Be sure to print a copy and bring it with you when you shop in case any issues should arise. You can also now print Walgreens Instant Value Coupons online here. *NOTE: If you can find the monthly coupon booklet in-store, save your printer ink.

yay..now I can make my list…. 😀 i love the way you do your weekly deal Collin 😀

    • Collin

Thanks! And sorry for posting so late. My almost 6 year old had his first T-Ball game today. It was so much fun watching him play! 🙂

      • bellabimba

Family is first :D…and I love that… Nice..!! You don’t have to apology…. Your doing amazing… Yay!!!!!!

      • Barbie

aww so exciting!! both our boys are playing t-ball (5 & 7), thankfully they are both on the same team…makes it easier on mama 😉

      • Rose

no appologies necessary, I love it when we get the deals in the late afternoon. Lets us know your with the kids at a movie, or game, or just spending family time which should come first. I never even thought you had a time to have them posted by. Thank you for making our lives easier and being able to save money for more family adventures then otherwise be possible.

  2. Mitch

That Claritin deal is great, I am printing coupons right now.
And it seems they finally adjusted the Hershey’s deal to give an RR instead of Hershey’s coupons.
And with your permission, here is how to get Free Cream of Wheat – Walgreen’s has the 3 pack size for a dollar, my post has coupon links for the regular and the Cinnabon flavors. I scored 12 free boxes at Walgreen’s this way!
    https://www.gaynycdad.com/2011/03/b-g-foods-cream-of-wheat-polaner-maple.html
    thanks,
    http://www.gaynycdad.com

    • Bluemomrose

Plz provide the coupon link can’t find it on ur website. Thx

      • Holly

They’re at the bottom of the link to the article he provided. It’s the first of the two links in his comment.

    • Michelle

Thank you Mitch!! I will keep my eyes peeled for the $1 packs, but if I can’t find them, still a great coupon for something I need!!

    • Holly

Thanks, Mitch. I have never tried cream of wheat (and have never actually noticed it in stores, but that could be just because I’m not looking for it), so I will definitely be on the look out for this freebie. I’m curious as to what it tastes like!

    • Jim Carlson

Thanks, Mitch.. our family loves CofW!!

    • dropofrain

Mitch, I am not sure how you got those for free. Coupon is for 11 oz box or larger, it does not work for a 3 pk because they are only 3 oz. The larger boxes at our Walgreens were 10 pks for $3.99 (i should say “the larger box” because there was only 1 left on the shelf, LOL)

  3. bellabimba

Yay,, I forgot all about my Coke Zero Store and Manufacture coupon, The last time I made this deal, I recieved $2/1 Coke Zero Manufacture coupon instead of the store coupon. Same as the Mini Coke in can. 😀 yay!!!!!!!

    • Ashley

I got the Man. Also and not one that stated Store coupon. I was so mad. and didn’t notice till I used it and it only deducted 2.00 once and we looked at it and it said Manufacture. Its useless now. Its like the CAT just decided when to print Store coupon and when to print Man.:(

      • bellabimba

Yeah I noticed that but I have a store coupon also. Thats why it makes a great deal for me. And sorry to hear that.. I don’t know if your store will allow to use just the code. Because I can give you the code.

        • Sherrie

I love to try the code! Please and Thank you!

  4. Ashleigh

Biore also has some $1 off coupons… Makes it a $.01 moneymaker!! 🙂

    • bellabimba

actually I have $2/1off any Biore Skincare Cleanser. This is available like 3 or 4 days ago. So this would make a MoneyMaker. 😀

      • Ashleigh

Awesome!! I have 4 $2 off Biore Skin Preservation product… Doubt that’s the same thing lol 🙂

      • Rose

watch for pink rubber banded $3.00 off coupons on Biore steam cleanser.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I tried to use the 2.00 off a cleanser coupon at Walgreens( face book coupon) I think
with the buy strips get cleanser coupon. It beeped because the 2.00 wants to attach to cleanser and if they scan it the other way it beeps since cleanser will be free. Bummer!

    • Lisa

I read on a different blog that the Biore B1G1 coupon is coded to attach to both products so you can try to use a $ off coupon also but it may beep!

      • Tricia

I did this deal this morning and they took them both. she scanned the bogo first then the 2/1. I think “technically” the pore strips are a cleanser. They clean your pores right?

  5. Ashley

not to much going on this week, but better then last week.

