As most of you know, Walgreens released a corporate coupon policy a couple months ago… finally! You can view the policy here. Be sure to print a copy and bring it with you when you shop in case any issues should arise. You can also now print Walgreens Instant Value Coupons online here. *NOTE: If you can find the monthly coupon booklet in-store, save your printer ink.

    Thanks Collin!!

    • Collin

      You are most welcome! 😀

  2. Katie

Does anyone know if the Dove deodorant sale typically includes men’s too, or just women’s? Thanks!

    • Keisha

Unless is says Dove Men+Care then it’s only the women’s. They are usually pretty specific if it’s going to include the men’s line.

  3. AnnaM.

    Thanks!

I have a Recyclebank question. I just got a notice saying we could sign up but we have to pay $7.99 a month. Does everyone have to pay to have their recycling count toward points? Just seems kind of weird that they’ll only count points them if we pay extra.

    • AnnaM.

Let me clarify that I recycle anyway. It’s just that I don’t get points. Seems like I’ll just be paying the money to get the points since the same stuff is going in the bin either way. How many points make it worth paying the $8 a month?

      • Ashley57

I can give you my experience. I have had recyclebank about a month and with 300 points I got $7 off a Brita filter (plus the $10 rebate I found on Hip2Save made it free), $10 off my meal at Ruby Tuesdays, and $2 off my Kashi cereal, a $19 savings. Saying that, I am not sure how many points recycling will get you because they do not have that in my area. I just do the free quizzes and such. They have McDonald’s coupons, gift cards, etc. If you figure out how many pts you will be getting per month, it could be worth the 7.99. Good luck!

        • AnnaM.

          Thanks for letting me know!

      • amyjk

i would just join for free and not worry about having your recycling count… there are SO many great rewards you can earn for FREE (just a little bit of your time) that i would never pay.

        • AnnaM.

Thanks! I’ve already been doing the free things. I just wasn’t sure it’d be worth the other. It seems like it would take forever to get a $10 gift card at 2500 points. Looks like the other discounts and coupons are the way to go.

          • Lynne

I get recycling points through my trash company….however I do not have to pay extra for it. It is all just included. Each company is different I’m sure but I get 2.5 points per pound recycled. I average around 200-250 points per month.

          • Michelle L.

We get between 115 and 175 points twice a month for our recycling. We are a family of 6. We pay for our recycling services — I think it’s $9.95 per month. That’s in addition to the cost of our local trash service. Hope that helps!

    • dropofrain

Anna, do you pay anything to take your garbage away? Is it on the top of that? Our town signed up a contract with this company last year, so I think it did cost us about $3 more than we paid for garbage in the past. I mean ALL of us in town, regardless if you recycle anything and/or you created online account or not. They pick up recyclables every other week and I get my account credited automatically , somewhere between 60-75 pts every time I set their bin to the curb. My friend recycles too but she threw away a welcoming letter with the online account info and she didn’t bother signing up. I pay the same rate for garbage services as she does, so I do not pay separate monthly fees for using Recyclebank online. Not sure why it would be different in your situation.

  4. Emily

Thank you Collin for all that you do.

    • Collin

Awe, you are so welcome! 🙂

  5. Amanda

For the Theraflu, can we use the IVC? Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I was wondering that too but the ivc is for 2 pack and 12 packs and the sale with RR is only for 6 packs so no good

    • Jmartcougar

No because the ivc is for 2 pack or 12 packets and the RR are for the 6 packs

    • Carrie

      No, they’re for different sizes.

    • Amanda

Thanks all! Wasn’t sure which size was on sale. 🙂 Still an awesome deal.

  6. Olivia

I have $2 Reach toothbrush coupons but it says “Redeemable at Walmart”. Does this mean I can only redeem it at Walmart, no where else? I know this sounds like a stupid question but I just want to make sure. Thanks, 🙂

    • Carrie

As long as it doesn’t say “redeemable only at Walmart” you should be able to use it.

      • Olivia

Oh good, that will give me a free Reach Total Care toothbrush and $1.01 money maker with the RR. Thanks,

      • Teresa

You can use them at Publix too!

