HOT! Getting Toasty! Lukewarm Starting To Melt Ice Ice Baby

Yesterday I was at my kiddos’ soccer games watching them play. And it hit me… these simple pleasures in life should be enjoyed to the fullest. Sitting on a blanket with my wonderful hubby and adorable daughter while watching my boys hit soccer balls – it doesn’t get much better than that. I am so blessed.

Today, September 11th, is a reminder to cherish every single day and live life to the fullest. I will definitely be thinking of all of those who lost their lives on that fateful day. I will also be thinking of the heroes that risked their own lives to save so many.

Today reminds me that we are a brave and courageous nation. A nation filled with hope, love, and freedom.

Nicely said. I was in Manhattan that day, 10 years ago. God bless us all. God bless America.

Today we remember the ones that lost their lives that tragic day but we also honor the ones that put their lives on the line every day to protect our freedom. Collin is married to a Marine, I am married to an Airman, I pray for our military every single day. My heart is filled with love and respect for all of them and thier families!

I was working in downtown Manhattan that day and now live in NJ…my 6 year old daughter cried when she was watching the 9/11 Remembers Memorial on TV. Even those that werent here when this tragedy happened, feel the sacrifices that so many people made for complete strangers. When her and my 8 year old son asked me where I was when this happened they couldnt even believe that I was actually in NYC working. Its been 10 years but we will forever be grateful for those that are sacrificing so much now and have been since this happened. God Bless America and God Bless all of you.

I agree, many thanks to your husband Collin for his service. My nephew enlisted this year and will leave right after graduation next year. Every time I think of it, I start to cry. I cried this morning listening to family members reading off names at the memorial. Everyone says “never forget” How could we. All of these people were so brave that day. I am so proud to be an American.

So very sorry that you lost your friend. I did not know anyone personally that lost a family member or friend, but my heart goes out to you for your loss.

Amy King worked in my office before she went to inflight. There is a lovely article on about Amy & her sister.
