  1. Jenny

I want to get the folders they have listed for 29 cents each with the in-ad coupon. The limit is 6. Do I get all 6 for that price or do I need 6 in-ad coupons for these folders?
    Thanks

    • kathy

No one coupon will cover all 6. Happy shopping

    • Anonymous

You only need to use 1 in-ad coupon, it will cover all 6 (and make them the advertised price)

  2. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I have a couple questions about the Dove deo deal. Does anyone know if the Men’s+ is included in this? If so I have some coupons that I’d like to use, but also not sure if it will affect the RR printing (I know it normally shouldn’t, but I’d hate to waste a good coupon if it doesn’t work out). Anyway, the coupon is for buy hers get his free, so basically BOGO if I get some for me & hubs. So, would it work out like this…

    Dove Deo 2/$4-buy 2 mens & 2 womens=$8
use (2) buy hers get his free -$4 for the 2 mens
pay $4 get $4 RR=4 free Dove Deos

Or would the coupons prevent me from getting the RR. Some of my inserts got mixed up so I can’t say for sure which one I pulled it out of, but I believe it’s in the same insert as the $1/1 Degree coupon, on the back of a page with the Degree and Vaseline coupons. Expires 8/28. I know we prefer Dove to Degree, so I’m hoping this would work.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

nope it isnt it only on the womens senstive poweder and orignal the cheaper priced ones

      • Michelle

The only reason you wouldn’t be able to use the RR is if you had equal amount of items and coupons. The RR counts as a coupon. So if you bought 3 items and had coupons for each product, you cant add another coupon…unless you get a filler item. Something cheap like a candy or a 10 cent folder. Then you can use the RR. Hope this helps 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

If you use it, it will NOT prevent the RR from printing. The dove coupons will go through no matter what items you buy either, just so you know it will not beep except for the price to be entered. It is a ymmv situation though as to how much the cashier will deduct. I always insist on the price of 1 no matter how they actually ring up. HTH

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It says that if you buy 2 you get 1 RR (3 items 2 RR and 4 deo $4RR) so you would still get the mens deodorant free regardless of there price but the deal would only give you one RR. But you can still use the 1/1 coupon for the womens deodorant so you would pay $2 +tax and get 1 RR.

    • clip2save7

i was thinking if you purchase 2 dove deos 2/4$ get 1$ RR
also purchase 2 dove men+care deos ?price
use 2 MQ’s Buy 1 womens dove deo get 1 mens +care free
You should get 2 womens and 2 mens for 3$ after 1$ RR

      does this work?

  3. Amanda

Ok I had a frustrating day at wags! The cashier told me that I wasn’t allowed to use RR from one transaction and apply them to the next transaction and the manager agreed! I just did this last week…. Did I miss a policy change?!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

i’ve done this many times and never had a problem!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

bs so not tru at all i do it all the time just did it today they cant tell u how to use them they are mfg coupons inless u dont buy the items it prohibits

    • Bernice

I have always used my RR on the next transaction. I have even had the cashier keep it and when I asked for it she said, “Oh I thought you were going to use it right away”. That manager was lying to you. Take your business elsewhere or show them the coupon policy.

    • Jessica

Did you want to use it on the same deal? If so, then they were right because if you had used the RR from the first time, the second transaction would not have printed the RR. If that wasn’t the case, they were just plain wrong. I have stopped shopping at the ones that don’t comprehend their own policies.

  4. Aimee

Watch your rewards today if you get the Airwick freshmatics. I got a compact and the reward did not print. The manager kindly tried a UPC for another scent (lavender) and it worked. All scents should be included but as of this morning in Dallas, TX, they were being finicky. 🙂

  5. N@vybobsgal

I had a hiccup with the huggies slip-on diapers this morning but the cashier was awesome and got it all squared away. They just ring up 9.49 instead of 8.49 but should be part of the deal. Plus, here in Jacksonville, NC my Walgreens had milk for 2.99! Way cheaper than walmart!

