There is a .75 cents off 1 (any) Dove Hair care this can be used with the Dove B1G1F I just did this deal at Walgreens bought a shampoo and conditioner, $2.75 for both/ $1.38 each…found it at coupons.com I found it under various zipcodes including 90210

        • Heather W

There was also a .75/1 in the 10/2 RP 🙂

  3. Nicole

Cottenelle coupon in the Walgreens book is actually $1 off of 12 pk so I think it should be $3.50 after all coupons??

    • Nicole

      Cottonelle**

      • Nicole

        $3.25 excuse my math!

        • Collin

Oops… sorry about that. My mistake. Just updated the post! 🙂

          • Susan

Cottonelle seems to be ringing up at $3.50 before 1.00 off from coupon book and then a manufacturer’s coupon. I ended up with a 12 roll package for $2.00.

  4. daniel.brunk@ymail.com

    Thanks Collin!

    • Collin

      You’re welcome! 🙂

  5. Mitch

I miss my Sobe, I will pay the $.80 here, but I do prefer when it is free at Target. Those days may be over!
    thanks

Can I use a BOGO free manufacturer coupon with a BOGO 50% off sale?

    • Kay

Yeah, but I’m pretty sure it won’t work out well for you. The item you would get 50% off will be free, and it would be free when it wasn’t on sale either. What I’m saying is that you’ll be paying full price for one item either way

    • Merideth

If you do, the “free” one will be the one that is 1/2 price probably.

    • stacia

It really depends on how things ring up. Usually the Gillette, Old Spice, Axe will ring up full price for both, say $4.99 and $4.99. The cashier would scan the coupon and take off $4.99. But, at the end of your transaction, the 50% off comes off, taking another $2.50 off. So, you’d be paying $2.50 for 2.

If your items rang up $4.99 and $2.50, then the cashier would take off $2.50, not really making it a deal.

      • Shaina

Everytime that I have used a BOGO with a BOGO 50% off it has always rung up with the full price one free and paying for the half off one. I’ve never had it ring up any other way. I just did it with the Gillette BOGO coupon from the September P&G last night and only paid $2.49 for a Bodywash and Deodorant.

  7. Stacy

What exactly is the $5 mail-in-rebate for thats listed in the Caltrate/Centrum deal? I didn’t see it listed in the October coupon booklet but I didn’t look all that well either. Thanks.

    • katee

its in the monthly booklet, its on the back page on the second to back page.

  8. deana

The Walgreens takes the $2 coupon off the diapers first, so the sale is $6.99 for the first pack and they take $3.49 off the second pack, making the final cost $10.48.

  9. Jamie

Collin… A few weeks ago, I got a thing from the Catalina machine that says : spend $10-24.99 get $2, spend $25 or more get $5 coupon off your next pampers purchase. Do you think this could print in addition to the RR? The dates are 10/2-10/16.

    • Merideth

in the past, it has printed both the RR and the coupon for future purchase.

      • rachel

Is there a minimum purchase requirement for the $5 that prints, on the next purchase? Or can I use use on 1 more pack or wipes?

        • Jamie

Rachel, The deal starts tomorrow, so I’m not sure. I got one of these before and only the RR printed, so I’m nervous to do it.

          • katee

rachel, you can use it on anything pampers over $5, and jamie i’ve done this before and both worked for me! if you have the printed catalina showing the deal you can use that to show the cashier so they can fix it for you!

  10. shannyn dodge

Not sure but I think the act II popcorn coupon is for a three pack or more, atleast mine are.

    • Carrie

Mine are for a 3 pack or more, too.

  11. Chris

Bayer Extra Strength 5.99 use MQ 2.00 off and SQ 2.00 = 1.99 40 count

  12. tashashayla

Just to let everyone know, for the Cepocal Throat Drops, the sale may apply to all the flavors, but the RR will only print for the Cherry.