  6. bellabimba

Collin, there’s a $2/1 Biore coupon that we printed out like 3 days ago.
Buy 2 Biore Skin Care products $5.99 each = $5 RR
Buy Biore pore strips 6-14 pk $5.99
Buy Biore cleanser 5 oz $5.99
Use the Buy 1 pore strip product get a cleanser Free coupon found in the 3/6 SS
    Pay $5.99
    Get back a $5 RR
    Final cost $0.99 for both!
Using the $2/1 coupon this would make a moneymaker. 😀

  7. laura

Can’t find the pepperidge farms coupon. What zip code?

    • Jenny

I can’t find it either. Anyone know what zip code works for the goldfish? Thanks!

    • CoffeeB

I can’t either…or can I find the candy coupon Snickers cream egg coupon.

    • Collin

Darn! 🙁 I just checked and it looks like the Pepperidge Farm coupon is no longer available.

  8. LInda P.

I agree. I view many sites, but your site is the only one I find easy to follow. Thank you for all you do for your fans.

    • bellabimba

That is very true. I really love the way she do the weekly deal. 😀

    • Collin

You are so welcome, Linda! 😀

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes i totally agree, I follow many sites too; and Collin’s is the absolute easiest to follow. Makes my couponing life so much easier!

  9. bellabimba

BTw, How many Insert you guys get this Sunday newspaper? I got 3 inserts 😀 yay~`

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I am way new at this and am wondering how you get your paper early? Do they sell them on Saturday too? Thank you.

      • jmartcougar

Here in Houston we can get the Sunday newspaper on Saturday I get mine at walmart

      • bellabimba

Yes. The Sunday newspaper usually comes out on saturday. HTH.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I have never been able to find the Sunday paper early here in Ohio. I think it depends.

  10. Zack

The ad says limit 6 on the Snickers Eggs. I am not sure if it would beep if you try to buy 7 in one transaction, but if the cashiers are aware, they will probably not let you.

    • Melissa

Very rarely have I come across a Wags that abides by the limits. I did this same deal a few weeks ago and the 7th one rang up .29 too.

      • Zack

Good to hear! My luck will be that my Wags rejects the 7th… We’ll see tomorrow!

        • Jenny

All 3 of my wags stick to limits strictly.

          • Holly

            Ditto.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Last time there was a limit on sale items I was told It’s not that you cant buy 7, it’s just that the 7th one will be full price. Be careful!!

    • Heather W

Did it this morning and it worked perfectly. 🙂

      • Candice

did the coupon beep when you bought 7?

        • Veronica

I purchased 14 of them in one transaction and used (1) $2.00 off 2, and (2) $1.00 off 2, they were all .29cents and the coupons didn’t beep. I paid the .30 for all of them. I didn’t clear the shelf. LOL

  11. Amber

There was also an online coupon from a few weeks back for $4/4 on the chex mix if anyone else didnt use theirs yet!

    • karolyn

My local IGA has a sale this week! $4 off 4 and fruit snacks were included as part of the deal. Betty crocker fruit snacks were on sale for $2 each with in store coupon wyb 4 it was $1 each add manufacture coupon and it’s free! I scored 16 boxes free. The shelves were loaded and there were tons left after my purchase.

      • Tracey

The $4/4 Chex Mix/Bugles/Fruit Snacks coupon can also be used on a bag of Bugles from the Target $1 section. Free Bugles!

  12. Catherine Bennet

    Thanks! Made my list already!

  13. christine

I was wondering from Collin or bellabimba where you were able to print the $2 off Biore product. Thanks for all you do. All of you! lol

  14. Elizabeth

I have a $2 off 1 Luster 7 toothpaste coupon in my binder. I’ve had it for awhile, but I remember it coming in the mail. It was either in a free sample or I signed up on the manufacture website for coupons. You may want to check your binder to see if you have it too.

  15. anna

luster coupon 4/3 ss was this regional? cant find it in my pile and on any of any coupon clip sites..

    • Melissa

Insert coupons are regional. Not everyone gets the same coupon, and even values can be different. I can’t ever go by the previews, b/c my inserts never match whats listed.

    • Lisa

      I don’t have it either. 🙁

      • Jenny

Yes. I get our local papter and the Dallas or Huston paper. The Dallas or Huston papers have at LEAST 10-20 MORE coupons in them and they are usually .25 cents to .50 cents higher in value!!! Buy the bigger city papers if you can find them. My Exxon carries both.

    • Megan Miller

It took me about five times looking through my smart source to find that dang coupon. But I got it! I am in WA state.

      • cindy

I’m not sure about others but I thought that the Luster White was really bad tasting. I now advoid it -even when it’s free. lol.

        • Jande

I agree it is horrible! We almost threw it out it was so nasty!

