Isn’t Walmart suppose to honor Target printable coupons?

I was in my hometown Walmart, and they would not.
Being that I was not sure,I did not argue.

    • Gina

Walmart will value coupons if they have the amount of the product on them but not $ off or % off. So if there is a target coupon that says “$3 off Excedrin” They won’t take it. They will however take “Excedrin for $3” then they will price match for $3. I hope that this makes sense! 🙂

Nivea lip balm was marked down to $1.99 each and I had 2 coupons for buy 2 get $2.00 off paid only $3.96 for 4 lip balms plus the BOGO El Moterey coupons I ended up getting the 7 frozen things and got a $5 GC free great trip yay! Thanks Collin 🙂

    • Miriam

FYI- In case you wanted more Nivea lip balm and there’s a Rite Aid near you, there are on sale for $1 so I used the same coupons to get four for free.

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Excedrin.com has a 1$ coupon for both the migraine & extra strength.

  4. gina

Love these because I can also stack these at my local FRY’s toooooooooo right now.
    They accept competetors coupons.

  5. Craig

Sure wish that Orbit at SS would reset! Geeeze. lol

  6. kriss

What if the coupon printed from the Target site is a manuf coupon? No stacking I assume, but is there a way to tell if they are T or M coupons, before you print?
    Thanks!

    • Mrs.Hall

Just by setting your printer to do a print preview..but if you decide you don’t want that coupon after seeing if its a mfc or Target and cancel print..it counts as 1 or your 2 prints so make sure before you cancel if you really don’t want it 🙂

      • jmartcougar

        really helpful tip thanks!

I gave my Target the two coupons which would supposedly make the Excedrin free, and I was treated very rudely. Before I call corporate, is it true that they cannot take coupons for over the item amount?

    • Mrs.Hall

my store adjusts the coupon down. The register will adjust it itself and you will see it on the screen and on your receipt. I’m not sure if every store is different though.

    • Julie S.

I’ve found that it won’t beep or cause an issue if you hand over the manufacturer coupon first, and then the store coupon. I think the cashier still has to accept the coupon, because it seems like every single coupon of mine requires their input of “F1.”

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Coupon policy states they are to adjust it down. I’ve called corp before and they promptly called the customer service desk of my local Target and explained to the manager how it works.

  8. Mrs.Hall

I was gonna say..do any of you still have some of those Excedrin coupons we got awhile back? I think they expire late this month. They were both for either FREE or $3.50 off. I still have 2 of the $3.50 off so that would make it $6.50 total with these Target coupons. Anyone know how much the larger bottles are?

    • RWJ1018

I also have $3.50 off Excedrin, however mine are for Excedrin PM. The target coupon specifically states for Excedrin Migraine or Extra Strength.

      • Mrs.Hall

        drats

    • annie

      same question

  9. annie

does any know if I can stack a FREE Excedrin MQ with a Taget $3off Excedrin Q and make a $3 MM?

    • heather

Give the manq first . Then it should work

      • annie

Cool, I will try maybe on Mon then post the result here. Thanks Heather

    • Alea

I don’t think it will work at Target – since free coupons tend to match up right under the item on the receipt and they don’t allow coupon overage.

      • heather

I have used target coupons and free item coupons together with no problem .

  10. heather

I used my 3.50 off at cvs . Spend 20 get 10 ecb. I found pack of excedrin migraine with a sample of excedrin pm. Wasn’t sure if would work buy I asked the cashier said if the register takes it u can. It worked!!!!

  11. Rhonda

Does anyone have advice on printing the Target coupons? I can print every other coupon without issue but when I try to print Target’s coupons I get an error message. It says my printer is not compatible to print coupons, which isn’t true, because I print many many others. Is there something I need to download or a site I need to visit to make it work? Any advice would be very appreciated. I feel like I miss out on a lot of deals due to this hiccup. Thank you so much.

    • Mrs.Hall

just grabbing at ideas here. when I go to Target site..in the mid to low part of the left hand side it shows my “printer status” and shows my type of printer and says “Okay to Print” what does it say for you? Maybe you can adjust there or see if there is a troubleshooter list anywhere. I’ll look into it a bit more and see what I can find.

      • Rhonda

I copied and pasted the area on my screen where it tells me that my printer won’t work. I’ve tried deleting my printer and readding it. My printer is set to “print” not “fax” which was their only suggestion. I’m really at a loss.

        YOUR PRINTER STATUS
“Your current printer is not valid for printing coupons. Coupons are not allowed to be printed to PDF’s and other image or file based printer drivers. Please change your default printer to a normal printer using Windows Control Panel and then click the Detect Printer. Once a supported printer is selected as you default printer you can proceed with printing coupons.”
EPSON Stylus CX9400Fax Series NOT ALLOWED, PLEASE CHANGE.

        Change Printer

    • jmartcougar

Try a different browser. I have chrome and sometimes my coupons won’t print and I have to use IE 9.

  12. Marti Palmieri

I did not see the Benefiber coupon on coupons.com–what zip? I have tried several zips…

    • mel

I think they’re gone from there now. I know it was showing up for me last week, but I couldn’t print b/c I was out of ink. Of course, I have ink now and I can’t find them. But there is a $2/1 coupon in todays SS insert, so $5 off total makes the stick packs .79 after the stack.

  13. Elizabeth

Does Target accept BOGO Free printed internet coupons? I know that Giant Eagle (our grocery store) will not accept them, but some drug stores will (Walgreens). I haven’t tried to use these type of coupons at Target yet, so I don’t know…

    • Laura

I just used the BOGO El Monterey coupons at Target with no problems!

      • Elizabeth

        Thanks! 🙂

    • sofie

why do you always post pointless comments just to leave your link. You really need to stop using Collins blog to promote your site..

      • Leah

Wow, that was really rude. A lot of people link to their sites…who cares?

      • Amy

        Sofie:
I find a lot of Mitch’s comments to be very helpful, and there are plenty of people who post their website after their comment. If he was spamming the site and posting his link 10-20 times in a row it would be a different story, but he is just an avid reader like the rest of us and I think your comment is really very unwarranted. I read Mitch’s blog along with Collin’s and I personally love it. Maybe if you click on the link in his “pointless comment” you’ll get a giggle to brighten your mean mood. 🙂

      • Leah

Wow sophie you are so rude and such a suck up. Leave everyone alone and just clip your coupons

My Target has gotten rude here lately w/the coupons. This week I had one that beeped and the cashier rudely said “we cannot take this one”. I told her I had the product and she needed to override the register. She just kept saying “we cannot take this one”. Finally I told her to call the manager. She said “oh maybe I will just override the register”. Whatever! I could not believe I had stood up for myself and WON!

My wife and I went to Publix Saturday 2/26/11 and this is one of our scenarios. We purchased 10 BOGO Progresso soups for $2.39 and 16 Mentos Mints for a total of $30.39. Publix has a $5.00 dollar off $20.00 dollars and $1.00 off 2 Progresso soups both General Mills products, at publix.com, expires on 3-2-11. February 9th, the Wednesday paper had a $5.00 dollar off $30 dollars or more, expires 3-2-11. General Mills has $1.00 off four cans and Walgreens had a $.50 coupon off one can. After all the coupons our subtotal was $1.89 including tax. After the Walgreens competitor coupons, Publix paid my wife and I $8.11 overage! By the way, I have ways to obtain multiple coupon sections at no cost, so the coupon inserts were free.
