Does anyone else have a problem getting your rebates from Staples? I don’t think the problem is Staples in my case, I think it’s the mail carrier/post office. This will be the second time I haven’t received my Rebate. The first time I had no problem with Staples re-sending a rebate check, hopefully I won’t this time either. I think I might try having it put in my Pay Pal account. The checks they send are like flimsy post cards and I think mine are getting lost in the mail.

I love that it can go to Paypal now…that is how I have done it and it works great!

      • Karen

This is probably a dumb question….but if it goes to PayPal can you then transfer it to your bank account?

(I don’t really make purchases with PayPal but I do have an old PayPal account……)

        • Tiffany

yes you can, but you lose part of it. my husband sold some stuff on ebay and transferred paypal balance to bank. paypal takes a percentage of it. not much think its 3%

          • Karen

            Good to know…thanks!

          • Michellyn

Paypal does NOT charge you to transfer electronically to your bank account. I do it all the time & the amount that I transfer is the amount that is deposited to my account! Paypal does take a percentage if you pay from there from selling I believe, but they don’t charge you to transfer to your bank account.

            • Michellyn

whoops, should have been when people pay you, not if you pay…

Can you do this again? I just did it a few days ago when you posted it before.

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Is there tax on this?

    • Megan

Yes, there is tax on this. It is still an amazing deal. I think Staples has these rebated on paper eat least every other week. We have stocked up a ton. Thanks so much for letting us know about these deals.

      • Catherine

So you can do it every time they put out a new coupon?

I saw it said one per household, but didn’t know if it included when they had done this offer in the past.

        • Megan

It works for me every time there is a new offer. However, this would be the first time with this type of coupon. Usually you don’t need a coupon like this to get the rebates, but with this one you do. As long as you have it, it should work. But, I haven’t gone yet to try.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Yes, in Ohio there is.

  4. Vinita

Great deal!!! Thanks for posting Collin.

Off topic: Any idea what time the Gillette ProGlide razor offer will come on? Missed it yesterday. TIA.

    • Alycia

      It’s up now!

  5. Jana

Here’s another off topic subject….I have run out of printer ink (my black cartridge) and need to find an economical source for new ink. Checked a few of the stores in my area in the last couple of weeks and no one even had my HP ink on sale. Any suggestions hip2savers???

    • Tiffany

i dont see a lot of sales on ink around me but staples rewards has a thing where they give u $3 for each cartridge u recycle there. make sure u talk to a manager first because i had 3 cashiers tell me they had no idea what i was talking about. they send u a rebate type thing at the end of the month for each cartridge u recycle thru them(max10)

I have an Office Max store(office supplies) and they refill certian ink cartridges…I save $3.00 on each one.HTH

I always refill my Hp ink cartridges at Walgreen’s for $9.99 and use Register Rewards to pay for them. It’s $12.99 regular price for black or color but they always have $3 off coupons at the cash register there in the photo department and they also usually have one day of the week in each month where ink refills are $9.99 – just check at your photo counter.

It makes me sad every time I see this offer. I don’t have a Staples near by…I need paper and ink!!!

  7. Louise

Help! Where do I find the rebate form on staples website? Ive been searching high and low

  8. DianeG

FYI – Staples has the Duracell battery deal that Colin posted in March – again! April 22 to 30th get100% back in Staples Rewards for the purchase of 20 packs Duracell AA and AAA batteries again. Limit 2 – in store only I got this in an email Staples ad today – You might want to check the flyer next week, because last time they listed specific SKU# “s, that applied to this offer.

  9. lexi

Still not totally clear- If I did this deal back on the 19th can I do it again? Thanks for all you do!

    • Ada - Lovin Him

Yes you can do it again – it’s a different coupon and a new offer # If you look at the rebate receipt that prints out you’ll see a different offer # to enter for your easy rebate.

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I contacted my local Staples and informed them that I had submitted a rebate for the same HP paper not too long ago. They said I “should” be able to submit another rebate for this promotion. The person that took my call seemed “unsure” and I didn’t want to wait for the Manager since I have been holding for quite some time. I am going to Staples tomorrow morning since I am planning to be in that area anyway and find out myself.