  16. mary

    Thanks Collin!

  17. Pinky

Has anyone heard anything about the chocolate peeps being on sale here next week. I thought I read that under comments for the peeps coupon and was wondering if anyone had heart it confirmed.

    • Collin

      Hi Pinky,

Peeps (4-5 packs) are on sale 2/$1 with in ad coupon starting tomorrow, however, I’m not sure if the chocolate variety is included in this sale.

      • Pinky

Finger’s crossed lets hope! I have not had to actually buy any Easter candy this year for my daughter’s basket. What a blessing since we are on a strict budget right now!

        • Melissa

No, the bigger packs of chocolate covered peeps were not on sale. The singles are 2/$1.50 (or .79 each). I went ahead and bought them, as it came out to .25 each.

          • Pinky

That’s not bad at all. I mean if i pay 25 cents after getting tons and tons of candy fro free, that’s just not a bad deal at all.

  18. Lpmousse

You are so amazing, Collin. Your site really is the most exhaustive and easiest to read of all the sites I log onto. I love the red deals too, highlighting especially cheap or free products. So helpful! And I hope that your son’s team did well, and that you had a wonderful time at his game.

    • Collin

I did have a wonderful time… that age is just so fun to watch! They are all so darn cute! 😉 And thanks so much for the feedback on Hip2Save! I really appreciate it! 🙂

    • Cyndella

I absolutley agree. This the the very first site i go to every week to check for deals. Awesome work Collin!!!!

  19. Carie

I have a general Wags coupon question: If I am buying two things and the coupon I am using is $1/2 and I want to use a RR to pay for the two items…do I need a filler item? I read somewhere that if the coupon was $/2, etc. that it would attach the coupon to each of the items. Can someone confirm? Thanks!

    • Momof2

Yes you would need a filler item because the $1/2 coupon would attach itself to both items.

    • tilla

in my experience, you do not. I was using coupons for 1.50 off 3 and didn’t need fillers

    • inthecar

I have needed fillers on occasion, so keep a few cheapies in your basket just in case.

    • Angelia

I hand coupons over in this order:
      Manufacturer coupon off ONE item
      RRs
Manufacturer coupon off TWO or more
      Store coupons
only on a very few occassions have I had one beep.

      Hope that helps

    • Heather

Ive had the same question and the one time I used a $1/2 I did need a filler.

  20. elizabeth

I went to do this past weeks deals at Walgreens this afternoon and every subsequent coupon beeped. First she tried to tell me one per purchase meant I had to buy them separately. When I explained it meant one coupon per item she double and triple checked my items, had to call a manager to push the coupons through. I felt very extreme couponerish, and I was only getting 4 packs of paper towels, 2 bags of m&m’s and 2 packaging tapes. Never mind her attitude. I wonder why they would all beep?

    • Sherri

I had a very bad experience with coupons at walgreens this week too. I was purchasing the 2 lysol neutra air, and 2 packing tapes. Had 2 $1.50 lysol coupons and 2-$1.00 packing tape coupons, plus the in ad coupon for the tape and the april booklet coupon for the lysol. The register beeped with every single coupon. Same scenario as yours, manager was called over and said there was nothing they could do. He told me that the store/in ad coupons now count towards your item total and I would have to get more items to purchase them to use my coupons. I pulled out the coupon policy and showed him where it stated manufacture coupons and register rewards count towards the coupon total but that the in ad/store coupons never have. He told me that was the way he was doing it NOW and that from now on this is the way that it would be. I just cancelled the transaction, got my coupons back and left the store. There was a HUGE line of people behind me glaring making comments, so I didn’t have time to mess with it. He was really rude and mean. I will never go back to that store ever again. Has anyone else had the same experience with the manager telling them that store/in ad coupons now count towards the coupon total? I’ve never had a problem before this.

      • Lisa

Seriously, I don’t like walgreens at all. It is almost a waste of your time. I have NO problems at rite aid, but always have an issue with walgreens. Last week it wasbthe edge shaving cream. Beep every time. It was the EXACT image as the one on the coupon. The cashiers just stare at it, like no what am I suppose to do. Then I tried 3 times for the assie/ BYGO coupon. Three different senerios…shampoo/ hairspray, hairspray/hairspray, etc. tried with the same brands then with the two different brands. Beep everytime, item not found. I was like, just give me the coupons… I am done. Half of the manu. coupons are not in the system, it is a headache. I will just now and do a couple of moneymaker scenios or a few deals, but I won’t be planning a day around it. Rite aids around us are awesome! So it is rite aid or bust for me

        • Anonymous

The problem with the Edge coupon had to do with the Manufacturer, not Walgreens. Mine still pushed the Qs through with no problem.

