hey i may be wrong but if the gas x is 4.99 and i use a 4.00 manufacturer coupon and a 2.00 walgreens coupon then wouldnt that make it a 1$ money maker not just free because the deal says just free thanks
I dont’ think she listed the overage b/c she isn’t sure if that particular type is included.
Walgreens will have to adjust the coupon down. Most likely they will not give you money back. Money makers only work if you are getting RR back.
One is a walgreens coupon, the other is a manuf coupon. As long as you have items to cover the overage, giving the manuf coupon first, then the Walgreens will deduct another $2 off for $4 in savings.
Its no different than a few weeks ago when PediaCare was $5 off w/ad cpn, everyone had the $3/2 IP, so it worked out like this:
$5.99 + $5.99 = $11.98 – $3 IP and $10.00 Wags q (cpn deducted $5 off each item)
= -1.02
Same thing applies to the Gas X
$4.99 – $4 manf q – $2 Wags q = -1.01

FYI on the tape, the coupon says one per purchase, and I tried to use 2 last time there was a deal a few weeks ago and it beeped and they rejected the second one. Good luck though!
Sometimes cashiers think ‘purchase’ and ‘transaction’ mean the same thing, but they are not. Some coupons do say one per transaction, and that means just that – one per transaction. One coupon per purchase means if you are buying 2 items, you can’t have the cashier scan 1 coupon twice, you need 1 coupon per item you are purchasing. Each item you put on the counter is a ‘purchase’, all of the items combined are a ‘transaction’.
I’ve noticed since Wags put in their new registers/scanners, either my coupons don’t scan at all or they beep like crazy.
Mine always been or dont want to ring up either.
well, they are wrong and you need to correct them.
I have noticed the beepage with the new scanners also. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes longer to check out….but still worth the great stuff we get for free or cheap! 🙂
If you’re talking about the packaging tape, that was because Scotch coded the coupon wrong and instead of it being coded as a $1/1 – it was actually coded as a $1/2. That’s why the second one beeped.

No, you are wrong, because you are trying to take off the IVC TWICE instead of once. The M&M’s are 2/$5 and only AFTER you use the $1/2 IVC in the April book do they come out to be 2/$4. They don’t start out as 2/$4

No, because you are using 2 coupons. Walgreens will have to adjust the price down of the coupons to give it to you for free.

There are some walgreens around my house that have signs up that say that they do not accept printed coupons. Is that allowed?! And i have tried using them before too and they wont take them. Now if i want to use any of my printed on line coupons at walgreens i cant! it is so frustrating.
I have the same problem with my CVS, they don’t take IPs, but Walgreens & Rite Aid do.
IDK what you can do, maybe call CS or talk to the store manager about why they won’t take IPs. Tell them it doesn’t make any sense, esp when there is a link to print from coupons.com on the Walgreens website!

It would be, but Walgreens generally does not apply overage to the rest of the purchase, they adjust the coupon down instead.
If you give your manuf q’s 1st, then the Wags cpn, you will have overage. Just make sure you have other items in your basket.
And I think she didn’t list the overage b/c she doesn’t know if that gas-x is included.

I’m not sure if I am looking at the wrong thing, but I got the .75/2 q for the Dove chocolate bars and there is also a B2G1 free q, so if you buy 3 and use both coupons you get 3 for .03 or .01 each. 🙂

I don’t think you can use both of those coupons on just 3 items. The B2G1 would attach to at least 2 items and the .75/2 would need to attach to 2 more items. You might be able to get 4 depending on how the coupon is coded – then the .75/2 would attach to the ‘free’ one and the 4th.
Oh one more thing the Coca Cola 12 pks in my ad are 5/$13 so if you have that coupon (I don’t 🙁 ) that would be an even better deal for you! Only $3 for 5 12pks 🙂

Depends on the size, my daughter is in size 4 right now and I believe the little movers have 27 in them, and the snug and dry have 31. Size 4 would work out to around $.16-$.17 per diaper if my math is right.

I prefer the little movers, the snug and dry are NOT snug or dry. Oh wow, my husband and I tried those we bought two big boxes. There are more diapers per pack in the snug and dry and so we thought we were better off. Boy what a lesson learned – they sag badly and the fluffystuff inside is very little and as soon as my daughters peed in them they drooped and needed to be changed right then and there.
It is like buying a pillow that feels fluffy and as soon as you use it for a week its flat as the filling is poor. So, just a heads up the walgreens brand is better than the snug and dry and the little movers is just a tad better than the Walgreens brand.
I think it totally depends on your kiddo. Snug & Dry has always been fine for us. Walgreens diapers, however, cause a rash (and my little one is not sensitive to anything else). That’s why good diaper deals are fun – it gives you a chance to try a lot of different kinds inexpensively!
I had good luck with the Snug and Dry too!

You only have to use one, and you dont have to tear it out. They just scan it from the book, and give the book back to you. It will automatically multiply by how many you bought. 🙂

They print out as codes on a catalina & you have a certain amount of time to use them. I don’t remember the time frame on past deals…sorry.

Julie – Isn’t the coupon in the calendar a MF Q? Mine says redeemable exclusively at Walgreens, but looks and reads like a MF Q. If that is the case you will not be able to use it with the 2 $1/1 Qs.
