I am not too crazy about Luvs, especially during night time use. The gel would usually end up all over my 3 kids when they wore them at night. Doesn’t seem to be able to handle very much pee.
I agree. I had been using Luvs and I feel like my son leaked out of every diaper. Now that I’m using Huggies and Pampers he never has a leak!
I had this problem too with a box that I ordered. But it was only with that particular box. So I think it might have been a bad batch of diapers, but other than that, have never had a problem with Luvs.
I hadn’t bought Luvs in about a year because of the gel issue, but just bought another box the other week, since the price is so great, and still had the same issue with the gel.
I don’t like Luvs at all! My oldest used to get a bad rash whenever I tried Luvs (of course, this was 7 years ago, hopefully that’s been fixed). They used to leak and sag on my 3yo. Like the tiniest amount of pee had them sagging almost to the ground. My daughter, 7mo had to borrow one from her cousin bc I was unprepared. I still don’t like them. Same sagging issues. To me, it’s worth it to just buy the Huggies. I’ve never had issues with them
HAH, I thought it was just me! Those stupid little balls got everywhere! Now I put my son in other diapers at night, the slip ons seem to be able to handle overnight really well.
Really? I’ve had the opposite experience. Luvs seem to leak the least. I buy huggies or pampers when they’re a good deal, but they don’t even have to be full to leak through my kids clothes. I can’t wait until I run out and can go back to luvs.
I agree Bethany. Maybe it has to do with the shape of the diaper on the child. Never had any issues with gel or balls leaking out. Pampers work ok for us, but are usually more expensive than Luvs! And we love luvs diapers!

Love LUVS. I’ve been spoiled by Amazon’s Subscribe & Save and Hip2Save. My 1 yr old wears a size 6 and it Amazon is still the best place to get diapers.
Always keep watch at your local drug stores AND for the deals at like Babies R Us, the largest sizes are always the last to go and I always see clearance at my drug stores (Rite Aid!)
My 2 yo wears size 6 too. I missed the days when Amazon had 20% off & $10 off diapers coupons. Now My Amazon mom membership was expired, so I rarely order diapers from them now. 🙁

My Amazon mom was expired last month. I’m no longer qualifying for Amazon mom anymore unless they offer me a new one. I can’t justify to pay $75/yr for signing up for Prime for free shipping. And if I remember correct, I used to get discount like 15% off from S&S plus 15% off from Amazon mom for the diapers. Now all I get is 15% off from S&S. 🙁

this ends up being about $4.80 a jumbo pack of luvs – seems like an O.K price for diapers but not a stock up opportunity for me considering they’re LUVS are always run cheaper than huggies/pampers.
My little one grew too fast and I have an entire unopened box 264 of Luvs Premium Stretch Diapers w/ Ultra Leakguards Size 1. If anyone in the South Jersey area is interested, reply and let me know.
I’m pretty sure you can send them back. I am going to have to do the same thing with a huge box of size 1-2.
Walmart will let you exchange diapers for other brands and sizes. Just take them up to the CS desk and they will scan it and tell you to go grab whatever other brand/size you need and make the exchange.
I love the luvs during the day but I use a pampers dry max at night to prevent leaking. I have loved amazon mom!!

I have been using this since before my 6 month old got here! When I first started wi ts deal they had amazon.com coupons for $10 off and 20% off so I was getting almost 300 for $7.70! This is still a great deal, and this is how I’ve ordered my diapers since day 1. I have another on the way, so I know ai’ll be stocking up on size 1s again!

For those of you jumping on this one, this is I’m in agreement with others, this is always the price, I just ordered mine 2 days ago at the same price and I’ve been following the pricing for a year now, no need to order quickly, you can order as you need them! In fact sometimes it’s only 9 or 10 cents per diaper!

I notice people were saying the lost their amazon prime memberships. You can share one membership with four addition family members, even if you live in different houses with different last names. So five of my family members got together and split a membership.

We LOVE Luvs. I usually don’t change our 3mo old during the night unless it’s an emergency but he’s never leaked out of it. And we’ve never had any issues with the gel getting on him. I didn’t even think that could happen! I am on my 2nd box of diapers from Amazon-$26.59 both times. Great deal! I have a friend with 8 kids-she says that if the child is leaking out it’s time to move up in size.