      • Kristin

I think that it is there new scanners. Every coupon I have beeps, even RR. It is very annoying. The manager was wrong, but I am sure that you could not reason with him.

        • Erin

They do have new scanners, My checker had to enter most of the coupons manually because of it. Even worse, I got home and realized that two of my coupons didn’t get entered, so I paid $2 more than I should have. Grrr!

          • Kristin

I am sorry. I would be really mad too. Don’t give up though.

          • Jenny

Same thing happened to me to! I paid $2 more because some coups didn’t go thru! That’s what I get for not paying attention! *sigh* All my RR’s beep EVERY time.

        • jennifer

The edge coupon beeped for everyone I think. My cashier pushed it thru because it was clear I bought the right product. Ever since their new scanners its a pain shopping there. Almost every coupon beeps and then I get looked at weird like Iam trying to cheat them. The rr’s almost always have to be typed in. And add in there new 2 transactions per customer per day rule thanks to the shelf clearers.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Kristin, Erin and anyone else with the new scanners, Have them fold the coupon at the bar code. Separate the two bar codes and scan the ones that start with the 5. The problem is the new scanners scan both bar codes which make it beep. Fold them and they should go through just fine. HTH

      • Janette

My store has always counted a wags coupons toward the limit. If I have an man coupon a rr and a wag coupon I have to have three items. I had no idea it was suppose to be different.

        • Ashley

That’s not right. The coupon policy clearly states (copied and pasted) “When purchasing a single item, Walgreens accepts one manufacturer coupon and applicable Walgreens coupon(s) for the purchase of a single item, unless prohibited by either coupon offer.” The coupons in the Walgreen’s ad are in-ad coupons, not a man. coupon. So, from the statement above, it makes it clear that more than one coupon is allowed for one product as long as there is only one man. coupon. Hand over the man. coupon first, in-ad coupon, then the monthly book coupon last to avoid beeps. If you hand over the monthly one first, it will look at it as a man. coupon and will not let the other one go through. I work for Walgreens, and I know for a fact that you can use one man. coupon, one in store coupon, and one monthly coupon per item. Just make sure you have the coupon policy with you and hand over the coupon in the right order and things should hopefully go smoothly, sorry some employees aren’t too friendly.

          • Ali

” If you hand over the monthly one first, it will look at it as a man. coupon and will not let the other one go through.”

Not always, though, right? I am almost positive that my cashier scanned the monthly Scott paper towels Q before my man. Q last night. I always try to hand the man. Q first, and only the cashiers who are always unhappy to see me anyway give me grief over it, I guess some are instructed to make sure they use the wags Qs first to avoid the scenarios where customers get more money back for a B1G1 than they’re paying for the purchased item. Last night, however I had such a wonderful cashier at my favorite Wags! Everyone I’ve encountered there has been happy for me for my deals, and super helpful and excited about how much I was saving. Last night’s cashier even told me she wishes she could do more to help people save, but all she can do is make sure she catches every Wags coupon for them. I’m there at least once a week, often twice or more, and I consider it “my” Wags. Especially when I’m reading some of the horror stories on here, I feel really lucky that I finally found “my” Wags, after searching every one anywhere near my house.

            • Ashley

I worked for Walgreen’s as a cashier for over 2 years and I always took the man. coupons first and then the monthly coupon books, and at the store I worked at I never had a problem, but when I would take the monthly coupon first followed by the man. coupon, it would beep. If you see that they are looking through to scan Walgreen’s coupons first, I would hand your coupons to them one by one. That way they are in the right order and hopefully no beepage. I’m glad to hear that you have been able to find a store to call “My Walgreen’s!!” That’s always great.

      • Tracey

I had the same exact transaction with the Lysol and the 3M tape along with the coupons which of course beeped. So they called over the manager and she took one look at my coupons and very rudely told me I could not use the Wagreens coupon from the April booklet along with the Lysol manufacturers coupon. So I showed her the Walgreens coupon policy where it says you can but she told me that the you can only use the Walgreens coupons in their weekly ads with a manuf. coupon, but not from the monthly booklets because the manufacturers back those coupons and they state on the coupon that it is “not valid with any other offers”. The 1st coupon for the tape went through no problem, the second one beeped. So we tried it in a separate transaction and still could not get it to work! So I left with no Lysol and only 1 tape! Also a couple of weeks ago I had problems with the Right Guard Body Wash B1G1 Free coupon on the B1G1 Free sale. They would not let me use my coupon. So frustrating!!! I just started going to CVS two weeks ago and they seem to be much more coupon friendly!! They even offered to give me rainchecks on the items they did not have in stock and wrote the ECB’s on the raincheck!

