Ok I am a little confused on the reward card thing. I have heard it is a gift card that can only be used at office depot and cannot be used to get more reward /rebates.

I not to long ago got an office depot prepaid card that had $$ on it and it said to keep it for my continued rewards. I was able to use it anywhere due to the visa logo and it saiys debit right above the logo.

I will do more of these rewards if that is where my rebates go – any help thanks

I did the worklife rewards deal that was back in November (I think) when they had a long list of things you could get. I have not received my rewards card for these purchaces. Has anyone else gotten theirs back? Do they send it to you through the mail?

Crystal you should have received your rewards in February for purchases made in the last quarter of 2010. I received it by mail in a gift card before the end of February. I would go online and check your account or call them to see where your rewards are because those I earned in the last quarter will expire the end of May.

I have also been waiting several months for my rewards card so I contacted Office Depot and here is what I found out:
You can only receive rewards if you have spent at least that amount on purchases in the store or online. For example, I submitted $30 worth of ink cartridges, but I after 4 months there is no credit on my account. This is because I have not made a $30 purchase at Office Depot. So in order to receive my reward, i must purchase $30 worth of merchandise, then look for my $30 rewards card (gift card) sometime during the next quarter. They sent me a copy of the Rewards Guidelines which can be found on their website. There are lots of new (stricter) changes happening very soon as well… like no more than 10 cartridges per month. Honestly, I think I’ll stick to Staples next time for the rewards, since these rules were not very clear as I had no idea I actually had to spend $30 to get my $30 rewards. Now I just feel like they have all my ink cartridges and I have nothing (until I spend the $30 that is!).

      JenL,
I think some one is giving you incorrect info! The rewards you earn should have nothing to do with purchases other than those made to earn additional rewards.I would call again and hope you get a more knowledgeable representative.

Thanks. I checked again. Under the Terms and Conditions “Ink and Toner Recycling Program” it states:

“Recycling Rewards will NOT exceed the amount of your total qualifying Office Depot purchases.”

So if you don’t spend money at the store (at least the amount of your reward), you will not receive your reward.