        • Olivia

Thanks. Unfortunately, we don’t have a Publix in town. 🙁

      • Dottie

FYI: If the coupon states ‘manufacturers coupon’ along the top it can be used anywhere that coupons are accepted! I get alot of Walgreens coupons from the Catalina Dispenser that has the Walgreens logo on them and I do use them elsewhere.

    • Ann

I have those coupons as well and was wondering if they will honor it at WAGS.

      • kelly

My Walgreens doesn’t do it, although I don’t think there is anything wrong with it. I hope yours will! Good luck –

      • Nicole G.

For what it’s worth, my CVS took the coupon without any hassle, so hopefully WAGS should without problem.

        • melissa

you’re lucky, my CVS wouldn’t take it b/c of the new coupon policy (they have it taped behind the register now, along wiht the Q&A part, which says they don’t accept manuf q’s with other store logos.)
anyway, I have been able to use other logo’d q’s @ Walgreens & Rite Aid in the past.

          • Amy

I have 4 of those coupons. Can I buy 4 and will 4 RR’s print? Im new

            • Olivia

              Thanks everyone.
Amy, you will need to make 4 separate transactions in order to receive 4 RRs.

            • Olivia

And don’t use the RR you receive from the first transaction to pay for the second transaction, you will not get the RR for the second item if you do that. Hope this helps.

    • kswag

my wags will not accept my coupons that have kroger at the bottom even though they are a manufacture coupon. I’ve had several different stores here in Georgia tell me no.

    • Diane L.

I wasn’t able to use this coupon at Walgreens this morning. Even though I pointed out the fine print that states, “Redeem at Food, Drug or Discount stores accepting coupons”, the manager would not accept it.

      • Olivia

Diane, I am sorry. I just came back from Walgreens also. My store received them without any problem. The coupons beeped too. If you go there again this week, you might ask them to let the beeper decide. No harm to try.

  7. becky

Everyone remember that there is also a P & G rebate out there that will be going on until 10/31. It is in support of breast cancer research. Covergirl is one of the products on the list. So if you have some of the $8/2, you help others and yourself. You just have to buy $50 worth of the P&G items on the rebate list and get back $10. With those big coupons, it shouldn’t be too hard. Let’s all remember those that are fighting for their lives while we go on with ours.

    • Cindy

Thanks so much for that awesome post! I am a 31 yr old mom of two who was recently diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. I was first diagnosed 4 yrs ago at age 27 with a lesser form of breast cancer(DCIS). All of us fighters and survivors definitely appreciate seeing encouragement like your post. Thanks so much!

      • Diane L.

I’m so sorry you are going through this difficult experience. I’ve also had breast cancer that started out as DCIS, and I’m now approaching 7 years of being cancer-free after treatment. Hang in there! You will be in my prayers.

        • becky

You know how they say, “Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, he will eat for life.”. That is how I think of couponing. There are always days where you have a couple of extra “fish” that you can share with your neighbor. From natural disasters, pet adoption centers, military families, to medical research….we can all help. Colin has taugh each of us to “fish”. Now, go out and share your fish with someone who can use it.

        • becky

God bless you both. I will be keeping you in my prayers.

  8. MARK

The Reach coupon in the 9/11 SS is a TARGET coupon so it won’t work on below deal:

Listerine PocketPaks 72 pk, Reach Total Care toothbrush or floss 30 yards $2.99 = $2 RR
    Deal Scenario #1:
Buy Reach Total Care toothbrush $2.99
Use the $1/1 coupon found in the 4/17 SS, 9/11 SS or in the July issue of All

    • Collin

Oh oopsie! Thanks for the heads up… I am gonna go remove that coupon from the scenario.

  9. Mitch

I love when Walgreen’s lets me stock up on Arizona Iced Tea for $.50 (diet of course). That is a worthwhile deal.
I also have 2 $5 Schick coupons, I like to have theose around for emergencies and I also like to get stuff for free!
    thanks again!
And, are you on the Todays show’s website??
    http://www.gaynycdad.com

  10. Leighann

So appreciate all you do…thank you so much Collin!!

