I have heard form numerous people that since CVS deals on saturday give you the best deal the PF make up will till be 40% off but not give you the 7 ECB! would have been nice!!!!
I actually just got back from CVS and didn’t even think about the 40% off sale. I had to go back in because I looked at my receipt and there was no ECB so they forced one to print. I guess they didn’t think about it either lol. but hey paid $8.09 for the bronzer, use the $6 coupon from the store machine and a $4 peelie from the product so I even got overage!!!
I went today and purchased the PF. I used the $6.00 coupon (from red machine…expired today) and got the 40% off. I also got the $7.00 ECB, but the sales clerk had to force the ECB to print. The store had the 40% off and the $7.00 ECB stickers on the product.
You’re not supposed to double dip on this deal… CVS determined the better of the deal is the 40% off and made so you cannot. Sometimes they allow you to have both occur, but usually it’s just the better of the 2. They shouldn’t have forced the ECB to print when that sale doesn’t start until Sunday. I did some research on this so I would know if I could do it this way, but found out stores no longer allow it. Nice of the stores to print the ECBs for you anyway though 🙂
I don’t think it was nice of them to force the ECBs thru when they posted on the product both the 40% off and the $7 ECBs on the product. I told the clerk before the transaction started that I was purchasing the product for the sale starting tomorrow. I didn’t care about the 40%. The $7 ECB was the better deal.
What order do you give a BOGO coupon and $/1 coupon (the clean and clear body wash deal for example) to the cashier to prevent beeping? Thanks!

I think the $3 coupon is for the Regenerist cleansers–at least the one in my insert is—and the sale looks to be on the daily facials line so not sure you could use that coupon.
There is a $3/1 Regenerist coupon (I think that’s what you are referring to), but that coupon is located in the 3/13 RP. The coupon in the 2/6 RP states – Save $3/1 Olay Facial Moisturizer or Cleanser… so this coupon should work. 🙂
i have the 1 off one olay facial moisturizer or facial cleanser i didn’t get the 3 off, you can use that coupon with the coupon insert in p&g which is buy one olay facial cleanser, get one olay bar soap, body wash or in shower body lotion free up to a 4.99 value exp (3/31), that would make the olay deal even sweeter.
Ooh, thanks for pointing that out! I had the same Regenerist coupon, but I did get a $2 Olay cleanser coupon in my 3/27 SS. That would mean $1.99 for both the cleanser and soap/wash.
My $3 coupon from 2/6 is specific for the Regenerist products. Maybe a regional thing?

I’m wondering if you get 3 visine (20.37 for three) Can you use three of the $2.00 of one Visine and then use 3 smartsource coupons for free soothing wipes when you buy any visine product….that would make a sweet deal IMO. 14.37 oop for three visine and 3 soothing wipes with a $5.00 EB.
At my CVS in central CA the soothing pads were $8.99 (I think, something around that price) so the coupon wouldn’t cover it all as the coupon is for up to $6.99. I looked today.
For the Halls Cough Drops and the $1 ECB. Its says there is a limit of 2. So, if I buy 2 and have a B1G1 coupon, would I get 2 ECBs?

Yeah Kristi, many (most) CVS start the next week’s ad on the Saturday evening before. My fab store starts at 2pm!!
A nice guy at my CVS says that on Saturdays both sales are in effect, the current week and the one that should start on Sunday.. I didn’t ask him the Sat start time but I was there at like 4 p.m. and he said it was going on then.
My store starts at 6pm Saturday.
