So, once again, it’s Saturday and time for another Sunday coupon insert preview! Below you will find a long list of coupons that reader, Carol, will be receiving in her Washington Post newspaper tomorrow, 8/21. I would suggest checking the list below and also heading on over to Sunday Coupon Preview to get an idea of what coupons you may receive. Please keep in mind that NOT all areas will get the same coupons or coupon values.

There will be one SmartSource coupon insert available in the 8/21 Sunday newspaper. Also, make sure to check your Parade Magazine or USA Today (depending on where you live) for coupons as well. And speaking of that, in the 8/21 Parade magazine (or USA Today), you should spot a $3/1 Glade Sense & Spray starter kit coupon and a $2/1 Keri Lotion coupon. I’ve also heard that you may find a FREE Dannon Oikos yogurt 5.3 oz cup (up to $3 value!) coupon! Yay!

I got an e-mail this week from Pampers saying there was going to be Kandoo coupons in this week’s paper, but yet, no preview posts have them listed :*( I’m still holding out hope!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

what about redplum inserts? are they going to be in this sunday newspaper?

      • Couponmickey

        No RP this week. 🙁

    • Couponmickey

I got Kandoo coupons in NW Ohio. $1/1 Kandoo soap, shampoo, body wash or sanitizer and $0.50/1 flushable wipes.

      • Jennifer

Thanks for the heads up! I have a coworker with an extreme couponing sister that lives in NW Ohio- she gives me more baby coupons than I can use…I’ll have to ask if she got the Kandoo Q!! Now I’m excited 🙂

    • Leslie

I got that same notice, but received them in this past week’s paper. 8/14

    • Katie

I get the smartsource insert in my local saturday newspaper and there is a $1/1 kandoo soap, body wash, shampoo or sanitizer, and a .50/1 flush able wipes.

  2. Cynthia Amos

Thanks Colin & staff for providing this “heads up” preview !!

  3. JJ

Hi Collin! I’m always on your site, but it just dawned on me a few weeks ago that you live in NC. Have you ever tried to get the 1 dollar N&O subscription? I tried it for three weeks this month, buying four a week, and even though I live about 45 minutes away from the triangle, I only received three of the 12! I was so excited that I wouldn’t be chasing around the city finding papers with the inserts in them, but I’m right back to it.

  4. lana

Hey jj, I signed up for the same deal, send my card in twice, and never received my papers. I tried to call and got nowhere. I’ve been going to the food lion in garner, they get their papers on time and still use stock left at noon.

  5. Pamela

So is there no redplum for 8/21??? I normally get the RP in the mail along with my local supermarket ads but did not get one this week. Is the SS the only insert for 8/21?

  6. dr_beanz

OT, but new Pampers code: 2beginearning10

    • Sarah

      Thanks!

    • Tia

      This was posted yesterday.

  7. Jen

Collin.. i love your site and everything you do.. but it’s your birthday.. you’ve been updating all day.. take a day off already and go celebrate!! 🙂 Enjoy your weekend with your family! Happy Birthday!

  8. JJ

Hey Lana! Thanks for letting me know about your experience! I started school again this week at State, so I can definitely get papers when I’m in town, so that’s a good thing. I emailed them on three different occasions, and only the first email was actually opened… so I just cancelled when they didn’t bring anything the third week. I have a cousin who’s going to try out the deal, but I was really looking forward to the one dollar N&O! I had a subscription when I was in middle school (big nerd, here!), but I always got it. I guess they just want us to pay full price for the big ones, then, regardless of the promo?

  9. Dee

Hi everyone! I’m reaching out to all Hip2Savers to see if anyone would be willing to give up their AmLactin coupon for $3.50 that came in the July issue of AllYou if you aren’t using it (of course ;o) I can send you a self addressed stamped envelope to send it my way if you’d kindly agree to it? I have really weird skin that doesn’t seem to slough off enough on its own and the dermatologist told me that I will need to use it going forward (probably the rest of my life!) – urgh!
The stuff is not cheap either – any spare coupons would be greatly appreciated and if you’re looking for a particular coupon and I can spare it, I’d be most willing to send it your way!
If I’ve posted this incorrectly, I apologize! I just didn’t know how else to reach out to everyone!!

Thanks so much in advance and have a remainder of the weekend! Happy late birthday Collin!!!

    • Alison M.

I don’t see that coupon in the July issue. Are you sure that is the right one? Let me know and I can look and send it to you.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It was the August issue! Thanks!

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

If you would email me @ fullsoup@yahoo.com with your address, I will send you the envelope! Thx!

    • Jennifer

      Dee-

What’s your e-mail addy, I should have at least one, although I’m not going through my Qs until the morning, so I’ll look then!