    • Nicole

You need to use the Walgreens coupon in the front of the ad to get them for the 8.49 price.

      • Emma

That coupon didn’t work for me. They were on sale at 9.49 and I tried that coupon and it didn’t work 🙁

        • Drina

Same here – Since it was still a good deal, I went on and took the 9.49 price and used the $3 coupon, also considering the $2 RR. The slip-ons don’t say “jumbo pack” on them, so I’m wondering whether they don’t qualify for the 8.49 price.

          • RH

The slip ons DO say jumbo on them. My cashier wouldnt let me use the coupon to make them 8.49. Said the slip ons were not in the “picture” and the manager said the same thing.

    • Nanci

I had the same problem and they did not do it correct. It rang up 9.49. Somehow I ended up paying $7.37 for a smaller package then I would normally buy. 🙁

    • Beth

I had the same problem! They wouldn’t accept the slip-ons.

    Re:

    Personal Care

Reach floss 55 yards, Listerine mouthwash 3.2 oz, Reach Crystal Clean toothbrush $0.99 with in ad coupon
Use the $2.50/2 select products coupon found in the 4/17 SS
Or use the $1/1 coupon found in the 4/17 SS
Or use the $1/1 Reach Toothbrush coupon found in the 7/31 SS or July issue of All You mag.
Final cost FREE (with any of the above coupons!)

The reach toothbrush coupon 7/31 is for a kids reach toothbrush and the kids reach toothbrushes are not included at my local wags sale. Anyone else have this issue?

    • natalie

there are Listernine coupons in the insert, mine said 50 cents off listerine, or any reach toothbrush, and there was also a 1.50 off 2

      • vanesza

Those are the ones I have too. I was looking for the $1/1 though to make them free. Oh well 🙁 thank you for replying though!!!

        • Vivian

          there’s also a coupon $3 off 3. Got all 3 for free.

  7. Susan

Thought I would post a positive customer service event. I had forgotten to hand over the in-ad coupon for the Reach items. Manager readily gave me a gift card for the balance and was very nice about it.

    • dfwgirliegirl

I have had this happen where either “I” or the cashier forgot to use the Wags in-ad Q and realised it after the fact. The manager has always just did a refund for me. They usually ask if I want cash or it put back on my card. Most of the times the managers are super nice…it is the cashiers that I have had issues with at CVS and Wags…but not too often, really.

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Can I use a RR that I received from dove towards the degree deodorant and still get my RR for the degree? I’m not sure how to distinguish the whole ‘same company for products’ thing yet. Can someone please help me ?? TYIA! 🙂

    • yangzi

Both Degree and Dove products are made by same company, Unilever, so I assume if you use RR from previous Dove deal for Degree purchase this week, you will not get a RR.

I make sure to use RR from different companies when I roll to get new RR. (For example, I used RR from Kellogg’s deal for Dove deal to get a new RR, and used the Dove RR for P&G RR deal, etc)

  9. Vanessa

CAn u use dove RR towards degree doe purchase & still getting the degree RR?? TYIA

    • Vanessa

      Deodorant*

    • Lisa

No, because the RR that prints out says “thank you from dove and degree”. It’s a Unilever company, and I don’t believe it would work.

      • Vanessa

I did the dove shampoo deal yesterday and it only says thank you from dove. Do u still think it wouldn’t work?

        • melissa

No. B/C Dove & Degree are part of Unilever.

          • Vanessa

I tried it & it worked =) YAY!!

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

the dove shampoo deal was a $5 RR wasn’t it? If it was then YES you can use it and still get back a $4 RR this week as the denominations are different so the code on the coupon will not be the same. HTH

  10. Ana

The Huggies deal didn’t work for me. The Walgreen’s diaper coupon was not working on the slip-ons kind. Did anyone else had a problem?

    • Tonya

It didn’t work in Powell TN either. But $4.49 was fine with me.

    • Kim

I had this problem too, manager gave me a hard time. He told me it needed to match the picture, I didn’t realize until I got home that there was no picture of pull ups on the advertised coupon but those were included (wanted to shove it in his face). Called corporate and complained, hopefully I’ll get an answer this time.