        • Tricia

My WAGS is pretty awesome. They are VERY coupon friendly and so are the managers. In fact, I had the manager tell me once that he tells his people that they are the same thing as $$. My transaction this morning had 8 items. I used 7 mq’s and 3 wags q’s. So in my store, they do not count.

      • Leisa

I would contact someone on there website. I would think policys r made up for all stores amd as a manager should abide.

      • Clara

Make sure you email corporate from their official website. This way the people that actually made the coupon policy will see that your store is not honoring it.

      • Josi

Yes, today I had a manager tell me I would not get a RR if I used a coupon for the same iitem. He apologized and said this was the new wy. He forced it anyways, when he saw I was not happy with how the transaction was going. I expect to have more problems with this in the future:-(.

    • ellekd

Similiar thing happened with me today at Dollar General. It was the first time for me to use Q’s there though thanks to several months of Hip2save I consider myself fairly savvy with the restrictions, etc. Making a pretty small purchase of about 10 items, a couple had 2 Purex and the Fantastic I was getting 4. Far from extreme. Cashier told me “I hope you know you can only use 1 Q and have to pay regular price for any extra’s. Ended up telling her I guess I’ll just take 1 of each so when the Manager was “bothered” to have to void the items already rung up He totally embarrassed me in front of the few other customers present. Loudly said I should read the Q and it say’s right there 1 Q per purchase????Even the older man behind me said I should read them before coming in the store! Wasn’t combined with any other Q and I read them carefully. Wanted to crawl in a hole. Seems everybody was giving ME dirty looks and he literally yelled at me. Have a customer case # filed with corporate and will see if anything comes of that. It really ruined my day and I know I shouldn’t let it……

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

That’s awful they treated you that way. I hope something becomes of your call/report to corporate.

      • Donna

I’m so sorry you were treated like that. One coupon per purchase means one coupon per item! You should have been able to use one coupon per item, because you are purchasing each one, they call it one coupon per purchase.

      • Bee

Dollar General has always been like this. I don’t go in there very much even though the store near me is very nice.

And actually, I’m beginning to wonder if manufacturers actually do mean “purchase” as a synonym for “transaction”. Supposedly coupons are now getting more specific coding on them and registers at all stores are being upgraded. Last night I used 2 coupons for “Save $2 when you Buy 2 multi-pack bottles coke products and 2 Planter’s products.” I bought 4 of each in accordance with the requirements. The first coupon sailed through. The second coupon beeped. She looked at it and forced it through, but it had to beep for a reason.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this isn’t something the manufacturers are trying to implement. Of course they would have to get the stores to stop pushing coupons through but at Dollar General heck would freeze over before they would push a Q.

      • Sarah

Next time, just calmly say, “Okay, I’ll pay for them each separately then!”

    • katie

I read somewhere that the $1 off tape coupon was coded for $1 off two, so that is why it was beeping. Not sure about the others.

    • Heather

Yep I had a beep on the tape coupon, but only one of them. How can that be? And yes I think their new scanners are not good at all. Also my Wags cashiers thing they have to curve the coupon and move it in front of the scanner until it goes. I think they should just hold it still until it goes. Makes for a lonnnng check out.

      • Priscilla

I had the same issue with the tape. I did it at 2 different stores today (well actually yesterday). The first time, the cashier just said that the 2nd $1 off coupon wouldn’t work. She said she didn’t know why. So I just said OK. Then I did it again at a different store and the manager was actually working the cashier. He tried the 2nd coupon a couple of times and it kept beeping and he finally just overrode it.

BTW, he looked through the coupons I gave me and pulled out all the store coupons to scan first. He said something about it being happier that way. Is that really true? I’m sorry that I don’t recall who posted it but someone in these comments said that they gave the store coupons last. What is the reasoning behind that?

        • Jen

They say to do the store coupons last because you can get overage toward the rest of your purchase sometimes, doing it that way. However, my Wags WON’T take the man Qs first – you HAVE to do the store Qs first. They will actually take off all the coupons and re-do them to do the store Qs first if you try it the other way.

          • Ashley

I would complain, no where in the policy does it state in which order the coupons need to be taken.

  21. Lisa

I look forward to your list every week. Lots of other blogs have Walgreens lists, but yours is the best and the one I go to! Thanks!

