I bought a toddler blanket last time they were on sale and they are fabulous! So soft and well worth the money, my boy loves his! My husband wants me to buy one for us, but I’m waiting till the adult ones go on sale because they are VERY pricey if not on sale.

If you can sew, you can make the adult size blankets. Minky fabrics are around $10-$15 per yard at JoAnn fabric store, and from the Bebe Bella site, you will need 2 yards on one side, total of 4 yards for one blanket. If minky fabric is not on sale, you can use Joann’s 40% off one regular priced item coupon (from Sunday ad) to get fabrics cheaper. If minky fabric is $15 per yard, you can make adult size blanket for around $70 (includes the cost of threads).
From the photo of the Bebe Bella site, it looks easy enough to sew this blanket if you know how to cut and sew straight.
Pay attention to the sizing! I don’t think I ever have used a blanket as small as their ‘blankee.’
I think the blankee is more of something that a toddler holds onto. My son wants his at nap time to rub the satin on his face – it is like he soothes himself to sleep. But not something to cover with – definately would need the larger blankets.
My daughter LOVES the blankee size. She can run and play while holding onto it! She knows the “small blankee” and the “big blankee” and loves them all!
The blankee is the best!! It’s the perfect travel size. I live in central TX, so she doesn’t need an actual blanket most of the year, so this has been the perfect size blankee for her.
Be careful! I ordered a blanket from them this summer when they had this deal before. LOVED IT!!!! The total cost was 20.00 including shipping. I was charged the 20.00, and then 2 weeks later there was a charge on my credit card from this company. It was 535.00. I called and they said they would refund. They didn’t and I had to dispute the charge through my credit card company. Just wanted to let everyone know:)

Wow that is horrible. Were you able to get it refunded? Did the company have any explanation? I was going to place an order but wont be taking the chance now.

Just ordered a blankee for baby #2 due in a few weeks and a toddler blanket for my daughter as a gift when the new one arrives! I can’t wait to get them!!
These are the best blankets in the world! My son has two of the toddler sized (which are perfectly sized for toddlers) and I bought an adult sized one when they were on sale!!! I LOVE it, maybe even more than my son loves his 🙂
These blankets ROCK! I ordered some baby ones for gifts, and the last time the adult throws were on sale I bought 2…and my 3 boys are always fighting for them! Just proves you are never too old for a blankee!