      • RH

SAame here….$4.49 is a good price too….but, the fact of the matter is….I personally dont want to give them any of my money when they always give problems on their deals. it’s so annoying. I would rather pay full price at another store since walgreens acts the way they do. Told me the same line, it wasn’t in the picture. I even pointed out that pull ups were not in the picutre and that the wags coupon says huggies jumbo little movers and pull ups. Still, cashier and manager said no. I have tried to shop at 3 wags and all are so coupon unfriendly. Not even worth it. Every time I leave there, I feel like I did something wrong.

  11. Erica

Christine…I did the deal with Dove this AM, the buy hers get his free. I bought 2 hers at 2/$4 and got 2 his for free (the men’s were not on sale and rang up for $5.50) A RR for $1 printed out. So 4 deodorants for $3!!!

  12. Emily

Just wanted to comment that at my Wags (Rochester, NY area) the Huggies Slip-ons are NOT part of the $8.49 deal. The coupon from the ad beeps, and the cashier said they are not included in the sale because they are a separate deal. Still not a bad price though.

    • julian

The huggies deal did not work for me neither here in madison/wi. The manager said the same thing that the Slip-ons are a separate deal 🙁

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

how does the Revlon Walgreens coupon work? Do I need one per transaction, or per item, or do I get to keep it? (Like with the infant care booklet.) Thank you!

    • rebecacha

I want to know too! I dont have this regional coupon, can one simply use the code like some people do with the Infant Care booklet?

      • aura

i noticed that the wags coupo doe not have any numberso it cant be punch in like
the ones in the nfant care book.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

KEEP it at all costs! We did not get them in our local paper, but someone brought one in at my favorite wags so they taped it to the register and just keep scanning that coupon anytime somebody buys anything Revlon. Try taping it to a piece of paper maybe with a few other wags coupons and just ask them to scan it and then give you back your sheet. They do NOT need to keep it. It is an electronic coupon and will deduct for as many items in a transaction that you buy. HTH

    • Drina

You only need one Walgreens coupon, no matter how many items you have. I had the $2 Walgreens coupon, bought four eye shadows, and it took off $8.

    • Michelle

I used my $2 Revlon Walgreens coupon twice last week. I handed it to the cashier with my other Walgreens coupons (in-ad and also monthly coupons), and then I politely asked for all the Walgreens coupons back so I wouldn’t have to clip them from the ads again (even though the Revlon coupon was not from the ads). It worked both times! So I’ll keep using it!

  14. melissa

Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Jumbo Pack Diapers $9.49 = $2 RR
Use the Walgreens in ad coupon which will make these $8.49
Use the $3/1 coupon found in the 8/14 SS
    Pay $5.49
    Get back a $2 RR
    Final cost $3.49!
    —————————
This deal does not work. The Little Moves Slip on are there own sale @ $9.49. The in-ad q is for all the other Huggies diapers & pull ups.

  15. Jamie

I tried to use the $5 q for OsteoBiflex from the walgreens answers book with my $7 mfr coupon from my Sunday paper. Was told no by store managers from all 3 of our stores in St. Joseph MO. I even called corporate. Got the song and dance about the answers book q is really a mfr q as stated on the q. Good luck to all that try this one.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I do not have the one from the answers book, so I do not know if it is in fact a MQ or not. But you can tell by the numbers under the bar code. Does the first number start with a 5 or 9? If yes, then it IS also a MQ. If no then it is a WAGS Q and yes you can use them together (if they are one of each) regardless of what it says. Once you know for sure, if it is a wags q, just purchase the item and hand over the MQ FIRST and then the WAGS Q otherwise it may count it as a MQ and then when you try to use the MQ it will beep. Do NOT ask first if you can use both. Just do it in the order I said and it should work unless you have an overzealous cashier that feels the need to intervene in something they do not understand. HTH

  16. Kate

I saw some coupons on ebay for Dean’s milk! Great deal at Walgreens this week! I might need a rain check though.