    • retireewannabe

Got the cherry today and no RR. I have to send in for it. Same for the Cool Touch Kleenex. I’m going to ask for my postage too!

  13. tashashayla

Also, for the Bugles and Chex Mix 2/$3 deal, there is a .60 cent coupon for one Bugles or Chex Mix on the Betty Crocker website. You have to sign up to print the coupons. Print two coupons:
    Deal- 2/$3
    Minus $1.20 with both coupons=
    2/$1.80…..90 cents each
    Even sweeter deal 🙂
Thanks Collin for your time and inspiration to help me save money for my family.

  14. Erin

I was at Safeway today and found $1/1 Right guard bodywash peelie on the bottle. This could make for a great deal with the BOGO.

  15. Nicole

Does anyone have a copy of the mail in rebate for the Brita pitcher? I bought it today and now realize that the mail in rebate is no longer on the site. Please help! angeleyes62186@hotmail.com

    • Camille

I just sent you an email with the PDF link. When there is a pdf I think I might use, I save it on my computer with the expiration date first. It can always be deleted later.

        • Camille

          Done.

  16. Daniel West

    Pert 2-in-1 is also $1.99, -$1/1 10/2 SS final cost: 99¢.

  17. Jewel

Hey Colin please add this to the Dove deal!! There is a .75 cents off 1 (any) Dove Hair care this can be used with the Dove B1G1F I just did this deal at Walgreens bought a shampoo and conditioner, $2.75 for both/ $1.38 each

  18. Jewel

Opps I need to mention Colin this Dove .75 off any Dove haircaire coupon I talk about is at coupons.com I found it under various zipcodes including 90210

    • Karisa

On the printable one, it says it’s not good with any other offer. So would this be rejected then if we were purchasing it as a BOGO offer?

  19. cindy

Someone help! I have a question for the P & G rebate . Do they need proof of the receipt for the item we buy or just the upc code?

    • Olya

I had to sent receipt too on their last rebate.

    • melissa

yes, you need the receipt and write the UPCs on the form.

  20. Amy

I bought the cherry cepacol and my rr did NOT print
It did print the cold cam one and a few others so the machine was fine.

    • Merideth

It printed for me in Louisiana.

    • Carol_R

Was yours sugar free? It will apparently only print for the non-sugar free Cherry and no other flavors or varieties. At first I purchased the Honey Lemon & it didn’t print and they exchanged it for the regular Cherry & it did print.

  21. CoffeeB

I”m not understanding what the Pepsi Coupon Inserts are that Collin is talking about. Where are these?

  22. Christa

Candy senerio for those without all you coupons. Am I right in assuming the wag oct coupon will take $.50 OFF ALL 6?

Mars, Nestle, or Hershey’s fun or snack size candy 10.23-12.5 oz 2/$5
    My Deal Scenario:
Buy 6 Hershey brand Fun Size Candy Bags 2/$5 = $15
Use 2 the $1/3 coupon Hershey, reese, kitkat https://coupons2.smartsource.com/smartsource/index.jsp?Link=PIJGD7RFGX4DS
Plus, use the $1/2 Walgreens coupon found in the October Coupon Booklet
Final cost $10 total – only $1.67 per bag

    • Melissa

If you are paying 15 for the 6 bags, then using 2 of those 1 dollar off 3, that is only 13 dollars. Then 1 dollar off 2 using the walgreens coupon, and that is 12 dollars for 6 bags, so about 2 dollars a bag.

      • Melissa

Your thinking may depend on the store. Mine wouldn’t do it, which doesn’t surprise me about walgreens.

  23. brandyhill

I am becoming so frustrated with Walgreens! I went last night to get the optic white toothpaste because it hasn’t been in stock. Well it wasn’t in stock last night either so I went to get a rain check, the manager told me that she could only write it for the sale price. The rr wouldn’t be included. Is that right? I have gotten rain checks before that we’re for the price after rr. I don’t think it’s fair to not include the rr when it’s walgreens fault it’s not available for me to purchase. Any comments would be appreciated. Oh and I called corporate and she agreed with the manager.

