I’ve heard from quite a few of you regarding Colgate ProClinical toothpaste being on clearance. Lots of you have stated that you’ve found the Colgate ProClinical toothpaste on clearance for just $1.24 to $1.37 (normally $5.49!). Plus, there are $1/1 coupons available in the 2/6 SS, so as low as $0.24 after the coupon! I normally don’t post clearance deals like this, but since so many of you emailed about this clearance find, I thought I’d give you all a heads up!

**Note: If this toothpaste isn’t marked, you may want to do a price check.

Doesn’t seem to be the case in Sacramento. I went on Monday hoping to find this deal and it was still marked full price!!! Hope the rest of you find the bargain!

This was on sale at Publix for .99 Cents. I believe they still have them out on clearance because my store had the shelves full of them.

  3. Patty

My store in NY had St Ives bodywash on clearance for 1.99 and Sally Hansen nailpolish for 75 cents to name a few. I think there are coupons for these out there. Not sure if these are regional. It is always worth a long walk around CVS because there always seems to be hidden clearance goodies on each isle.

  4. heather

My coupon is for buy one get one free.

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

i seen $1.50 peelies for these are walmart… makes them free.

  6. Monica

My Publix has these for 99 cents!!!! Either one is a great deal!

  7. Deb

Never pay for tpaste-you can always get this free at the dstores.
Our stockpile is about 40 right now & never cost us anything(except tax in some cases).

    • mel

ditto. I get so much free, that I can’t see spending .25 + tax on a tube.

      • Mandy

How do you get free toothpaste? I usually get the .35 cents off in the sunday ads but even when that doubles I still can’t snag a tube for free. Any tips? 🙂

        • Krystal

CVS often offers toothpaste (usually Colgate, but they have Crest next week) for free or for 99cents after Extrabucks. If you have $1.00 off coupons it either makes it free or a money maker.

          • Mandy

smart 😉 thanks for the help!

            • mel

yep. This Sunday, Crest Pro Health tp is 3.29 w/$3.29 ECB back. Even if you don’t have any manf q’s, rolling ecbs, you get it free.

          • Jenny

Yep, mine is always free. I made .50 cents today on 2 tubes. (so $1 profit) I have some $1.50 of ANY Colgate. FREE!!! Love it! I share mine with family. It feels good to help everyone else out!

            • Mandy

THANK YOU for all the toothpaste ideas! Hip readers are the best!

Hi, I’m looking for a YJ amazon.com 20% off code. I would really appreciate it. I’ve shared a ton of $10 off codes that i couldn’t use(only one per account), and could really use a 20% off now.

I found them at Winn Dixie on clearance for $1.25. They also had other Colgate toothpaste on sale for .99. I got 4 clinical and two others for .50! I was SO excited!

  10. heather

Off topic, but I saw the Air Heads for 79 cent at Lowes Foods and they double coupons, so free with the 50 cent off.

  11. Pilar

Ha. This doesn’t surprise me at all: Got a couple when they first came out (free, of course!) and couldn’t get the darn tube open…needed to get pliers to get the inner seal off. Absolutely ridiculous…you’d think it was airplane glue. Just overpriced/smaller quantity tooth paste. I wrote and complained and ended up having to send the tube in for inspection. Got comped with coupons but not worth it.

    • Krystal

I used mine that I had in stockpile a few months ago, I didn’t care for it. I’ll get it if it’s ever completely free and give it away. I will not even pay 25 cents for that.

    • Christie

Did you turn the cap upside down and puncture the seal? That is how those are made!!,

    • Nicole Z.

I got a free sample of this toothpaste awhile back. I thought it was super gross! I am using it as a “polish” for my faucets and sinks, since I couldn’t donate it after it had already been opened.

      • Jennifer S

I had the same opening issue called them they sent a postage paid envelope along with lots of coupons.

  12. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

you are supposed to turn the cap upside down and it has a built in thing that removes the inner seal.

    • Pilar

Exactly. It didn’t work. It wouldn’t “catch”. Even my DH (a DDS, by the way) couldn’t get it to budge. It was not something he could ever recommend as way too complicated. Glad others’ worked!

      • davis

        I had the same problem!