  17. rebecacha

At chain supermarkets you can find a school bus-shaped display of Keebler, Kelloggs, Hi-C, Eggo and a couple of other major brands of snacks. They have coupon booklets that says “over $18 of coupons inside”. There is a coupon for $2off a gallon of milk any flavor, any brand when you buy 2 packages of Keebler cookies (8.5 or larger, any flavor, mix or match). Can I use this Q in combination with a Keebler coupon since this coupon is for the milk? Thanks.

    • Kate

Sometimes coupons are coded to all 3 items, so another man. Q cannot be used. The only way I find this out is to try it. Sometimes it is only coded to the milk so other Qs can be used. Maybe Collin has a better way of finding out if it will work or not. Good luck!

  18. VERO

    good morning.
im trying to find the reach toothbrush coupon in the 07/31ss and allyou july issue. but no luck. please help
    vero

  19. beth

I got the brain strong chewable vitamins for kids when they were free at rite aid(dont remember when last week or something) My 4 year old fought me to take them the first few days they are a citrus flavor and smell awful!!! But now he is useto it and takes it fine.

  20. AMY

I haven’t been to Walgreens yet this week and I want to take advantage of the Revlon sale 40% off, but in the ad it’s shown under, “Join us for a SaturDate with beauty, Saturday, August 27.” Does anyone know if that mean the sale is just on Saturday? I checked their website and it shows Revlon Cosmetics are Buy 1 Get 1 50% and mascaras are 33% off, but I don’t see 40% off on Revlon. Thanks.

    • Tara

I just stopped by for this deal. If you go during the week, you get the 40% off, but the $3RR does not print out. When I looked at the ad, it seems that the RR is only available on Saturday. I was tempted to refund what I got and get my coupons back so I could try again on Saturday, but the cashier didn’t look impressed and the four small kids in my cart agreed. 🙂 I would wait until Saturday if you want your RR as well as the sale.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Tara, thats so funny. Same thing here. I went to Wags to do the revlon deal, not realizing it was a Saturdate. I bought all of my items, plus the mascara had a bonus eyeshadow on it. Anyway, after paying my mere $4 and some change for all of the items, and not getting my $3RR, I contemplated returning everything and doing the deal again on Saturday. But, like you, the two kiddos in my cart were “over” walgreens at that point, and the cashier was pretty bugged by my 2 previous transactions. ( My regular cashier, who I LOVE going to, was on break). Anyway, I figured that paying roughly $7.25 for a pack of diapers, mascara, and 3 eyeshadows was a good enough deal.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I bought 2 eye shadows and the mascara. Used the 3 dollar off coupons but when the cashier scanned my wags coupon it only took off 4 bucks. same here paid 4. something for all 3 items but wasnt sure why it just took off 4 and not 6.

  21. Tammi

    Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treats 8 pk, Keebler 11.5-16 oz, Cheez-it 9 oz 4/$10 = $5 RR
    Deal Scenario:
Buy 2 boxes of Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treats
Buy 2 boxes of Cheez-it crackers
    Total = $10
Use the $1/2 Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treats coupons found in the 8/7 RP
Plus, use the $1/2 Cheez-It coupon found here (login or register)
    Pay $8
    Get back a $5 RR
    Final cost $0.75 per box!

I was going to do this deal scenario, but noticed a problem with the Cheez-It coupon after I was in the store. The RR says it includes the purchse of the 9oz. box of Cheez-Its, but the coupon I printed from the website is for 9.75 oz to 14 oz packages only. 🙁 I guess it’s still not a bad deal considering, I’d pay $9 (instead of $8) and get back the $5 RR so it’d be like I paid $1 per box.

  22. Lori

Anyone know what a good price on Aleve would be? My husband recently tried it and it does wonders for his back. I know it’s on sale this week, but is it truly a good deal?

  23. becky e

NICOLE-did the degree deal yesterday-bought 4 mens degree deodorants…paid $4 and got the $4RR no problem!!