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sorry-typo on email add, only one “o” in “soup”! Still getting used to this iPad!

    • clyjohn

The Amlactin coupon for $3,50 was in my A ugust 26th All You magazine. I would be more than happy todo it according to your terms. My email address is clyjohn50@gmail.com.,

    • Kari

I have two of those coupons and could possibly get a third. My e-mail is jkcwood@yahoo.com

      Kari

    • Misty

Dee, also try eBay. There is a top rated seller on there with 10 of the $3.50/1 AmLactin coupons for only 0.99.. hope that helps!

    • sashagrace

Mine is in the September issue — but I would still be happy to share. I emailed you!

  10. Terri

No coupons in the USA weekend in Tampa area. In the SS we did get a Target $5/2 Revlon beauty tools coupon that expires 10/1/11. This was VERY regional last time it was out. I was super excited to see it since we didn’t get it last time.

  11. AndeH

I bought 2 Chicago Tribunes from the same place at the same time. One had the Dannon and Keri Q’s, the other did not in the same identical Parade insert. Makes no sense…

    • Agnes

omg I’ve just noticed same thing, I got 4 papers, 3 of Parade had Dannon and Keri coupon and the 4th didn’t!
Also my SS inserts were messed up. One was incomplete, the other was ok and the 3rd had double set of the ones I was missing form the 1st paper! I don’t get it! What is going on with those inserts.
Im glad I got Free Dannon,

      • Susan

I had the same experience. I get 4 papers delivered, ended up with 6 Parade Mags but only 3 free yogurt Qs.

    • Angelia

On the second page (front,1st,2nd) if there is a large orange box as part of the ad you have all 3 pages of coupons if there is not an orange box you only have one. ‎1 PAGE = $3 Glade Sense Kit; 3 PAGE = $3 Glade Sense Kit, One Free Dannon Oikos Cup, $2 Keri, $2 Vagistat-1, $2 Slow Fe. From my experience there are usually two different Parades printed each week. I always compare two copies to find out what the difference is – makes looking for the coupons quicker. The Parade doesn’t always have coupons but I’d rather look through 2 than however many I get. I still don’t know why they print two different ones. Seems silly.

  12. Anna m

I love the trib coupons. I get the suntimes currently but want to switch because the chicago tribune has more coupons. Also I looked through my newspaper to make sure the plastic wasn’t opened, maybe someone took it out Of your parade???

  13. Anna m

Dee- send me your address and I’ll send you mine. Perhaps you have any baby coupons you don’t use? I’ll send it to you regardless though.

    • Katie

Dee- I am happy to send mine to you as well. My email address is hedgesbills@gmail.com. Just send me your address and I’ll send it to you.

  14. Victoria

Well over here on the east coast in our saturday Jersey Journal there was no free dannon Oikos insert but a dollar off 2 dannon Oikos, I guess it changes from area to area.

  15. gjgranger

If anyone lives in the Milwaukee area and receives the Sunday Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, be sure to take advantage of the coupon in the plastic bag. I have my paper delivered, so I am not sure if it is available on the news stand. Advil is running a promotion/advertisement for a free bottle of Advil. The bags contain a card with a unique code. If you enter the code and register by 9/4/11 at http://www.Advil.com/freeoffer you will get a coupon in the mail for Advil or Advil PM.

  16. ketsy

I get the Florida Today subscription.. none of the high value coupons are in there but today my bag was pretty and it had an ad on the outside for TRY ADVIL FREE…. yay! You get a coupon by mail for a free bottle with the code in your newspaper bag 😀

    • June Weyenberg

i GOT THE NOTICE – HOPE i WILL GET THE COUPON. mY CODE IS BIPQBV.

  17. Renee P

My paper came in a bag that had a code for a FREE bottle of ADVIL!

  18. Jenn

Woo! Hoo! I have the Tampa Tribune delivered and have the Keri q, Dannon yogurt q, Glade q AND the free Advil!!!! 🙂

    • Jenn

The Advil q is for free Advil AND Advil PM! Make sure to use it! 🙂

  19. Rose

The Sac Bee Parade insert I just received has the Glade coupon and a $1/2 Dannon Oikos yogurt instead of the free one.

  20. lana

@jj lol that could very well be! I have received calls from the carriers trying to sell me subscriptions and I’ll ask “can you match $1 forbade Sunday paper?” they always say “oh no! you’ll have to go through the newspaper.” so clearly they couldn’t give that discount! 🙂

    • JJ

Lana, that’s so sad!! Well, I told my friend if she actually receives them that I’d just take on a few papers on her subscription. When I canceled, the man didn’t even bother asking why I was doing so, but then I just said it myself. Good thing I just said “bill me” so I could see how it works before I paid!