    • Collin

      You’re welcome! 🙂

  11. shannon

Can we use the coupon for Suavitel if it says “Suavitel Ultra” on it? That’s what mine reads.

    • Collin

      Hi Shannon,

Thanks for making me aware of this… I am going to remove the coupon, as it appears just the regular Suavitel is on sale not the Ultra variety. Thanks again for bringing this to my attention.

  12. brandimc

On the Maxi pads – 18pk $2 = 2RR, do they limit you on how many you can buy?

    • Olivia

I believe you can only buy 1 per transaction in order to receive the $2 RR.

      • Olivia

I am trying to say is if you buy 2 or more in one transaction you will only receive 1 $2 RR.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You can only buy 1 per transaction to get the RR. Also, don’t pay with the RR you get in tran#1…..if you do, the new RR won’t print for tran #2.

      • Nicole G.

I learned that the hard way with a razor promo that was going on awhile back! I said, “Shouldnt a register reward have printed?” The cashier told me that if you use a RR reward from say “Schick” & purchase a Shick item, another RR wont print because you’ve already recieved one.

        • Olivia

Yup, I know how you felt. I made the same mistake yesterday when I used my $1 Halls RR. I took it as a $1 lesson. Somehow, my heart still aches….:-(

          • Nicole G.

right? even though i got the razor for “free” I was expecting to get RR back!

  13. Elizabeth

My Wags had .50/1 peelies on the maxi pads a couple weeks ago. If you can find these packs you’ll have a small moneymaker!

    • dolly

      thanks 4reminding…..

    • Carrie

Also, if you bought these a few weeks ago the catalina machine was spitting out coupons for $0.50/1.

      • Brandon

The catalinas are Wags Qs and have a 4-digit code of (2312) so if you have nice cashiers, they can input the code without needing the coupon.

  14. Samantha Booker

The $1 Popcorn Indiana coupon is still available on Facebook: wwww.facebook.com/popcornindiana ( “Like” and click “coupon”) Does not seem to be limiting prints. I finally purchased this product a few weeks ago and it IS wonderful! 😀

    • jmartcougar

thanks I was not seeing it anywhere in my coupon binder and want to try them lol

    • mackyjane

Careful with using these at Walgreens. Because it’s a PDF type print, some WAGs won’t accept these (beepage) because they don’t always print correctly. There isn’t a “limit” because they’re the PDF type prints, and don’t use the normal coupon printer…which limits your number of prints.

      • jmartcougar

Even it it beeps they can enter the number from the coupon and it should go right through. I remember I got the krill oil this way with a pdf type coupon

    • Camille

Thanks for the heads up on the coupon. I purchased six a few weeks ago with the coupon from the newspaper, but printed six more of these. My husband loves the Kettle Corn.

    • Nicole G.

Awesome! I was so sad that I couldnt find a coupon…their popcorn is DELICIOUS!

  15. brandimc

Do they allow you to make 2 transactions in one stop or does it just depend on the cashier?

    • Kari

Depends on the cashier and if your seperate transactions involve register rewards. Both of the wags I frequent limits RR’s to one per person per visit.

    • mackyjane

Always let your cashier know that you’d like to do more than one transaction. If there is a line of people you may want to do one transaction and then hop back in line, or let the others go in front of you.

    • Laura

It can depend on the cashier and also I have noticed at my Walgreens lately they have been limiting to one of each item a day.

    • jmartcougar

my store limits to one transaction per customer they even post sign outside the window lol

    • Keisha

The stores in my area ask that if you have multiple transactions that you go to the cosmetics line.

  16. Ashley

Is the cottonelle RR still going on?

    • mackyjane

through 10/31 but the IVC is only good through next Saturday.

    • Olivia

I think it is on until 10/30 or 10/31. However, if you want to use the $1 in store coupon, that ends on 10/22.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Cottonelle will only print the RR on the Purple Ultra 12 pack.

  17. LaToya

Does anyone know if the Bayer coupon was regional? I’m in Idaho and it’s not in my 9/11 Red Plum.