  24. kim

I was at Walgreens earlier and the Huggies diaper deal didn’t work for me. They would not take the wag coupon. They said it was for the regular diapers.

  25. Tina

Does anybody know the UPC code/Walgreens Code or whatever it’s called for the Revlon coupon? I don’t have that coupon, and I’ve looked everywhere!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

There is not a code on that coupon.

      • Tina

how do they scan it if it doesn’t have a UPC?

    • Jaclyn

The Revlon Wags coupon only has a barcode that they scan with no numbers below barcode. Never seen a coupon like that!

  26. AMY

Does anyone know if the RR on the Colgate 360 toothbrush is on only one particular 360 toothbrush? There were two different 360 brushes to choose from, neither of which had the yellow RR deal sticker on the price tag, so I picked the 360 Surround. The $4 RR did not print though and I cannot figure out why. I didn’t realize it didn’t print until I got home, of course, and I plan on going back and checking with them. I did not use a Colgate RR to pay for the toothbrush, so I think it should have printed. Has anyone else had a problem with the RR not printing for the 360 toothbrush? Thanks.

  27. Kristy

Saw a post that if you buy 3 Dove Bar soaps ($1.99), you can use the coupon in this week’s ad to get them at .99 each, then a $6 RR prints out. I tried it and IT WORKED!! $3 moneymaker – love it! Also, I used the BOGO Axe Coupons from the Sunday paper (can’t remember which week it was, but it was this month) with the Buy one, get one 50% off deal at Wags and got 2 deodorants (packaged w/free body spray, so got 2 of those) and 2 things of body wash for $6 – basically 4 items (plus 2 extra in the manufacturers packaging) for the price of one. The Revlon tweezers were on sale for $1.50 and I used the manu coupon for $1/1 Revlon beauty product with the $1/1 wags monthly coupon to get the item free! There was a $1/3 scotch tape coupon in last week’s paper and I combined this with the .39 sale on scotch tape to get 3 for .17 🙂 This was my best Wags trip yet!

    • SANDRA

I tried the Dove deal last nite and it did NOT work for me. I purchased the 3 bars of Dove soap and used the WAGS coupons so .99 cents each = $ 2.97 but NO RR for $6.00 popped out…I was highly disappointed…. I purchased the soap for Sensitive skin instead of the regular one… Could that have been the problem???? Does anyone know??? Thanks

      • Kristy

I did buy the regular ones, so I don’t know if that makes a difference…

  28. Renee

Just wanted to say (not sure if anyone has seen these) but walgreens has had a run on deodorants with free body sprays attached to them. I got 6 body washes and 6 deodorants (all with free body sprays attached) then used $5.00 RR and paid 9.94 total for all of that! So be on the look out for the deodorants with the free body sprays attached 🙂

  29. Katie

Has anyone else had a problem with the RR not printing for the Revlon deal? The cashier said that for some reason I would have to buy a $10 purchase after the wags $2 coupon comes off. She said she didn’t know why but it just wasn’t printing any other way. Just curious to know if anyone else had issues. Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

funny but that exactly how i did my revlon deal. It has to come up to $10 after the walgreen coupon for the $3rr to print….but that how it works, and the manager was the one telling me!!!

  30. laura

has anyone done the deal posted yesterday on the 99 cents
dove bar soap this morning is it still printing the $6RR

  31. veronica

    good morning.
im trying to find the reach toothbrush coupon in the 07/31ss and allyou july issue. but no luck ive search on two different magazines and 4 papers dont see the coupon. please help
    vero

  32. Leslie

The Hot Pockets deal does not work as written if you just buy 3…I only got a .50/3 coupon, but still thought it was a great deal…The in-ad coupon only takes off $2.98 (so it only brings 2 of the 3 down to $1.50), and the August Coupon book only takes off $1.00…I was a bit bummed when my total was $4.49 for 3 boxes…Or about $1.50 each…I guess I should have bought 4 because it would have been cheaper! :-/
