m a little afraid I live in the land of no doubles…but….we’ll see. 🙂 Central Florida has it’s perks…but….no Kroger, Harris Teeter, Rite Aid, Super Target (to get all the good Target deals…) . Maybe to make myself feel better I’ll go lay out and get tan instead;-)

    • D Garcia

Farm Fresh does double coupons up to 99 cents every day and up to $1.00 on Wednesdays.

  5. Stevie

will harris teeter take printed coupons? ex. toll house cookies???

    • michelle

yes they take internet printable coupons

    • Roger

Up to two per day for the same/like item.

    • AS

They just will not take BOGO internet printed coupons; it’s a corporate policy.

      • allisonmills

I’ve always used BOGO coupons at my Harris Teeter, even once the manager was involved and he said they glady accept BOGO internet coupons, as long as you are buying something. The only one they will not accept is one for something that is just free. Also, no where in the coupon policy does it state you cannot use BOGO coupons.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I agree i don’t see anywhere on the coupon policy saying that you get use a BOGO IP coupon. I use a raincheck for the Kellogg’s Cereal it was BOGO and had BOGO IP coupons and the CSM wouldn’t accept it. Harris teeter should post it clearly in fine bold words to not accept BOGO free IP coupons. I’m thinking of internet coupons that says free only isnt accepted but any word contaning the word “FREE” even though you have to purchase one for full price then its not accepted. 🙁 Use it at Drugstores and WM Target they welcome BOGO IP coupons 🙂

  6. Charli

I live in Virginia and Farm Fresh stores double $1.00 every Wednesday up to 20 a day and only 2 like coupons per visit. I go before work and get all my nonparishable items and then I go after work and get all my other items. Also there is a coupon in the area Entertainment book for $5.00 off of $50.00 purchase (give this to them before other coupons) Also in the Entertainment book there is a $10.00 off any prescription. So if you live in the Hampton Roads areas of VA its great!!!

  7. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Harris Teeter will only double coupons with a face limit of .99. Therefore any coupon of $1.00 will NOT be doubled. There is a limit of 20 doubled coupons per visit. FYI 🙂

    • NC_Anna

This is SUPER DOUBLES week Martha – they will double coupons up to $1.98 – 20 coupons. They do Super Doubles about every six weeks.

    • ashley

This week is double COUPONS SUPER doubles. They will double over 1.00 this week! Whooo hoo already went out early and so did many others. Shelf’s were bare at 8 am! lol

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Wish we had a Harris Teeter in Houston Tx. Visited Baton Rouge and was very impressed with Harris Teeter there. Their customer service was above and beyond the norm and the store was really clean and refreshing.

  9. CoastalCouponer

Harris Teeter Corporate told me they will accept a manufacturer’s coupon for a “FREE” item and apply it towards a BOGO sale, thus 2 FREE items! They DO NOT accept a BOGO m/c towards a BOGO sale. Be careful as some cashiers may try to charge you half price for 1 item. This should not happen!

    • Derek

Actually, that won’t work–BOGO at Harris Teeter doesn’t actually work out to BOGO–it’s half price when it rings up, so if you use a free coupon on a bogo sale, you’ll actually pay 1/4 of the retail price for two items. HTH 🙂

      • CoastalCouponer

I have asked corporate personally and used a m/c for a “FREE ITEM” on a BOGO. I know the items will ring up 1/2 on other BOGO’s but when you use a m/c for a “FREE ITEM” they will give you BOTH for FREE. If it doesn’t then they are not ringing it up according to how corporate says they should. As a reminder this only works on a m/c for a “FREE ITEM.”

        • Derek

Hm! I will need to use this next time I do that! I have always had it pan out the way I explained. Good to know!

  10. Jessica

I have been planning my trip for a week now.. lol…I use to not shop there ever, its soo expensive but they have been doing triple coupons for a month now and I havent gone anywhere else…this week even better!

  11. Nikki

HT is my favorite grocery store. They have awesome deals every week, some weeks are better than others. I LOVE Super Doubles! Thanks for the heads up on the Nestle Toll House Cookie Dough Ultimates! They are marked down because they are on clearance, meaning after these are gone, these varieties won’t be sold at HT anymore. Nothing beats FREE

  12. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

What zipcode is being used for the Dan-active??

