  2. Elaine

Thanks for posting this! I’ve been looking for a good deal to use the $2/1 Tide/Gain powder detergent coupon expiring the end of this month.

  3. Christy

I already earned a gas card this month. Is it possible to get more than one?

    • Tammy

they told me you could earn one each week

    • Shayla

yes, resets every week. I’ve gotten 14 gas cards this summer thanks to my mom and mother-in-law too!

  4. Valerie

One per week. Just got mine.

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just got home from doing this. I did it a little differently though.

2 Tide powder (the last 2 within 15 miles of where I live, they told me they were discontinuing them) $5.94 ea (2 $2/1 Tide or Gain Powder)
    2 Tide liquid $5.94 ea (2 $1/1 from 7/31 P&G)
    5 Dawn dish soap with Olay $.99 ea (5 $1/1 from 8/28 P&G)
2 Dawn dish soap $.99 ea(2 $.25/1 from Home Made Simple Booklet)

    Total: $30.69

    Total After Q: $19.19
*** I used 10 ECB that were going to expire and paid $9.75 (includes tax) OOP and got the Gas Card!

    • Elaine

      That’s great!

  6. Sandra

My CVS did not have any powder detergents! Bummer….

    • Elaine

Same here. I went to two CVS this morning and they didn’t have Tide powder in stock. I will have to try again later on this week. ;-(

  7. alefiya

idid that 10$ cvs gift card deal for 5 from dealster so it means i get it al for just .73?

  8. Tara

can you use these powders in HE washers?

  9. Susan

Thanks so much for this idea. I did it exactly as you posted and got the gas card. I also did the Olay Regenerist with the coupon for the free body wash to finish up my $50 Olay purchases to get the $20 rebate. I love your site!

  10. Rosy

Do you have to do it all in one transaction?

    • yangzi

No, you have whole week to get to $30 requirement for the gas card deal. Your receipts (at the bottom) keep track on how much you have accumulated toward $30 requirement.

  11. Edie

You don’t have to do all in one transaction. Can break down into several transactions, but you must finish the deal before end of the week

  12. Diane

Sorry this is off topic, but I received a $3 off $15 grocery coupon from CVS. What is the definition of groceries? Is this good only on food, or will it work if I am buying food and paper towels? Thanks for your help!

  13. jmartcougar

yay thank you for posting this Colin I will also use my $10gc that I got from saveology a week ago!

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Do you have buy the Tide Powder or is the liquid Tide included?

    • whitney

All Tides are included, I got the liquid Free and Clear!

    • Susan

The liquid is included, but the $2/1 coupon is for the powder.

  15. Laurie M.

My Visine (Philly area) is $4.89. 🙁

    • Marina

What a bummer!! :'( Now I hv to change my whole gas deal. I hope the Dawn towards the gas deal is PLUS.

      • robin

        The plus is included

  16. Stacy

    I bought 6 Visine using 6 $3 q – Free
    1 Tide $5.96 – $2 q
    7 Dawn $6.93- (4) 75 cent and (3) 50 Cents coupons
    Paid about $7

    Got $10 gas card

  17. hotmamacoupon

    I did this scenario.
But the visine was $4.99 here in Cali, However, there is a visine coupon on the CVS website I used plus manufacturer coupon. I paid about $12 total and got the gas card.
So, I paid about $5 out of pockets(including tax for 4 tide with downy and 2 visine.

1st time I did the gas card. What a rush!!!,

    • Shayla

Thanks for the heads up on the Visine coupon on CVS website. My Visine is $4.99 and up so this will help tremendously! And yes, it’s a rush since everyone spends $ on gas anyway so might as well get “free” products!

  18. catalina

Powder Tide wasn’t marked down to $5.99 at my CVS but the liquid was so here’s my deal:
    2 liquid Tide $11.88 – (2) $1 q
    4 Visines $11.96 – (4) $3 q
    2 Dawn $1.98 – (2) 50 cent q
    4 Pringles $6.00 – $1 q
    Paid $15.82 – $10 gas card = $5.82 OOP for all 12 items 🙂

  19. Kris

I have a question about the gas card deal…. so if an item is buy 1 get one free and the item costs say $5 each and you buy 2 (buy 1 and get the 2nd free) does that count as $5 or $10 towards the $30 minimum?

  20. hotbox11

walgreen has dawn dishwashing liquid .99cent use your .75 cent off coupons and pay only .24 cent score big
