Aveeno dd didn’t work for me in RI.
I did the Aveeno deal and got two $10 UP Reward. Looks like it’s only working in CA? I did it today around 8:30 pm.
The scope was $4.79 reg price so my wellness discount (20%) kicked in- yay!

I tried the Aveeno deal, and I think I’m done w/ these kind of deals! I bought 2 Aveeno shampoos, 2 Aveeno conditioners and 2 bodywashes…I used 3 of the $3 off 2 and the $2 Aveeno adperk. Well I hadn’t thought about it, but my wellness discount kicked in and brought the total below $30 when they totaled out and finished the transaction (I used my debit card) and NO Up rewards printed. I told them I wanted to return everything, because no rewards printed, but it had started tracking the balance of Aveeno at the bottom of the receipt. Well, they convinced me to buy a few more bodywashes to get over the $30 (stupid, I know!) and it STILL didn’t print any Up rewards. I have been doing coupons for several years now, so I’m not a novice (probably doesn’t sound like it though based on this experience 🙂 ), but on these type of deals, I guess I’m not exactly sure how the Wellness discount kicks in…do I always figure in the Wellness discount even on items for sale in the ad? So frustrated, I spent close to $46 trying to make this thing work and when all was said and done, they had to just put it on a gift card. Note, my husband and two kids were in the car for this hour long process, so I just called it good and left. So frustrated! Can someone explain to this couponer what my method needs to be next time? Thanks!

I got to thinking, I bet I know what occurred in my transaction: I had the 3 $3 off/2 coupons which beeped when they went through (even though I bought all the appropriate items covered by the coupons). The cashier manually over-rode that and accepted them. However the $2 RA adperk didn’t beep, SO, the Rite Aid system must be sensitive to how the coupons are accepted with these kind of deals where you have to purchase a certain amount to get an Up reward…with my 10% wellness discount, my total was $32.35, so I had met the $30. However, with the 3 $3/2 coupons accepted manually, it brought the total to $23.35 and that is what the UP reward was figuring off of. I don’ t have my receipts, because they kept them, but I remember at the bottom, there were 2 balances tracking and they were around $23 and some change– so I bet if it hadn’t been for the coupons being accepted manually and instead scanning appropriately, I would have 2 Up rewards in my hands right now! Well, now I know!
My coupons had to be manually entered too, but the UPS printed. The only thing I can think of that might have happened is that they reduced the price of the item instead of entering the coupon amount. But even at that your UPS should have printed after purchasing all those items. I’m also from Central Cali.
I am in Central CA and I got both UPs from the Aveeno deal. My coupons were entered manually but it still worked! I bought 4 hair products and 2 baby lotions.
Next time take a calculator and do the math before you get to the register. If its too hard for you then ask the cashier to do the math for you before you ring it up. Tell them you need it to add up to whatever amount it needs to add up to to get the deal. Or let them ring it up and ASK them how much it added up to before you hand over your coupons. Also, the computer system does keep up with the amount, and you should have gotten the up reward. Had you waited about 30 minutes between transactions it would have printed out for you. It takes a bit of the time for the computer system to catch up with what is going on. But you could have avoided all of that by just doing a little math before you got to the register.

the ADVIL deal doesn’t work. the 80 count liquid gels that you have to buy to use the in ad coupon are 12.99, not 6.99 (that is the price of 40 count). the 100 count caplets are 10.99 which would make them 5.99 after coupons and reward. not sure of the regular price of generics but still seems pricey to me.
Can anyone tell me the price of the smallest Gas x or Maalox to finish the Previcid deal with a 20% discount card? I am at $18.29. TIA
I found a gas-x for $5.99=$4.79 w/ 20%. I then found a $1 off printable by searching through swag bucks, I think there was also some coupons in the 7/17SS, but I don’t think they were in all the papers. ? I found a Maalox for $4.49=$3.59 w/ 20%. However, I’m not sure about any coupons, maybe the 7/17SS. I ran into the same problem today. 🙂

I would call Rite Aid about the Aveeno. I think there is a glitch in the system and it is not about your discount because the product was already on sale. The Manager called for me and gave them my account # and they said their was a glitch and they would mail me my $10 +Up. Frustrating…I know!
BUT I tried to do the PrevCaid and because of my stupid 20% off I couldn’t hit the $20 mark for the $10+Ups back. Grrrr…. something that is suppose to benefit their best customers in a lot of cases has hurt me instead. Not going for the 20% off this year….
The discount is not what is hurting you. Buy a cheap calculator and take it with you. Or watch how much it adds up to at the register BEFORE you hand over your coupons. If it doesnt ring up to enough run back and grab another bottle next time. By all means dont give up your discount and pay more!! Thats just silly!
I had the same problem with Previcid. my 10% kicked in. I bought a small bottle of Maalox to finish the deal. also the Aveeno printed one $10 up not 2. It kind of sucked.

This rite Aid guess game with the ups is a real turn off for me. I didn’t even attempt any of these deals because just last week I had a problem with my ups not printing. Now that I read about more people not getting their ups I’m glad I didn’t try. It’s a shame they don’t honor advertised deals or pulling an advertised deal mid-week…ect. I’ll stick to CVS deals for now and do the smaller deals at Rite Aid.

The Cover Girl ad worked beautifully for me at Rite Aid. A lot of product was gone but with a little calculation I walked out with 8 products including foundation, eye shadow, lipstick and blush for 1.12 and I got the $10 up and up reward. I’m ecstatic!
Went today for my 2nd round of the covergirl and didn’t get another up reward. I guess it’s only one per card? Still a great deal with or without that. Just thought everyone would like to know that bit of info. 🙂

The Aveeno deal worked for me, got two $10 up rewards. I live in Northern California. Body washes do not count. Only Aveeno sale items work, including skin care!
Can anyone help me? For the past several weeks when I go to print my hip list my walgreen and riteaid posts will only show the first part of the post up to the point where you click to read more of the deals, but it won’t show the entire list of deals that appear once you click to see more on the post. So I can’t make my shopping lists. I only have the first item or two that appear before you click to see more. I’ve tried clickign to see more and then adding it to my hip list, but it doesn’t make a difference. I still only have the tiny portion of the post, not anything that appears after you click to see more deals.
I need help with the renuzit .. they are 1.79 at my store… am i missing something…..are they on sale or not?

If I did the covergirl in one transaction and got the $10 up reward, could I then use that to help by the Prevacid for the other $10 reward in the next transaction without it hurting me getting the $14 back on the rebate?

Technically, you should be able to do so, but you never know how the rebate companies are going to look at it. I used my $10 that way and am going to stick a little note with my receipt, asking them to not use my “store loyalty cash” against me in issuing my full refund.

regardless if it didn’t beep… eye shadow isn’t a ‘face’ product, just concealer, foundations, bronzers, blush are. If you go to the Covergirl site, click on face products and thats whats listed.
