YESSS! I have been patiently waiting a skin care deal. =) Thanks so much, I can’t wait.

  2. Deb

There is no Q to use on these but the 2 TOP RATED sunscreens last season, tested by Consumer Reports, was #1 Coppertone Water Babies SPF 50, and 2 place was Target’s Up & Up SPF 30 Continuous Spray.
We’ll be heading out on vaca this Saturday so I’ll pick up the Target brand.
I always feel very confident buying items CR has put thru their rigorous testing 🙂

    • Margie

I used the Coppertone one you specified last year and loved it the most. I seemed to cover up my little one a LOT better than others. I’ll be getting that again this season, even if it’s full price, it’s worth keeping my little one’s skin in better shape than mine was at that time (when sunscreen wasn’t such a big deal…when it used to be “if you don’t burn but tan, you’re fine”).

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Those sunscreens do work well — but I am really cautious of the chemicals going onto our skin as well — the pure & free / sensitive skin neutrogena formulas contain physical blockers rather than chemical ones…there’s a lot of scary information about some of the side effects of chemical sunscreens.

I purchased the Aveeno Baby Continuous Protection SPF 55 last summer for my daughter. I just used it this past weekend when we attended a birthday party. I applied the sunscreen about 15 minutes before she went into the pool. She came out a couple of times to eat and use the bathroom, and I never reapplied. This was the first time that she had absolutely NO tan lines. I kid you not. I was amazed at this product! I now have coupons for Aveeno suncare products and I will definitely be using them on this product!

  3. shirley b

I have a $2.00 ECB to start with so that makes both free. That”s a great deal, Thanks Collin…

One quick question – are you able to do this twice? I printed two coupons so I was wondering if I could go in twice in one week? I’m new to CVS shopping – thanks so much!

    • Michelle

Watch her scenario – it uses two coupons in the same transaction. So, if you just printed two, you’d use them both at one time. =) Now, if you have four, I don’t know… =)

    • Amanda

You will need two coupons for this deal since you are buying two sunscreens. Most sales will have fine print that says how many deals are allowed per household. If it’s more than one per household than you wouldn’t need to go back a second time.

    • Amanda

The ad for next week says limit of 1 deal. You can use 2 coupons but you will only be getting back ONE $10 EB

      • Tristan

how are you seeing the ad for next week?

  6. Deb

One other crucial factor when choosing sunscreens-you want to look for good UVB and UVA protection.
UVA is the sun radiation that penetrates deepest into the skin and causes age spots, broken blood vessels and wrinkling. AND a hightened cancer risk.
Don’t just buy anything…………especially when it comes to your little ones.

  7. dawn

thank you for the heads up….I almost bought it today…Now I’ll wait til next week =)

  8. Beth

I am always interested in the UVA/UVB and the chemicals actually being applied to babies skin. Many brands have much stronger chemicals that is then absorbed through the skin. We do use the coppertone babies for my son but I love this neutrogena brand for my face because it doesn’t make me break out! I will be buying two of these to keep in my clutch for the summer 🙂

  9. Julie

This exact coupon was in my 5/1 Kroger Ad (as a Manufacturer’s Q). It was in the Lexington Herald Leader, I was waiting on a deal!

  10. pagina21

On the coupon it says “Limit one per purchase”. How do we use 2 at once?

    • Amanda

You are purchasing two, so two coupons may be used. It does not say “one per transaction”.

      • April

it says one per customer though :/

    • Joanne

Cvs registers keep track of how much you spend to make the deal.. you don’t need to buy it all in one shot …if the coupon is only 1 per purchase as well as 1 per customer, just buy one and then the other later.

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Can’t wait to get my sun on! EEK!

  12. Carolyn

Perfect, I hope this sale applies to their Pure&Free type 🙂 Thanks!!

  13. Shari

SWEET!! I have $14 in ECBs so I won’t have to shell out any money!

  14. Bethany

Oh my gosh! What a great deal!!!

  15. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Are the .47 oz products considered full-size so that we can use the $2 coupons?

  16. Lpmousse

Collin- do you mean 47 oz., not .47 oz? 😉 Thanks for the great deal. I think most of my sunscreen is over 5 years old, and the efficacy has probably gone way down. I was out for a walk yesterday with a friend, and got a little tiny bit of sun burn on my arms. Gotta love the sun after a cold dreary winter.

    • Lpmousse

I have a $7.99 ECB from the Blink eye drops from a couple of weeks ago. Yay for big ticket ECB items, and that I can use the ECB next week. I went to Wags to use the Carefree coupon this week.