  18. brandimc

Do you guys have any tips once you get to the register. I feel like a mess as I’m 1.) trying to ‘watch’ the monitor to make sure she rings it up the right price, 2.) trying to unload my basket 3.) trying to find the WAGS ‘coupon book’ page with the right coupons 4.) trying to find the coupon in the weekly ad and 5.) trying to hand over manufacture coupons.

    Any tips???

    • merideth

My best tip is to do small transactions. That way everything is easier to see. I even go back several times during the week so I don’t have to fret over lots of transactions on sunday.

    • Amanda

First thing I learned is to use a shopping cart and check out at the beauty counter! I do 2-4 transactions depending on the deals and the cart keeps me organized and keeps my hands free. I have all the items for each transaction in separate corners of the cart. lol I also have all the coupons ready, paper clipped and in the right order (manufacturer, store, RR.) I even paper clip the coupon book on the right page so it’s ready to go. I bring scissors so that if I need an ad coupon I get that before starting to shop. I do admit that I’m bad about watching the register to make sure prices are right. My store is great though and will gladly return anything I buy if a mistake happens. I know some people do spreadsheets and keep their coupons in order in an envelope.
That will definitely make it easier but that’s a little too much work for me. 😉 It gets easier with practice.

      • Mersadie

Wow I agree with you I do the same from the shopping cart, using the corners, and paperclips it really prevents me from making mistakes or missing anything because I can stop and check to see the coupons, products and filler items are together and separated into each different transactions I also ask the cashier if its alright for me to do a couple of transactions. Mainly this past week because I had 4 rr that were expiring on the same day about $64 worth expiring within the same week.

    • LaToya

I have my transactions all written out and then I place them in the cart in their transaction order….and I have my coupons – even the store ones – in order together as well. So when I get there I just have to load/watch/coupon/pay. Don’t be afraid to ask them not to start until you have it all sorted out – so you can watch 😉

      • Camille

I usually do two or even three transactions. I bring a couple of the reusable bags to put the second and third orders in as I collect the items. That way the items don’t get messed up. Also, I bring a clipboard and jot down the RR I expect for each transaction. If it doesn’t add up after the first, I check to see what went wrong before making the same mistake on the other transactions. I try at the completion of all my transactions to step aside and glance at the receipt to see if anything stands out. It is easier to get a refund at the time than to take care of it on a return trip.

    • jmartcougar

I like to organize my coupons in an envelope with the store name on it one day before that way I am not hassling at the register I also use sticky notes to write what I am going to buy hope that helps!

      • Nicole G.

That’s exactly what I do. I live so close to 3 different walgreens & a CVS that if it’s super busy in the store, I dont mind coming back later at a less busy time or trying a different walgreens. Before I go to a register, I find an empty aisle, organize my basket to make sure all of my coupons are valid & each item matches the coupon & that I stack the coupons in the order I want them to scan them. When I get to the register, I simply put my basket on the counter & dont bother unloading it…the cashier can do that. I let them know that I have a lot of stuff & a big stack of coupons. I find that if you’re willing to chat & joke with a cashier that they are usually more coupon friendly & just friendlier overall.

        • jmartcougar

yes a friendly smile can go a long way when dealing with coupons!

    • Keisha

I have felt the same way for a while & it’s 10x worse when I have to take my kiddos with me! I’ve started writing down what items I’m going to buy, which coupons go with those items & the RRs I should be getting. I also have used sticky notes on my coupons so I don’t get them confused. When I get to the cosmetic counter I only put one transaction on the counter at a time. One of the cashiers at my store is a couponer too, so she helps me keep things organized & gives me tips on how to do things 🙂

      • sandra

Take your time before you get to the register. i also bring along 2 filler just in case. I stand at the side before i get to the register and get everything together. If i have 2 transaction, i put a basket in my cart to separate it.

  19. mars7282

I have used the 8/2 covergirl coupon on lipstick at rite aid and it went through just fine-just wondering if anyone else was able to use these on all covergirl products (they pretty much all go on your face!)