    • Jen

I’m not sure how it works at all Wags, and sometimes I think managers just make up their own rules, but at my Wags if I get a raincheck it is only for the sale price…no RR included. I don’t think it’s right either because they’re the ones that have very little stock of anything-especially the sale items. Anymore I don’t even bother going to Wags for the really good sales because they won’t be there anyway.

      • Barb

I don’t bother either (going to Wags for the really good sales). There is NEVER any merchandise – the “we expecting a truck on Thursday” doesn’t work for me anymore. I have better things to do than to keep going back to Walgreens.

        • jmartcougar

I agree with you I don’t even bother when the sale is so good everything is out of stock this past week I only found the wags pads in stock lol

        • Eve

You can always call and see if the item you have your heart set on is in stock before driving down there!

    • Carol_R

Walgreens & Rite Aid will not give you RR rewards on a raincheck – only the sale price.

      • Emily

Rite Aid won’t anymore? they used to! Is that in the policy?

    • Emily

I have a VERY coupon friendly Walgreens- but even they won’t give a raincheck for RRs, just the sale price. Sorry!

    • Eve

Officially walgreens doesn’t offer rainchecks on RR items because all the register reward sales are “While supplies last”.

Some store mangers however have set their store policy so that the store takes the hit by writing a rainchecks for register reward items. So YMMV.

    • momof4spoiled1s

I was told by my wags manager that the RR is offered by the manufacturer and not Walgreens. That is why they will only write a rain check for the sale price of the item.

  24. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So not so great experience at Walgreens (as usual). They didn’t want to take my .75 off two Nature Valley coupon because they rang up as 3.99 & .01. She said it made two of them free. The sign says 2/3.00. Not BOGO. Very frustrating.

    • Meg

I had that issue with shampoo once. I had a buy one get one free coupon and their sale price was like 2 for 7 or 4.99 for one. (just using numbers, can’t remember exact price) So when I tried using my coupon, they would only take off like 2 dollars because that is what the second one cost.

  25. Ginger

Wow! There is a $1.00 off Cold Calm printable coupon on Colin’s coupon database! Plus it is in pdf format so you can print it many times! Makes this a money maker!!!

    • Mary

This coupon is only for the Children’s products. Are they included in the RR?

      • Ginger

The coupon worked fine for me and I did get the RR.

        • Merideth

Did you buy children’s or did you use the children’s coupon on the adult medicine and commit coupon fraud?

          • Ginger

Oh my… Well the register did not beep or anything and the manager rang me up. I guess if they didn’t want me to use it, it would not have went through. I guess I should have read it more closely, but anyway, it did work.

            • stacy

simma down with the coupon fraud she didnt do intentionally

    • jmartcougar

I think it is only for the childrens cold calm which is not part of the sale/RR

  26. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I was just at Walgreens stocking up on Cottonelle. I also got 2 Nature valley and they did ring up $3.99 for one and $.01 for the other, but it took my $.75/2 coupon just fine. After I bought them it printed a catalina that starting tomorrow if you buy 3 you get $1 RR, 4 $2 RR, 5 or more $3 RR. I came home and got on Betty crocker and found a $.60/1 for the sweet and salty. I plan to go back tomorrow and do this deal:

4 Sweet and Salty Nature Valley Granola bars=$8
    Use 4 $.60/1 (need 2 computers)-$2.40
use the $1/2 in the October coupon booklet-$2
    pay $3.60
    Get $2 RR
    Final price $.40 per box!!!

    • Jen

I just tried this exact scenario and no catalinas printed

      • Jen

Did the catalina say only a certain type of Nature Valley? Perhaps the Sweet and Salty weren’t included

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I tried it today and it didn’t work for me either. I asked about it, but I didn’t bring the catalina print out with me and no one knew what I was talking about 🙁

    • charmedgirl14

That same Catalina noting the Nature Valley deal printed for me yesterday as well. However, I went today and tried it with both the Honey & Oats type, and the Peanut Butter ones. No RR came out either time. The cashier didn’t even know about the deal and said she couldn’t look into it unless I had the Catalina with me – I didn’t of course!