    • Collin

      Thanks, Lisa! 🙂

  22. sleahy

ive had trouble with coupons beeing at my wags, and the cashiers are all jerks about it. Does anyone know if the snickers eggs with the coupons will beep if i buy 7?

    • inthecar

No, the coupon did not beep when I used it the last time they were on sale.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I had a problem using it at Target but no problems using it at Walgeens. 🙂 It beeped at Target but not at Walgreens.

    • Heather W

Didn’t beep for me when I went this morning. 🙂

      • Candice

thx i asked you above lol

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I bought 14 eggs in one transaction today and used 2/ $1.00 of 2 and 1/ $2.00 off 2 in the all you magazine and it all went through with no problems

  23. mary

there is a vitamin and supllements walgreens coupon booklet has a 1/1 mega red coupon

  24. Leandra

I LOVE Hip2Sabe AND walgreens! Thanks for ALL you do Collin, my face blog by far!

  25. Lisa

You always have the BEST Walgreens list out there!! Thanks so much! 🙂

  26. KB

So if I have the $4/4 coupon for the chex mix…what would my deal be? Buy 4 bags for $6 and then subtract $4 off that? I stink at math. Is that even a good deal?!?!?! Hahahha.

  27. ellekd

Different store but are there anymore Walmart moneymakers out there?. Almost got burned on the Similac, which I love the ease of for the 8m old early riser. Clerk said I couldn’t get $ off an item that cost less, asked if she was aware of new policy and could she please get a manager. She said “I don’t care what it says, you can’t buy something for $3 and get $5 off….of coarse the young customer service “manager” agreed, even after lookng at his policy. Thought I was getting a %off my cart total and they don’t allow…blah, blah. Told her nicely to void it, went to my car, 3yr old saying “but where’s our stuffffff”, got the policy and showed him exactly what I tried to explain. He agreed, and instead of being out $30 it cost $5 and change, really helped, Hubby laid off. Moral of the story is The coupon policies for all stores……DON’T forget to take it with ya! Love your site Collin, you and all the members are so helpful. (can’t believe I’m still blue over the DG fiasco)

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

ellekd…….I have the two Similac coupons from last Sunday. I can mail them to you if you want them. Leave me your email address and I will contact you.

      Kayla

    • Donna

I have Similac coupons from last Sunday, too. If you leave your email address I will contact you and mail them to you. I know how hard it is when your hubby is laid off.

      • ellekd

Everyone is so nice for their concern. Last week I shared some of the extra Amazon codes I had and as I’ve told my older sons, Do what’s right and it will come back to you, Do wrong and it will come back @ you 5 times. (LOL) I have no idea where that # came from but they took it to heart, God Bless Them! ellekd@msn.com

    • elizabeth

If you have the $3 off secret clinical still from home mailers and the ebony mag, it does not exclude travel sizes. Its $2.57 at my walmart. Same inserts etc had a Head and Shoulders shampoo $2 off that did not exclude TS and it is $.97 at walmart so you get 1.03 for each. I’ve started saving all my inserts because I’ve been missing out on so many MM at walmart! Good luck- I know first hand how tough things can be right now with lay offs.

  28. Lanvy

What zip is the Mars coupon $1/2? I don’t see it when I pull up the link.

    • Lindsey

      I couldn’t find the q either. 🙁

    • Heather W

It might be gone now. 🙁 It is in this weekend’s paper also if you picked that up. 🙂

  29. klink

The last time I used one of the Coke Zero coupons on multiple 12 packs it only deducted $2.00. They told me it was a fluke as the coupon states 2.00/1 and it probably got fixed. It worked fine for me several other times before that on multiple packs.Hopefully others have more luck.

  30. Brittany

Thanks Collin! If any of you guys did the Charmin deal at Target, don’t forget about your 2.00/1 pampers q’s to save even more 🙂

  31. amochamommy

Heads up for dial soap lovers!! ***there were $1.00/1 any dial body wash (exclude trial size) peelies in Target yesterday*** making these $2.00 each if you have 2 coupons!

  32. Christy Mayo

Can I use the $5 RR from last week’s Pamper’s deal on this week’s deal & still get a $3 RR since they are different deals?

    • Melissa

No. The wording on P&G catalinas state they cannot be used on other P&G products.
(although I have read that if the RRs are different amount, using $5 to get $3 RR back **might** work, but I don’t take a chance now. I did a deal a few months back and my RR did not print, cashier couldn’t figure out why, so when I called Catalina, they told me if I used a P&G RR to purchase P&G items, any RR deal associated with P&G would void the RR from printing)

    • debra

the catalina clearly states it is for your next pampers purchase. i did this deal numerous times and the catalina is rolling. received a new rr every time using the rr from the prior transaction. hth

  33. EricaSue10

I am a new couponer and I live in Richmond, VA. The Richmond Walgreens are piloting a point system instead of a registry rewards system. So I don’t get any of the registry rewards that you all get. 🙁 I bought the toothpaste this week and I got 20x points instead of a 2.99 registry reward. Does anyone know how the points work?

