What is the ‘voucher’ it talks about? Do you have to do anything else, like redeem the voucher? Or is the voucher just the subscription itself?

I believe that the magazine will be automatically shipped to the address that you enter when you checkout. 😀

I ordered this the last time they had this deal and I was a little disappointed in the book. It was only 10 or so pages long and almost like something you would get for free in a happy meal. It is very cheap though but just not what I was expecting! My kids liked it but it was like a 5-10 minute deal. And you only get 6 issues a year! They had a deal for another National Geographic magazine for older kids that I bought recently, and hopefully that one is better!

I was not familiar with the magazine so I appreciate your input.

The magazine for older kids is awesome – my children have been reading them for three years now and my 12 year old sits right down when the magazine comes, he reads it cover to cover and then tells me “what’s cool” in the articles. Totally worth the $15 subscription fee!

Thank you!!! I’ve been searching for a deal for this magazine!! Now..if you can just find a really cheap one for the Disney Princess magazine…!! lol 🙂

    • Beth

OMG, that was insane! I got an email about a discount on it and the discount made it 30-some dollars a year!

My 3 year old will love this! His big brother gets National Geographic Kids and he always gets upset that he doesn’t get mail, too.

    Thanks!!!

I was also disappointed with this ‘magazine’. It’s more like a booklet with very few pages. Even for $7, I’d save your money…

    No PayPal. 🙁

For those of you who have been disappointed in this mag, do you think it would be appropriate for a 2-3yo? My son loves the zoo, and animals, so I was thinking of getting this for him. But if it’s really not worth it, maybe we’ll subscribe to our zoo’s newsletter magazine instead

My son is 5 and has been getting it for about 2 years. It is short but he enjoys it and there’s more pictures than words so it is age appropriate. He’s getting too old for it now but I think it would be worth it for a toddler aged child. He saved all of his and enjoyed reading them over and over.

also, it looks like you can get 6% back through shopathome.com

yes, i had the same question. I purchased it for my 3 yo grandson who lives in CA. So, I am not sure if his mom needs to do anything else, or the magazine will start coming in the mail????