      • Mardi

I bought 4 oats and honey and 2 peanut butter and received a $3 RR reward!

  27. Carol_R

Note: It appears that the RR will only print for the Cepacol that is Cherry & has sugar in it – not the sugar free or any other flavor.

Also, the Nivea $3/2 coupon states on it that only 1 coupon per store visit so you can only use 1 coupon per transaction.

  28. LucyG

Hello ladies, I have yet another question (sorry, I’m only 2 weeks into coupon-ing)

I bought the Cardio Juice ($6.99 – $6.99 mail in rebate) and the Brita 5 cup Pitcher ($10.00 – $5.00 coupon – $10 mail in rebate) within the same purchase. I didn’t realize that both the Cardio Juice and Brita mail in rebates require the original receipt (no photo copies). What do you ladies recommend I do? Can I go back to the store and ask to return & repurchase the Brita? What happens to the $5 coupon I used to buy it?

    Thanks for your suggestions!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I would take it back and tell them the situation, they can either return and repurchase the item, or reprint your receipt. They would just give you the full price back and then charge you the full price, so don’t worry about the coupon. On the Cardio Juice, where was your rebate? I opened my package and can’t find a rebate form.

      • LucyG

Thanks! The rebate was attached to the label of the package.

    • Tina

      Hi Lucy,
In the past, I’ve been able to get the manager to issue a line item computer receipt which should give you an extra “receipt” for rebate purposes in the event they don’t allow you to just repurchase the items.

  29. Barb

Hey Colin thanks for all the work you do on your site. I check it constantly so I don’t miss anything good! I did wonder if you could reverse the list making though to just checking or clicking the things you do want rather than clicking off the things you don’t. I think it would be a time saver if its possible.

  30. Lisa

Just did the nature valley deal. It’s 2/$4 in the circular, but there was a different price by the product, at both stores I was at today. But it did ring up fine, $3.99 for one and .01 for other, as noted above. So most likely the shelves won’t be cleared AS FAST for this deal because of the confusion this causes. Also, the box looks different than the box on the coupon, but it still worked fine. ALSO, I was able to do the deal on the variety pack (blue box). Cinnamon, oatmeal, and peanut butter. Can’t wait to eat this! And I got the same catalina as anonymous did, above. At $1.13 per box, this is a hot deal (better than my aldi’s prices).

  31. jen

Did anyone find the $3/2 nivea lip care in the RP? I have asked a lot of people and no one has it in the insert 🙁

    • Heather

I found it in TN. Sorry you couldn’t find it! =[

    • Camille

It was in the KC Star.

  32. Heather

I noticed there was a $1/1 12 pk or larger of cottonelle coupon in (i think) the 9/11 SS. Its a mfn coupon, but it says redeemable at family dollar. It can still be used at walgreens, correct?

    • Camille

Only if it says, “Only redeemable at …” can you not redeem it anywhere you choose.

    • Heather

      It worked!

  33. couponqueen757

    Collin,

Thank you again for all the great posts. Thank you again for reminding us to be considerate of our fellow couponers and share. With that being said, I was in my local Walgreens in Yorktown, VA today to get the Nivea deal. I noticed that none were on the shelf and was quite shocked to see 2 fellow couponers (binders and all) with their shopping carts filled with the Nivea. Sad to say that I was not able to score that deal but my fellow couponer was at the next register and I lost count after the cashier rang up 30! Ladies, please be considerate and share. We are all trying to score these great deals!

    • momof4spoiled1s

One of my Walgreens won’t let people do that with items on sale.

    • laura

the coupon stated one coupon per store visit per item!!!!!!
