Super cute & funny. Thanks for the chuckle! 😀
aw this is cute..great way to get a lil smile out of me 🙂
totally adorable! Thanks for posting!
love this! what a great end to my work day!
LOL! That was great!!!
🙂 Reminds me of an evening when I saw a flatbed hauling only an exercies bike.
Aww it made me smile and think of my 2 year old! He loves putting his “trucks” on daddy’s huge trailer for the Tractor!
Hahaha! Those truck drivers are on the road so long and away from their families. Glad to see some still have a great attitude 🙂 So cute!
Hysterical!!! Collin you should rename this feature FUNNY FRIDAY!!! ::):):)
Completely off topic but since I know a lot of people check out this particular feature, I HAD to share this.
Today I was shocked and surprised at my Walgreens!!! Today was the first day I actually met the store manager. I’d met the asst. mgrs before but never the head honcho. Well the store manager was YOUNG ENOUGH TO BE MY SON….THAT was the SHOCKER!!!:):):)
Now for the surprises: I picked up a brand new Gillette Proglide gift pack (NOT the Smooth Comfort or Total Performance that has been featured in scenarios, but one that said NEW…GILLLETTE PROGLIDE FUSION…SAVE UP TO $12). Maybe, just maybe it’s an old one from the Gillette launch, but I’d never seen it before.
Anyways….I used $4 MQ AND $4 RR from a previous transaction and paid $1.99 plus tax. TA DA….$4 RR back!!! This was a surprise coz I though the “deal” on the gift packs was just for a week or so from when Collin posted. So anyone STILL waiting to buy the gift packs, it still works.
Now for the REAL SURPRISE: I used that $4RR on the Crest Outlast toothpaste. DOUBLE TA DA….Out came 2 RR’s: one for $3 and the other for $2 and my friend the cashier told me I could only get one and I said hey why don’t we try it we have nothing to lose. Well to put it mildly…HE was pleasantly surprised!!!::):):)
Then I turned around and used those RR on 2 Aussie with $1 MQ and got both for FREE!!!
Took the RR generated from that deal and paid $2.00 for Cotton Squares!!!
What I’m getting at people is that the RR from the Gillette WORKED for the Crest (no “pushing” or whatever on cashier’s part) and then that deal netted me 2 MORE P&G coupons.
I’m sure this was a one time thing, but it sure gives ME a different outlook on how the RRS don’t work if used for the same manufacturer’s products. AMEN!!!
Happy Weekend all!!!
even though it “worked”, P&G RR’s specifically state they can’t be used on other P&G products.
Melissa thank you for the input. However, please don’t think I’m a CAREER CRIMINALIST. I didn’t realize till I came home that I had used P&G RRs and that they worked. I read the deals, but it’s been almost a week and I usually “roll” my RRs in store with no problem. I said SURPRISE…SPECIFICALLY because I have NEVER used coupons from a manufacturer for use on another by the same manufacturer and also have NEVER gotten coupons when the ad specifies that X amt of RRs will not be generated if used with same manufacturer RR.
There have been quite a few posts on how RRs are generated on products they “shouldn’t” or how people are using one particular RR to get another RR on the next deal. Also, even though I haven’t watched it, there’s supposed to be a video out on someone’s site that documents the whole RR process.
Melissa I know you mean well and I have never ever tried to “beat the system”. This was an isolated instance because I usually do the deals only when I’m in need of something and I have NEVER had a coupon beep or have the manager called. I do believe that if a coupon is not valid it is just not accepted. I could be wrong.
I’m sorry to spoil the tone of this WONDERFUL post on something so funny. Not everything is written in stone sometimes and it happened to me this time. Please try to be more forgiving of people like me (NOVICES) that are STILL “trying to find their couponing “feet” one transaction at a time. I met the store manager in person for the first time today and HE told me how people buy for free at his store and then sell the same items for $5 – 10 at flea markets, yard sales, etc. Draw from that what you will. To me it seems far worse than using the wrong coupon on a product…
Collin I apologize, but thank you so very much for all the deals you post.every day/week. Don’t know what I’d do without you!
