If you don’t have the responsibity chart please get one! Great Value and while we don’t use the board..I put three or four of the magnets up on sat. morning with my kids “colors” of smiley faces..once everyone has completed their task..we do a special treat together (park, icecream..whatever) My kids are toddlers so we only use a few, but keep the behavior magnets up at all times so the kids understand we expect good manners/behavior on a daily basis. Would reccommend to anyone who has behavioral/displinary issues with their kids..My kids get Super excited when they complete a task! and I LOVE The extra help! 🙂

Those responsibility charts are great. I picked an extra up as a gift from Micheal’s craft using the 40% off coupon in the paper and the receiver loved it.

I agree, I have one of these charts and it is a huge motivator for my 4 year old daughter! We keep a prize bin under our bed (filled with little things like plastic rings, lip glosses, special cups, dollar store toys etc) and at the end of the week we count up her smileys from all the tasks she’s completed… Then she gets to go “shopping” in the prize bin! Some things cost five smileys and some are ten. This is such a fun chart, I have had a lot of people ask where we got it and whenever we use it consistently it really improves her behavior! HIGHLY recommended!

Okay ladies, I’m trusting you. I have been having such difficulty lately with my 3.5 year old. I think he would rather jump up and down and sing songs all day than follow directions. Time outs and taking away ALL toys doesn’t seem to work so I got the chart and the train (which will go in aforementioned ‘prize’ box). We’ll see if the carrot will work better than the stick.

There’s a great deal on Amazon on Baby Trend Sit N Stand Tag-A-Long Stroller in Red Rock for $ 78.54. All other sit and stand stroller go for at least $ 130. I don’t know if this is worth mentioning or not, though 😀

We got my son a Trunki for his b-day and he loved it! Its perfect for travel and he loved pulling it along. If you live near a Craftwarehouse (Oregon and Washington), they have the Trunki for $15.