    • Joanne

It works fine for everything covergirl at cvs.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Used mine at Rite Aid two weeks ago and purchased a mixture of powder, eyeshadow, lipstick, blush etc. No problems with the coupons beeping at all.

    • Anonymous

This is COUPON FRAUD. Please do not do this or companies will stop putting out high dollar coupons like these!

      • Andreadee

How is this fraud? The coupon says for face items. It went through without beeping on eye, lips, cheek, foundation, tools, accessories, etc. items.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How is this fraud? Blush is a suggested purchase in the scenarios which goes on your cheeks which is part of the face so why wouldn’t other products that go on your lips or eyes (also part of the face) be included?

        • Jodi

Cosmetics companies consider eye/lip products separate from “face” products, which include: bronzer, concealer, foundation, blush.

        • LH

The Covergirl website specifically states that “face” products are: Foundation, Powder, Concealer, Blush, Bronzer and Face tools — powder brushes, blush brush and powder puffs.

Here is the link they supplied with their alert for the $8.00/2 coupon on their FB page. https://www.covergirl.com/beauty-products/face-makeup

  20. Cherry

I have a question with the suave deal…i got 2 free suave professional coupons from the quiz they have, I’m just wondering if I could use those coupons and be considered part of the $10 promo with $3 RR even if I’m going to get them for free? Thanks!

    • Sarah

I have used free coupons on other items that were part of a RR deal and they worked just fine. Hope that helps!

      • Cherry

        thanks!

    • Keisha

You should be able to because you just have to ring up $10 worth of product not pay $10 at the end of the transaction. 🙂

    • jmartcougar

yes I did it once with free coupons and the manager who was checking out at the time threw my RR away. Make sure to get those RR!

      • sandra

Wow, I would of returned the items. I can see if it did not print but for him to throw it away, that is not right. I also would of made a complaint to the company.

    • sara

I got $1/2 coupons from the videos. Does anyone know if I can use the BOGO coupon as well as a $1/2 coupon or does Walgreens not allow this?

  21. Camille

Colin, you asked about ideas for using the CoverGirl $8/2 coupons. There is an offer out to get a nice set of CoverGirl makeup brushes by mail when you buy two of four specified products. I used my coupons for these.

    • Suzy B.

just looked up the deal and the purchases had to be made by the 14th, bummer. Looks like you have a nice set of brushes coming. Nice find 🙂

      • Camille

You’re right. I did the brush deal last week and didn’t recall that the products had to be bought by 10/14.

  22. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Any good deals on diapers?

    • Dee

Nataliya, I have a coupon for $10 off 2 Pampers, if you would like it. It is good on the HUGE boxes of Cruisers (112+) or Baby Dry (136+).

You (or anyone else interested) can email me at deerayfw at yahoo dot com.

      🙂

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thank you Dee check your e-mail!

  23. Shayla

I used my (3) $8/2 Covergirl products (one from my paper, one from mom’s, one from in-laws) to purchase at CVS when they have CG products BOGO1/2 off. I easily reached $30 on my Beauty account and only spent $6 plus tax. Plus, saving them to submit for the P&G spend $50, get $10 rebate.

  24. Carol_R

Thanks Collin for the awesome matchups!

  25. brandimc

Would the $1 off Theraflu in the Oct. Wags coupon booklet also work on the theraflu deal scenerio?

    • jmartcougar

      no read post above 🙂

  26. Dana

There is a $1/2 Quaker Oats Quick, Instant or Old Fashioned printable coupon available, but only to Coupons.com Savings Club members.

  27. Jamie

I have a quick question, last week they had the Walgreens brand 5 blade razor on sale for $3.99 with a $3RR. The store I went to was wiped out and I got a raincheck, will I still be able to get the RR for it if they get more in stock and buy one when the sale is done??

    • Diane L.

I’m not sure if this is the case everywhere, but my Walgreens won’t give Register Rewards for a raincheck.

      • sandra

No you can’t get the rr on a raincheck. Rite aide use to also give you their rewards on rainchecks but they have stopped too.