    • Lisa

Go here: https://www.walgreensrewards.com/ to read about them. From what I’ve heard on other blogs, people aren’t happy about the points program. I know I hope my store sticks with the RR or I probably won’t shop there anymore.

      • EricaSue10

Thanks for the link. I’m not happy with the points either. I will stick to CVS and Riteaid.

    • dreamofsavings

yeah is sucks for us here is richmond. I do match ups for walgreens and it’s all points points points. Ugh!

  34. stacia

I have Some $1 off carefree catalina coupons that i got from walgreens a few weeks ago. Wondering if i could use those and still get the RR. I think so because the cashier will have to adjust it down to 99cents anyway. Im crossing my fingers that iit works 🙂

  35. Stephanie

I have a question about the huggies wipes deal, if I go to my walgreens and get the wipes and the vinegar will I have to buy “filler” items? Thanks so much I am fairly new to this.

    • Melissa

IDK?? What do you plan on buying and what coupons are you going to be using?

  36. Sally

Hi i was wondering, if i were to buy 3 of the carefree in 1 transaction would all three rr’s still print out? Or would i have to do seperate transaction to get the rr’s ? Thanks in advance! 😀

    • HersheyGirl

No, you will have to buy them in three separate transactions in order to get three RRs. If you buy all three in one transaction you will only get one RR. Hope this helps! 🙂

  37. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

walgreens has a new policy its called just say yes…. we are supposed to take any coupons we possibly can and even if they are expired within five days… also as a walgreens employee when ever you ring up your stuff go to cosmetics they are usually more willing to work with you plus they send us free samples all the time be nice and maybe you will score.

    walgreens employee.

    • debra

OMG! Maybe that explains my super nice cashier today! Normally she is absolutely awful, condescending and rude! Today she was sooooo nice! Even pushed a couple coupons thru that were beeping for no reason! And yes they were beeping for no reason, even the manager looked at them and said he didn’t know why they were beeping. Had a great day at Wags today and I usually can not say that! Loved the snickers candy deal! Bought 45 snickers eggs for my son’s class easter egg roll! They had a ton of them so saved me a trip to numerous Walgreens as I never clear the stock!

For anyone looking for easter basket stuffers they also have the Hot wheels cars BOGO for $1.29. Great price!

  38. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

also if there is any problems call corporate or do they customer service survey… corporate see’s it and make the store manager correct it… but if u like the service please no the survey as well in a positive note it really helps…

    • Stacey F.

Or use the contact form on their website. I had an issue with thier friends and family discount. I filled the form out that night and the store manager called me early the next morning. They are definetly looking and listening to their customer complaints!

  39. Anonymous

For the Biore deal, there is $2 & $1 off coupons in some of the boxes & there were $2 printable coupons a while ago. Those can be used with the BOGOF coupon to make it a MM!

    • franfran

I also wanted to know if I have a buy one get one free for the Biore, can i then use a $2.00 coupon for the one I am paying for?? Thanks for everyones help..

  40. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hey collin i have a question? how many of the all you magazines do you get every month? there always seems to be deals on them and just wondering what a good number to get? 🙂

    • Collin

Hi Lindsey, I have a total of 2 All You magazine subscriptions, so I get 2 magazines a month! I always put most of the coupons in the magazine to good use! 😀

  41. Brooke

Does anyone know for the Pampers deal at Wags, they are running the $2 off your next Pampers purchase when you spend $10 (or $5 off $20 purchase), as well as this week 2/$18 with a $3 RR. Will you get both printed? Also, I have a previous $5 off your next pampers purchase, will that stop the printing of either of those coupons, the RR and/or the $2 off your next pampers purchase?

    • debra

I used my $2 off from the last deal and it is rolling. I still received another $2 off your next purchase. I also used the $2 from the Infant care booklet and 2 Manufacturer coupons. I plan on rolling this deal all week using the luster white toothpase and the carefree liners plus the pencils for fillers!

      • Brittany

Bought 2 packages diapers 2/18, I used 2 pampers 5.00 off that printed with my diapers purchases last week and the walgreens infant book coupon which took 4.00 off. Paying OOP 2.00 each pack but it still generated a 2.00 pampers coupon and 3.00 RR. So it made last weeks not so great deal, this weeks fabulous deal!