Question about a toothpaste stockpile. I just started seriously couponing 2 months ago and we have about 10 tubes of toothpaste that were all free (except tax). I noticed there is an expiration date on each box which I’m not really worried about. I’m just wondering if the actual flavor of the toothpaste changes over time? I know 10 tubes of toothpaste isn’t a huge number, but it’s just myself and my husband using regular toothpaste right now. Our toddler still uses the safe to swallow toothpaste, and our youngest doesn’t have any teeth yet 🙂 Thanks for your help!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I called P& G about an expired tube of Crest and they said the flavor does break down, which is the only reason for an exp date. They said it was safe to use for years!!!! I rotate my stock and donate when the exp dates are close because I know there is always free toothpaste on the horizon 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

just a suggestion, all year long i collect extra freebies and put them in my shoeboxes for operation christmas child…it allows me to afford to put more “fun” stuff in the boxes as well as things they need 🙂

  14. Amiee

Does anyone know that price at Walgreens or Kroger? We don’t have a CVS in my area. Thanks

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Kroger has regular Colgate for $0.98 this week, so free after double $0.50 coupon

    • Jenny

Colgate I think has a register reward for next week. Full price. Wait until Sunday.

  15. Brittany

Walgreens also has free Colgate, so you can go to the most convenient store for you 🙂 Colgate on sale for 1.99, use 1/1 manufacturer q in diabetes & you magazine and 1/1 store coupon in feb. coupon booklet. The less anxiety inducing experience would be to go to Kroger, unless you don’t have any problems with your Walgreens store like most people do, LOL

  16. becca

Can i still print this coupon? im a newbie

  17. AMANDA

kroger had them for 1.00 a week ago….so free after coupon!

  18. Jolene

Not so here. I checked two different CVS stores; the price was 50% off or $2.49.

  19. Donna

Off topic, but I received my Weebles from Hasbro today, I was so excited, for a moment you would have thought that I was the kid instead of the Grandma!!! Thanks for all that you do and thanks to all of you for the comments they help too.

  20. angela fabian

rite aid had colgate sensitive paste on clearance for 94 cents and $1 off coupons came out in the paper not that long ago. I was able to get 2 free tubes.

  21. Kelli

Found this on clearance at my carrs for $1.99 and 50% off that so free with coupon.

  22. mimi-coolchick

Thanks Collin. I got 2 Cologate Pro-Toothpaste and 2 Purex with 20% more for $3.34. I am so happy!

  23. Heather

These were on mark down at Safeway for $1.99 and had a $2.00 peelie attached!

  24. Jamie

My cvs had these marked at 25 and 50% off. I did not need any toothpaste and did not think I had the coupon above. I did score a $15 Nexxus hairbrush for $1.24. I had the $3 Nexxus product coupon from a sample/coupon I received in the mail.

  25. wendy @ ramblings from the sunshine state

$1.22 at my store!! Of course, the machine did NOT give me the Nexxus OR baby wipe coupon 🙁

  26. shoplessjess

Aw, the blue pro clinical (clean mint? can’t remember the flavor/benefits) is a favorite toothpaste of mine. Maybe people complained because it can be tricky to open. Anyway, the flavor and the foam it produces makes it a step above normal toothpastes. I would definitely recommend snagging one if you see it.

  27. Sarah

    Hi all,
I have a question. I am a bit of a newbie at couponing at CVS. So today I went and got the toothpaste, it was the same price as in the picture 🙂 great deal. So I wandered around and found Nivea body lotion on sale (2.99 each) in the clearance section planning on using my $5 off 2 coupon but the women said while checking my things out said that I couldn’t use a coupon on clearance items. I was just wondering if that was true or not. I have used coupons on clearance items at walgreens I didn’t think that CVS would be any different………

    Thanks in advance 🙂

    • kidsallgone

Dumb cashier….find out when her /his day off will be and use another cashier.
      Or ask for the manager.
      Or shop at another CVS.
Or call corporate and they will contact the store/manager.
Return the item and re-buy it with your coupon. You are entitled!
The only issue I’ve run into at CVS is when the ad says that you will receive an ECB wyb certain makeup for a certain amount. If it’s reduced 75%, at my CVS the ECB does not print out (nor will they force one).
Happy shopping! Love my CVS 🙂

  28. brenda3

this was awesome, I bought the last 3 at 22 cents each……………AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE,,, in palm bay fl….

  29. hlmh
