Hmmm…kind of sucks. No 4 off 20? Boooooo!!!

    • Michelle

I know, why dont they just give everything away so we can all be happy? Right?

  2. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

wow not liking the new coupons!! no $4/$20 and the $2/$10 is only for what ever it on the coupon and no buy and save:( very sad

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Looking for Melissa from LA? Can you please email me at shoppingqueen225@yahoo(dot)com ???

  4. Emily

I’m sad, there’s no buy and save in march. 🙁 I really do love that program, since they’re taking away all of the 4 off 20’s , and 5 off 25 q’s, the buy and save really kept me shopping there. Hope they still have great deals, because they’ve put my expectations up in the last 2 months. 🙂

    • Lisa

      I agree, Emily.
Seems they could have weaned us off gradually. Maybe $3 off 20 or $2 off 10 of ANY purchase.
I realize they’d like to remain solvent but no need to throw the baby out with the bathwater. (Oh, dear. I sound like my grandmother).
Would rather see them set limits on purchases but don’t keep messin’ with the video values!

      • Emily

Yeah! I mean, i would be fine if they limited some of the free items. Like, people taking over 100 doves is crazy.

    • Stefany

I agree, the new $2/$10 almost isn’t worth watching the videos. Their deals have been great, just hope they stay that way!

    • NolaGirl

Log on to Riteaid.com and click on wellness+ online, you may find a pleasant surprise. I had a $5 off $25 in the wellness+ offers section.

  5. mel

There will be a deal on the Purex Crystal Beads week of 3/13 – $3.99 w/$1 +UP. There is supposed to be a $2 manf q in that weekends insert, so free with the VV! (or .99 if you have $1/1 coupon, it was in one of the magazines I was reading at the dr’s office the other day)

    • Emily

Sorry, Just wondering, are you a member of slickdeals? 🙂 Thanks!

      • mel

nope. I actually I prefer Hot Coupon World.

    • Stefany

How do you know these deals in advance? I would love a heads up asap on all drugstore deals!!

      • Bridgette

        checkout iheartriteaid.com for upcoming deals

        • Stefany

          Thanks!

          • mel

yep, I usually ck the Iheart sites (she does Wags, Rite Aid & CVS) I also ck Hot Coupon World, they sometimes have ads/matches up a week or so in advance.

  6. Julie

the week of 3/13 you can get 3 12pks of 9″ dixie plates for .91. Dixie is on sale for 1.97 ea.-$5/3 vvq =.91/3

    • mel

is that a good deal? You’re only getting 36 plates total. I get the 100ct paper plates at the dollar store for $1 or when Walgs has theirs for .79. granted, they are not dixie though…

      • tina

it is actually for 45 ct.. that’s what is pictured in the actual add. so 135 for less than a dollar pretty good deal to me

        • mel

hmmm….it says the VV is for the 12ct…wonder if its an error. Will have to wait until Sun to watch the video.

    • Julie

The ad shows the higher count but says dixie plates, cups and bowls. I am assuming that all sizes with be on sale. and Yes, IMO, the dixie plates are much higher quality then the thin paper plates from $ stores, so good deal for me. Hope that helps

I received an email from Rite Aid this evening asking me to complete a survey on the Gift of Savings program. It was quick and easy – only took about 5 minutes – but I made sure to point out that the January and February programs as well as the Gift of Savings were great incentives for me to shop at RA. Did anyone else get this email, or was I just randomly chosen? I’m hoping we can encourage them to continue these deals.

    • Emily

Ooh, no, I didn’t get that! Wow, thank you for saying they are incentives for you to shop at RA! 🙂 Hope that they do another one. Probably won’t happen for march, so at least for april? Love these programs!! 😉

    • NolaGirl

Got the survey, and after typing a couple of lengthy answers, they disappeared before I submitted them! I’ll redo the survey, but I’m not happy!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I also got that survey. I agree with you I said the same!

    • Bobbie

I also received this survey and let them know the Gift of Savings was an incentive for me to shop with them instead of other drugstores.

    • lilroysmom2

YES i recieved the same email. I was happy to inform them that all three of these recent promotions prompted me to continue to go back to rite aid each week and even multiple times a week 🙂

  8. mel

well, I think they are still figuring out what works for them in regards to all the programs. I heard they are possibly phasing out the SCR, and were testing the Buy/Save program as maybe a replacement. Yes, it was very nice incentive to get me in the store. But, I don’t depend on those extras, esp $/$$ offers. I learned my lesson when CVS stopped letting ppl share $/$$ coupons.

  9. Lydia

Yes, it is a bummer that we no longer have those high value coupons. I was a big fan of buy & save. But even with the changes, I feel they are better than Walgreens 😉

  10. LeeAnn

Video Values are great for those with an excellent internet connection. I can spend 15 minutes just watching one video and that’s with a high speed connection. So many coupons I have lost out on including the $4/$20 beauty coupon because it takes SO long. I wish Rite Aid would offer an alternative to the videos.

  11. Doa

I’m a newbie here, I watched the videos and the coupons are listed there. Is there a link where I can read how this Rite Aid program works?

  12. tiffany

Bummer!!! I just created a few new email accounts so I can watch more videos and get a few more $4/$20 VVQ’s. Hoping they come up with and stay with an incentive program.

  13. Beth

What I’ve heard from several managers that big changes are going happen if abuses of the programs don’t stop. This will hurt everyone. Examples what I heard complains about: woman using two accounts when it suppose to be one account per household. One or two women coming and wiping out all the store had of the special (the store had ordered a huge amount of that product for especially for the sale) and then all the women who wanted just one or two for their own use didn’t getting them.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I feel your pain Beth, there is a lady here who claims to have more than a dozen vv accounts, she wipes the shelves every saturday night and they hold her stuff until the sale starts the next week. crazy when the rest of us only want one or two. talked with a wag’s cashier yesterday and she does it at this store also. don’t know where some people get the guts to go around town and pull everything of the shelf in the first place, let alone persuading store personnel into holding items behind the registar before the sale starts. everyone knows her by name, doesn’t matter what store you go into, you mention her name and all the cashiers, other couponers, everyone, all know who i’m talking about. she tried to get one manager fired whos been with the company for over 16 years over a coupon, she’s always threatening. if anyone ruins it for rite aid, you can bet it will be the lady who lives in my town.

      • Megan

I think most if not all towns have one of those.. 🙂 it’s funny how the economy has sent some couponers into survival mode (hoarding mode) I just try to remember that if somebody clears the shelf, then they must REALLY need it more than I do.. Sometimes the greater need leads to unethical couponing. It’s great to have deals and save money but I have my family and that’s all that really matters when times are tough!

  14. amber

I think it’s the $/$ qs they are getting burned on. I don’t see why they don’t follow kmarts example and have customers sign up for the wellness card by showing I’d and linking the vv account to the card. That way, 1 account per person, no fudging it. I don’t want them to stop the awesome deals, it really helps my family.

  15. Lia

I love that you are posting these deals! I see that our product is listed wrong….Purex Crystal Beads are actually called Purex Complete Crystals. I would love to have you fix it if possible.

I would also love to have you think about joining the Purex Insiders. Feel free to email me with any questions lia@purexinsiders.com