  21. stacia

St Louis Post had NO coupons in it today! NONE! Glad I go through the papers at the gas station before I pay. I looked through about 15 of them and then gave up. My local Saturday paper had the SS inserts, but they are sucky. I always look forward to the St Louis paper for a bigger variety.

    • Karin

Wow, really!? My local paper always don’t have SS, so I won’t even check this week. I used to buy STPD only for coupons b/c they always had all the inserts.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I got the Sunday final edition of the St. Louis Post Dispatch (at CVS) and it had the SS insert and Parade coupons. You might want to give them a call? main # 314-340-8000 and if that doesn’t help they had a reader survey sticker on the front of my paper stltoday.com/readersurvey

  22. Anna m

I just realized one of my paper subscriptions gets the ss on Friday not Sunday, maybe if you only have a Sunday for certain papers it’s the same thing?

  23. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

got the glade coupon only in the parade NC 🙁

  24. merissa

    Question for anyone who knows.
When you get sample packs with the papers are you suppose to get one per paper?
I order 2 papers but this morning only got one sample pack with the papers.
This may be different in different parts of the country but it seems like Utah is suppose to get one per paper.
I called my mom, also in Utah, and she got 2 sets (one with each paper)

  25. Pamela

I was bummed about no RP and just the SS. But now that I looked through the SS I am thrilled at how many coupons I will actually use. I buy a local town Sunday paper that is only $1.50, the state paper is $3.00!!! I will be using the $2.00 off Wisk coupon because it is on sale this week at my local supermarket. So I bought 3 papers and those 3 coupons alone make my $4.50 spent well worth it.

I didn’t receive the Parade because it comes only in the state newspaper. The local one I buy has the USA Weekend instead of the Parade.

The state paper also gets delivered in sleeves that oiften contain freebies but is too expensive and would probably be swiped from my driveway by crazy couponers anyway.

  26. michele s

Sooooo irritated… I knew there wasn’t going to be much in this weeks coupons, but there were still a few I wanted.
Something was wrong with my stores inserts and they were HALF EMPTY!! I got the inserts, but they were for the crap coupons and the pet food. There were a ton of pages missing… and it was the same in all three papers I bought!

  27. AngieB

NO Coupons in my area AT ALL. I live in rural eastern Ky and we seem to get less and less coupon each week. Most weeks I’m lucky to get RP funny thing this time my paper didnt even advertise coupons in it all

    • Stephanie

I live in Chicago, and had NO inserts… just the free Q for yogurt in the parade mag. I’m so annoyed!

      • AngieB

I contacted the Newpaper to complain and they told me that they send more coupons to more populated areas. Just doesnt seem fair. I would have it delivered but I fear that they may still not feel that I am as important as thier other subscribers.

  28. dfwgirliegirl

Here in Plano, Texas…the local Plano Tribune (freebie paper that magically appears in my front yard as I sleep in on Sundays..I think the coupon fairy drops it) has a Kroger insert with coupons. I was pretty excited because I shop at Kroger and THOUGHT these were Kroger coupons…but they are MANUFACTURE…so I can use them anywhere. There are not many in this insert but a few I will use. Hydro 5 (one for 4.00 off razors and a seperate one for 4.00 off carts …wish I had waited for this for the CVS deal this week), Wishbone dressing, and a few others. Just a heads up to check for that insert.

    Tiff

  29. Dixie

I live in Cocoa, Florida and had NO COUPON inserts in today’s paper, only the free Advil offer. Last week, I got the SS, but not the Red Plum- luckily, my mother in law (who also lives in Cocoa) gives me hers. What is the deal? I call Florida Today just about every week and they give me a credit for the paper, but that’s not the same as the coupons. I want to talk to my paper delivery person, but apparently, that is out of the question. I need to wait up for him/her one Saturday night so we can have a chat. Its the only reason we get the paper… very frustrating. 🙁

  30. cynthia

got one insert and the coupon in parade magazine in the early sunday edition i bought last night. Today, the paper I have delivered had the insert but no coupon in parade. bummer.

  31. Michelle

Best husband ever- I didn’t get the free Dannon or $2 off Keri in our Parade in our delivered paper this morning, but he was sweet enough to pick up a paper for me while he was at the gas station, and low and behold there are the Dannon and Keri coupons! Woohoo! We didn’t get the Advil code, though. I am in the North Georgia- Chattanooga TN area.

  32. boof98

I live in salem, illinois and our st.louis post had no coupons in them!! the guy at the gas station told me that the post was going to stop putting coupons in them!!! so my area all had no coupons, it was a sad day!!

  33. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My early Sunday edition “Parade” insert had the Keri Q, but the actual Sunday paper did NOT… !? Anyone know about this?
