The Limited is once again offering up $10 in FREE “Fashion Cash” through February, 20th! All you need to do is mention the promotion to an associate and they’ll give you the $10 in “Fashion Cash” to spend in-store. The bad news is that you cannot use the $10 “Fashion Cash” on sale items. …AND let’s just say the regular priced items are definitely on the expensive side.

Previously when they had this “Fashion Cash” promotion available, I headed to The Limited and searched throughout the store for quite some time and could not find anything at or close to $10. I looked at jewelry, belts, tank tops, shirts and almost everything was above $20 (except for sale items – which can’t be combined with the $10 “Fashion cash”). Finally, as I was about to give up, I came upon some hair accessories. I found the adorable hair clips (pictured above) regularly priced at $10.50, so ONLY $0.54 (which includes $0.04 tax) after the $10 Fashion Cash! Not bad! Now, who in the world would actually pay $10.50 for those hair clips… umm, I’m not quite sure. BUT for $0.54… I think they’re worth it! 🙂

(Thanks for the heads up on this promo, Mojo Savings!)

Good Morning Collin, I can’t find that hair clip 😀 …

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

They were from last summer. Now their hair accessories start at around $30. Don’t really see anything with little out of pocket.

Oh Darn! 🙁 They may no longer be available.

I love The Limited clothes, but you are right about it being expensive. At least in my store, they are so picky about what you can use coupons with that it almost becomes frustrating for me to even try anymore. My husband refuses to go in with me anymore because we both agree that the salespeople are rude and never want to help us. At first I thought it was the way I was dressed (comfortable weekend stuff), but I went after work during the week one time and was dressed very professional and was still treated awful.

Yeah snobby associates are the worst I don’t give my business to stores with them…..

Last fall when the fashion cash was available accessories were starting at around $15 for a few flower clips. They had clearances out the clips pictured. I doubt they will be there today.

You can check online before you go. They have a few earrings that retail for around $15. Not worth $5 imo, but someone may think so. The coupons should work on the regular sale merchandise, just not .99 ending items that are permanently marked down. The online code (fashcash) works with the 40% off shirt sale. The only coupons that will work on the .99 ending markdowns are the survey receipt coupons, virtual dollars, and friends & family.
I love The Limited too and do most of my shopping there. I have their credit card. Once you spend 800 you get free shipping on all orders. I do buy a lot from them though. The free shipping is nice with the $10 codes and the $15 off any purchase mailers that they always send out. Plus I don’t have to deal with their employee’s attitudes when using coupons :).

I think $5 for some of their earrings is a good deal because they have a lot of classic designs that can be worn with so many different outfits. I bought a pair of earrings my freshmen year of college for $3 (they were on clearance) and I wear them almost once a week since I bought them. So those of you guys that love jewelry like me you may want to stop in and see if you can find a good deal. They also run 2/$20 deals on all their jewelry sometimes.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Lucky if you can wear the fake stuff. Their earrings turn my ears green. No deal for me lol

It might help to paint the metal with clear nailpolish. That helps for me. I can only do gold without things turning green, so I nail polish the earring backings, etc.

I don’t see what store fashion cash is for. Am I missing it?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just go to a store and they are passing them out.

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It works on sale items if you use it online…

  7. wendy @ ramblings from the sunshine state

OMG, $40 for a pin that you can MAKE? Overpriced much?

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Also, I received the email and nowhere in the fine print does it say that it can’t be used on sale items. 🙂 It just can’t be used on markdowns. So, have fun with it!

Thanks! I’m headed to the mall today to roll the Macys deal-bought a pair of jeans for myself for $9.80 and gonna hit up another Macys to see if I can find more. Scan! The jeans were marked 19.99.

Fun day at the mall today.

Totally bummed, I found a shirt I REEEEEALLY want and they are out of my size 🙁 I am just going to sit here and pout now. LOL

I was in The Limited this afternoon and the fashion cash did NOT exclude markdowns. I was able to use it on a shirt that was marked down in the clearance section. The fashion cash also had printed on it “Does not exclude Markdowns”! I ended up paying 9.99 plus tax for a cute shirt!