  13. Jamie S.

I didn’t get any of the things free because they didn’t have any of the items left I went right before noon and everything I printed the coupons for were gone or being taken while I was looking for them errrrr. It was a crazy mad house too (1st trip to Harris Teeter not fun)

    • tammy

don’t get discouraged they do a very good job of restocking- so just keep checking.this morning before coupons $121.00 after coupons–20.00 woot woot

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

        congrats!! I went this morning….before was $67 and change……after = .07. Was soooo excited.

    • stephanie m

try going again early on Friday. Most stores restock/stock up for the weekend. Also, you could try another store. Some of the stores in my town are better about having more of sale items than others.

  14. Krystal

I went this morning, prior to seeing your post and paid about $40 for over $100 in groceries! I love Super Doubles! Guess I’ll be getting some of this stuff Friday when I go again after they let me know what my e-vic deals are!

  15. Laura

LOVE Harris Teeter. Spent $55 for $140 worth of groceries today, which is a bit high b/c I buy organic fruit/veggies/milk. If I hold out long enough (and shop when stuff is on sale and stockpile a bit), I can always do better than shopping at Walmart-no matter what people tell me 🙂

  16. Krystal

Also, if anyone has the Oscar Mayer Deli Creations printable for $1 off 2 you can use that on their BOGO deal (only on certain flavors though) and it’ll end up being 25 cents each! They’re regular 2.50 each there!

  17. Ginger

They are also very strict about reading coupons to see if they say DO NOT DOUBLE. I think my Mariana coupon said DND. I went today. Great deals. One good one is for Pedigree Dog Food (large bags). It’s BOGO and there are $3 off coupons on each bag!

    • Lindy

I hope my store has the $3 q on the dog food!!! I have the $2 insert one, but $3 would be great! Thanks!

  18. Lindy

LOVE SD’s @ HT!!!!!!!! Got 6 more days of it!!! 😀 I spent $5 for $69 worth of good groceries (no junk food this time)! My stores are not strict with DND 5 coupons either or using (2) coupons on BOGO’s!! And they will give RC’s you can use at the next SD’s!!

  19. Alyson

Just got back from my “Teeter” and Clorox Bleach is $1.99. So if you still have the $1 off any Clorox Disinfecting Product that was available for print earlier you get FREE BLEACH!!!! AWESOME!!!!!

  20. Jennifer

LOVE Super Doubles! Went at lunch and got $58 for $18, including one full-price item! You do have to get there early. I got the last one of a couple of items…

  21. Karen

    Collin,
I have a Harris Teeter near my home and the coupn policy for the super double coupon sale is as follows:
Only 20 coupons will be doubled per day per VIC card account. That means all coupons from 1cent -$1.98
Hint: Have husbands with different VIC card accounts and do separate orders
They will NOT double any INTERNET COUPONS and they will not accept any internet coupons for a free item or a bogo .
I hope this helps all your readers and I LOVE LOVE your SITE!!!!

    • Jennifer

This must be a YMMV thing, because my HT doubles internet coupons, no problem. I used a ton of them this morning during my trip.

      • tammy

        so do mine

    • allisonmills

      Karen,
I encourage you to contact customer service. My internet coupons always double, and I use BOGO coupons. The coupon policy doesnt say you cant use them

      • Karen

I have contacted customer service about not doubling internet coupons and I was told that the policy states(and I have read this) manufacturer’s coupons are doubled and internet coupons are NOT manufacturer coupons. I was told these are two different things even though an internet coupon states it is a manufacturer’s coupon. There is also a clause in the policy that says the policy can be altered at any time. Believe me I have tried everything to get them to double internet coupons!

        • Karen

Just to update all of you on my HT not doubling internet coupons………………….WELL THEY DO NOW! I finally got hrough to the right person and I saved $64.36 in internet coupopns!!!!! I WON! I WON!

    • Kiesha

I’m glad I don’t live near you, all of my HT double internet coupons. 🙂

  22. desirae

Love HT!!! I just spend $7 for $83 worth of stuff! :]

    • Tricia

Good for you, that’s awesome! I am so jealous I do not have this store in my area.

  23. stephanie m

FYI, at my store the 2% Kraft milk slices were not part of the Kraft slices 2/$4 deal. They were $3.49 so with coupon they were $1.49. Not a terrible price but there have been enough cheese deals lately that I’m not willing to go for that price point.

  24. Stevie

can anyone tell me where to find the 1.00 off of 3 campbells soups coupon?