  28. Jessica

Schick Hydro 3 or 5 blade razor system or cartridges 4 pk $8.49 = $4.50 RR

I have coupon to get a Schick hydro razor for FREE!! It came in the mail 🙂

If I use that will I still get the RR? 🙂

    • charmedgirl14

I got this coupon in the mail as well. I used it this morning and did get the register reward. However, the cashier only credited $3.99 for the razor, rather than $8.49, saying that I would be getting the remainder back as the $4.50 in register rewards so it would be free then. I was a little bummed as I thought I would get credit for $8.49, since the coupon max is $10.99, but I get what she is saying in that it will be free since I also got the RR.

      • sandra

What!!! It is not her role as cashier to make sense of the policy. Next time call the manager.

      • jmartcougar

thats not right she should have taken off the full 8.49 since the max is 10.99 I would call corporate I never heard of this lol

      • charmedgirl14

I sent corporate a request through their website. I thought this was kind of odd as well. Now that a few others think so too, I figured we better get this straightened out. It’s going to bother me until I hear back from them now!

        • Jessica

Yeah that isn’t right at all!! I am going to go try at my walgreens and see what they do… if I have to pay any cash out of pocket for the razor then I will just take my coupon back and leave. A register reward to me really isn’t a discount since it isn’t money off of that item you just bought… it is money you have to use on a future purchase. I do hope that you are refunded your money! 🙂

      • charmedgirl14

I did get a response from the manager at that Walgreens. They will be refunding me the difference since it should have been for $8.49 🙂

  29. Katie

Is the Cottonelle still printing a RR?

    • irene

      Yes in the Atl area!

  30. becky

And while you are at it…teach them a little about “fishing”. LOL

  31. jmartcougar

a new coupon for kettle chips just popped up zip 90210 for $1.00 any kettle brand 4 oz or larger!

  32. Av8r

    Help! :0)
I have a Walgreens questions on using RRs. I bought 5 items yesterday and used 2 man. Qs and 3 RRs. Its my understanding that a Q and a RR are both considered manufacturer Qs so I can only use one per product, right? Well I get home and realize that I one of my items is not the price that I thought it was, so am I allowed to return it? My total for everything was about $16 with all Qs and RRs and the item itself was about $17 (Didn’t technically use a Q on it). How would it work if I returned it? Also, if I have $15 in RRs and I have a $13 purchase, will it let me use my RR and just not give me change back? I hope all that makes sense and any feedback would be greatly appreciated :0)

    • Av8r

Nevermind all, just got back from walgreens and got all of my answers. PS.. the cottonelle RR did print out for me here (Winston Salem NC area) :0) I got a schick razor and 3 packs of TP for $11 plus $7.50 in RRs back. Good day :0)

  33. Jane Moritz

I dont know why everyone loves walgreens as they will not let you use RR’s with a manufacturers coupon so wheres the big savings since I use a coupon on everything. I’ve had to throw away so many! riteaid and cvs let you use both!

    • Kim

I take them to Jewel and other grocery stores in my area that accept manufacturers coupons.

    • serena

I’m not sure what you mean, I use both, and so does everyone on this site.

    • merideth

That’s why you use cheap fillers. i’ve found 9 cent items in clearance that i use so my item to MQ matches up.

      • Jen

From my experience you can use manu coupons with RRs if you don’t have more coupons than items. So say you had 2 manufacture coupons and 1 RR but only had two items, you would have to buy something in addition to those two items that you weren’t going to use a manu coupon on (hence the cheap filler like meredith said).

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

we buy cheap filler items to be able to use the RR. So you buy a cheap $.15 item , but get to save and additional $4 off, that is worth it to me!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just a small fyi about RR’s and Walgreens. Register Rewards come from the MANUFACTURER, which is why you can only use one Q per item, because these RR’s are considered manufacturer coupons.

  34. Jennifer

I’ve never had so many problems as I did this morning. And now, sitting here on my couch, I realized there are even more problems lol The Peeps Wags Q didn’t take off anything. The cashier wrote on the B1G1 free Suave Qs “$3.91”, but there is no credit on my receipt. And only one of the Bayer Qs was applied. I guess that’s what I get for trying to keep a 2 year old occupied instead of keenly watching the cashier. Ugh. I’ll have to go back this afternoon and hope they still have the coupons in the drawer?!