I used a dollar PG RR to buy 3 packs of pampers cruizer and was expecting to get the $5 RR back and it didn’t print because i used the RR from PG to pay for it. So it doesn’t work all the time. 🙁
Awww Ariel, I am so sorry hon. That must have been very disappointing. I don’t usually watch videos (except Collin’s….coz she’s the Coupon Video DIVA), but I’m going to try and google that site that people have mentioned on EXACTLY how the RRs work. It’s supposed to be very informative and I for one would like to watch it just for future reference.
GL to you. Hope all your future couponing deals go well!
in my understanding, and experience of RR’s, I have always had them print as long as it’s for a different product even if in the same brand family.
Thank you SO much Till. What you say makes a LOT of sense. Being fairly new to this stuff, I’m still trying to figure it ALL out. Helps to hear from VETERANS. Thanks again!
First off, I didn’t accuse you of anything, so no need to get defensive. I had no intention of posting such a short, curt reply….I hit submit instead of cancel by mistake b/c I had wanted to go into further detail, but I was short on time and couldn’t post a follow up reply.
.
I’m not new to using coupons, nor Wags & RRs. One of the first things I learned (from a shopping forum, not a blog) was that yes, RRs -DO ROLL- within the same brand family. However, the one exception is P&G b/c they do say on their RRs that they cannot be used on other P&G items. I have been burned a time or two by using a P&G RR, [completely my fault b/c I wasn’t paying attention and used the wrong one], expecting a RR in return, and SURPRISE….no RR printed! This is one of the reasons I don’t shop Wags much, just too many things to have to remember with RRs!!
.
I know there are loopholes to the P&G RRs, but its my choice not to go down that path. I feel that being an honest couponer is more rewarding than being sneaky to get a good deal. NOT saying you were, just a general statement as I have read ppl brag about using coupons meant for one item on another product. And coupons *should* beep if the right product isn’t purchased, but they don’t and people take advantage. That is why coupons are evolving…limits are being set and the bar codes are changing….hopefully to weed out those who misuse!
.
Anyway…I wish you well in your coupon journey!
omg’sh thats to cute! looks like somebody couldn’t get a load!!!
Oh you don’t know how much I needed that.
I’ve saw this picture floating around the internet. I guess many passing motorists had to get a shot of this. LOL
i saw this too just the other day (in florida)- although it might have been on another truck. cute!
People have been posting this same exact picture on facebook for a month now.
That’s interesting. This pic was taken and sent in by a reader, but I wonder if other trucking companies think alike? This trucking company definitely has a cute sense of humor! 🙂
I can personally vouch for the picture since I’m the one who took the pic and sent it in. We took the pic in Southern Indiana. My husband saw the truck and said, “We need to get a picture of that. My dad would think that was funny.” Glad it’s making so many people smile! 🙂
This pic made my day! So funny!
That’s a truck driver with one great sense of humor! 🙂
YES!!! I have seen a semi like this before!!! I absolutely loved it!!
Collin, I love these posts. I am often very stressed and these little tid-bits really help.
<3 You!!
Is that the same Hasbro truck you posted earlier?! Ha! Everyone got in on the deal.
A lil off subject here, but my daughter is trying to win a contest at Applebees in our local town. The child with the most likes on facebook for their drawing wins a bike, I was hoping you guys could help her out. Any help would be awesome! Thank you!

So cute!
great photo! Too cute! I didn’t even know what it was until my husband pointed at the little truck. That is funny, great capture!
awwwwww that is soooo cute! Thanks collin and anisha!
Very cute! We would love to see something like that on our trips!
Sometimes even the smallest load can be the heaviest to bare! LOL
My husband and I own a tow company so I had to show him this picture! He has been wanting to get into the “heavy hauling” and I have been hesitant. So I showed him this pic and told him that this might be ok despite that I wasn’t sure how to bill for it. Both of us laughed our heads off! After a long hard week, this is exactly what we needed! Thanks.
lmao!!!
is there a way i can get that pic so i can send it to my trucker friend