Debra are you saying you used the 2.00 catalina and 2.00 mq in the same purchase?? Isn’t that using 2 q’s on the same product?

  42. Ariel

I was wondering if anyone is having the same problem as me with the old spice coupons…. They are buy one get one 50% off. I had a coupon for $1 off two and buy one get one free. The cashier made me pay full price for the one and gave the half price one to PG. I went to the photo counter and got the manager and explained that i should have paid for the half price one and gotten the full price one for free. she said they couldn’t do that because then i would be getting them for “too cheap”. so they would rather give their sale price to PG than to their customer. I was left soooo mad!!!

That is how my local wags handles the situation. On a B1G1 coupon, the free product is always the less expensive one.

I may be misreading, but if you are buying only 2 items you would not be able to use a $1/2 and a BOGO coupon. You can use a $/1 and a BOGO for two items. HTH

Do any hip2savers have extra .50/1 or .75/1 coupons forthe Huggies baby wipes deal? If so, please email me as I am in need of a few! Csufgrad@gmail.com

just a side note…I have made several friendly comments about considering other couponers and not clearing the shelves and gotten lots of negative responses. So this morning I go into my local Walgreens to find EVERY deal cleared already by the same person. Then when I go to use my RR I am told the manager will no longer allow anyone to use RR’s with “filler” items…. (ie I was purchasing Red Bull 8.99 and two pencils .29/e, had RR’s of 4, 1, and 1, and was not allowed to use the two $1 RR’s. She said is was SOLELY due to this extreme couponer running 10-15 transactions at once, clearing the shelves, and being rude when they tried to limit transactions on her that they changed their “rule”. Just an example of how when you are not careful how you handle these situations (breaking them up, going to the end of the line) etx. you can ruin it for everyone.

      Laura,

I’m sorry that you have to deal with this type of person clearing the shelves at your store. I feel that the Extreme Coupon show on TLC only condoned this instead of making it clear that you should leave some of the deals for fellow shoppers. Here’s hoping that your store will reconsider, and simply limit the number of items that this particular woman can buy, not the amount that the rest of you can buy.

I agree 100% with you on this one!! The cashier at my walgreens was telling me about this lady that had over 130 transactions that took over 7 hours to ring up!! I was like why on earth would you waste that much time at walgreens??? Maybe this is why I go on Sunday but never get everything on my list. I like to get the good deals but for all those people on the Extreme Coupon I just want to say at some point your going to have to stop because you won’t be able to keep up with using all that stuff before it goes bad. Plus you may never have to buy toothpaste again but some things you hardly ever get coupons for like fresh fruit. I try to give all my family as much fresh fruit as possible because they love it and it’s good for them but I almost always have to pay full price for it.

I think the CVS card system that limits how many of one item you can buy is a better idea. Of course, some people try to abuse this too and have multiple cards, but hopefully that can be tightened up too (showing ID or something!). I don’t understand why some people act the way the do either. At Walgreens yesterday, the young boy checking me out said that he was yelled at last week by a shopper who was upset that a coupon deal didn’t go the way she wanted. Really!!! Why yell at a high school kid? Some people are way too obsessive.

    Hi Collin!
I was wondering if I am able to use the $21.99 in-ad coupon on the Enfamil formula along with the $2 off coupon from the Infant Care booklet? I have some $5 off coupons that came in formula samples from my pediatrician, so if I’m able to use all the coupons I could get it for $14.99, which is great! I have 8 month old twins, so I’m going through one large container of formula every 3 days, so I stock up when I see a good deal!
Appreciate the feedback! Love your site!

I can’t find the 1.50 off the Luster White from the 4/3 ss. Am I going crazy?

I remember seeing somewhere on here a while back that at either Walgreens or CVS you could get the next weeks sale prices the Saturday before? Could someone tell me which store it is? Also, Do the RR or ECBs print out? Thank you!

    • KB

Check with both your stores to see when the sales switch over…every store is different. But the RR and ECB do NOT print until the starting Sunday. You can grab all your other deals that don’t include those early though!!!

I just left my local store and wa unable to do the wipes deal, because they had gotten rid of thier copy of the infant care book because people were useing the coupons more than once. I understood ti that the coupons in those books were the same at the other walgreens ones and worked from more than one item. Has any one else had problems with this, or has any advice on what i can do, My store never got books to give out so they had the one that they got from a different store that they were letting us use. I dont even know how to get a book now.

Really all you need is the coupon code. Find a cashier that’s nice enough to try it for you…and it should work just fine!