    • Amanda

Nope, she is right. 0.47 ounces is the sunblock stick that is priced at $7.99

  17. Mitch

Wow, this is great, our sunscreen from last summer has expired.
    thanks for this!

We only use Blue Lizard Australian sunscreen in our house. My boys are almost 9 and 12, but we still use the baby one because it’s chemical free and fragrance free. Plus, has UVA and UVB protection. The baby one works on sensitive skin of all ages!

  19. Shannon

Thanks for posting about the coupon!!! I have been waiting for some good sunscreen coupons to come out for this year. Too bad I don’t live where there is a CVS anymore. I am just starting to run out of all the supplies I have gotten the past couple years from couponing at CVS and I have been away from one for a year.

  20. Linda

FYI, I buy our sunscreen at the 99 CENT ONLY store every year!! Check the expiration dates but most last at least one summer. And they are name brand, high end ones! Last summer we got Banana Boat spray on and a Coppertone lotion one!

  21. Kelsey

Apparently there is a $3/$10 healthcare CRT next week which will make this scenario a $1.02 MM! 😀

    • Kerri

How do you get the $3 off $10 Healthcare? Is it automatic with your CVS card?

      • Kelsey

It should be at the red coupon machine, just like this week’s $3/$10 cosmetics purchase.

  22. melissa

My store never has those sunsticks. Don’t be surprised if you can’t find them either. The next cheapest item are the sun sprays and they range from $9.99 & up.
    $9.99 x 2 = $19.98
    – $4.00 (2 $2 IPs)
    – $3.00/$10 healthcare CRT
    – $10 ECB
    = $2.98

Still not a bad deal though.

  23. tracy

i just received in my email 1off neutrogena skincare cvs store coupon expires 5/16

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Are you sure it was Neutrogena? My email coupon was for $1 off Nivea.

    • Natalie

Are you sure it was Neutrogena and not Nivea? My email was for Nivea. 🙁

    • Maria

It’s for Nivea, I just printed mine off.

  24. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome deal for this Arizona mama! Thank you!!!!! Always need sunscreen!

  25. nicole

I did not receive my red plum coupon book yest. The whole city didnt get it but we were supposed to. What do I do to get those coupons besides instead of using the internet ons?

  26. andrea

CAN ANYONE HELP IM HAVING A HARD TIME PRINTING ANY COUPONS ONLINE..I HAVE A MACBOOK…DRIVES ME CRAZY..ACTS LIKE IT IS PRINTING.THEN SAYS YOUR COUPON PRINTED..BUT UM IT DIDNT!

    • T

i had that prob once before. check your printer status and be sure it is set up to go to the printer you have installed. sometimes it randomly changes to something else when you get a new one. the only prob is that because it says it printed already, the coupon might tell you it is out of prints 🙁

  27. Ashley

As someone mentioned previously what do we do about the “one coupon per customer” wording in the fine print? That implies you can’t use two in the same transaction.

  28. Dawn

The Neutrogena Sensitive Skin has no irritating chemical sunscreens in it and it has a broad spectrum uva/uvb. I only use this sunscreen on my children. When my son was a baby he broke out badly from one of the name brand baby sunblocks. My daughter’s dermatologist recommended this Neutrogena one and we have had no problems with it. We vacation each year at the Outerbanks! I love this sunscreen so I am so happy to see a deal on it!

    • kidsallgone

Hey Dawn! I’m in Charleston, SC and we vacation at Kill Devil Hills in the Outer Banks each year (going June 12th this year). Love it there!!

****QUESTION FOR ANYONE: How (and WHY) in the world would one CVS (near me) have an item (Arm & Hammer dryer sheets $1.79 vs $1.49) for almost 30 cents more than another CVS about 5 miles away? That’s sooooo annoying!! It’s right across the street from me but I’m just not going to shop there anymore. That’s just not right…or is it? LOL!

  29. Lynnette

What zip code do we need to put in to find this coupon? It’s not coming up with my zip code. Or maybe it’s gone already???

  30. jesse

    RP coupon is gone. =(

  31. Neutrogena Coupons

    The link works now, thanks

  32. elloo

What coupon? The RedPlum site doesn’t have this one.

  33. Valerie

I used the red coupon machine yesterday and it printed a Beauty Club Member $3 off any $15 Skin Care Purchase, so that will make the Neutrogena deal even better!
