HOT! Getting Toasty! Lukewarm Starting To Melt Ice Ice Baby

I have the most wonderful, giving, funny, generous, kind, intelligent, inspiring, loving, caring, selfless, fun (and the list goes on!) readers…

I hope you all know how much I appreciate each and every one of you! Through this blog I have learned about the importance of putting yourself in others’ shoes and having compassion for others. And… well, how incredibly amazing it is to be able to give. It is so true – giving is so much better than receiving! Don’t understand this statement? Start giving and you’ll know exactly what I mean.

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. ~Leo Buscaglia

Thank you all for showing me exactly what life is about! πŸ™‚

Chrissy’s kindness is very inspiring! It is so refreshing to hear about random acts of kindness. It makes me think of something that happened to me last year. I was in Target a week or so before Christmas, right before closing. The lines were horrible! There was a woman behind me who only had a couple (children’s) items, and she was on her cell apologizing for being late to pick up her kids. I had a cartful of stuff and many coupons (of course!) and didn’t want to hold her up, so I just let her go ahead of me, she thanked me (more than I felt was warranted!), and I didn’t think any more of it. When I got to the register, the cashier handed me a $10 bill and told me the woman had left it to help pay for my groceries. I almost started to cry. Little did that woman know, my husband had just been laid off from his job, and we had a 4 month old at home to support. What a blessing it was to us at that challenging time!

Good for you Chrissy! I cant even imagine how happy those little girls are going to be! Let alone the joy that is going to be in Katie’s heart when she sees her girls so excited. I really believe it is the little things in life that matter. Karma, Pay it Forward, or whatever you want to call it, REALLY is out there and you will get hit with it when you least expect it. Trust me I know. We have recently fallen on hard times and the amount of support and the generosity of those surrounding me has been what’s brought me to tears. Thank you for letting us all know that angels do walk among us!!!

Wow its so nice to know that their are people out there like this. It made me cry. So many people having such a hard time with the economy being so bad and those who are doing good still are willing to help others is so touching.
I saw a story on my fb friends page. She was at a pharmacy and an elderly woman was trying to pick up her prescription but found out she didnt have enough money. A gentelman waiting in line heard her and paid for her prescriptions for her. How sweet.