  35. Chellsy

When you buy the Listerine pocketpaks at Walgreens they are printing a $1/1 or $2/2 catalina in addition to the RR. The Fresh Burst flavor was definitely printing the $1/1 coupons for me every time that made the next purchase FREE…deal works especially well when alternating with the $2RR for the W Maxi Pads

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

is the catalina for the listerine or ?????
      like a rr

      • Carrie

It’s a catalina q for $1 next purchase plus the RR prints.

Hi, I just went to WG this afternoon and try out the aquafphor deal with the lip repair- it did not ring up as buy one get one 1/2 off. I went back to the cashier and she told me that it did not include the lip product and then she show me the ad that says aquaphor skin product . So my question is what should I do? Should I call the coorporate office? Please advise. I already use both of my coupons and the walgreen coupon for it so I can’t get it back.

    • Shana

The same thing happened to me. I think I’ll probably just keep them and chalk it up to a learning experience.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

take it back and get the amount your paid, plus the amount of your coupon value back. You will not get back the value of the Walgreens coupon however. They will be getting reimbursed for the Manuf. Coupon so they can not refuse to refund that amount to you. So say the product was $5, and you used a $1 MQ and $.50 WQ and you paid the remaining $3.50 oop you should receive $4.50 back. HTH

    Hey Hip2Savers. . .

I have a question for anyone who regularly buys Miralax (or generic equivalent). I’ve recently had to put my daughter on this, and it sounds like she may be continuing for quite awhile. I really have no good gauge of what is a good price, as I just bought it for the first time a few weeks ago.

This week’s deal at Walgreens is the best I’ve seen so far (30 dose for $18.99 – $3 mq and $4RR)

So my question is, should a buy a few now, or can I do better if I wait? (I’m cool with generics, if cheaper, too)

    Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Jill I would look on ebay too, but if you want to work out a deal, I have a bunch of the dulcolax balance (same stuff as Miralax) that I can possibly sell to youor for fairly cheap. Contact me at queenb@hilaraious.com if you are interested.

    • Kristina

Jill, that is a good price with the incentives. My son has to have everyday as well. We usually get ours at Costco. We can get a 3 pack of the 30 dose bottles of their Kirkland brand for around $23.00, which is way cheaper than buying Miralax.

I just went to walgreens today. Spent 2 hours there. (had my 3 kids with me – ugh). Anyway, everything worked fine, except I missed a 2 dollar coupon, which stinks, but over all – a good day at walgreens.
I went to the cosmetic line, like you guys suggested, did 2 transactions, and asked if she would go ‘slow’. She was very nice and helpful.

Spent about 80 dollars and saved 85 dollars in sales and coupons!

    • Olivia

I feel your pain. I sent my husband to WG yesterday, and yes, he lost a $2 coupon too. He said the cashier scanned it but it did not show on the receipt. Grrr….

Wondering if someone could help – I bought 3 Suave body washes, 2 lotions and a $1.99 body pouf. I used a buy 2 get one free coupon for the body washes, a $1.50 off 2 for the lotions, a $3 RR from last week and a $3 off $10 purchase for the Walgreens grand opening. I didn’t get my RR for the $10 suave purchase – is it because I used too many coupons or did something not work?

    Thanks!!

    • Leticia

The $3 RR that you used was it from the SUAVE company?? if yes that was it.. IF not.. then mb it was the $3 off $10 those walgreens Q are a pain, sometimes it could really mess your whole transaction. A couple weeks ago with the buy 10 of revlon ge 3rr some of us didnt get the RR and some others did some off us blaimed the walgreens Q.. dont know what is it … BUT HTH =)

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Suave is a Unilever brand – if you used a RR from Unilever then your Suave purchase RR will not print.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It was most likely the $3 off $10 coupon. It is a walgreens coupon and tends to reduce any requited amount so if you had to spend $10 and that is what your bought, the Wags coupon brought your total too low so it thinks you did not spend that much. This does NOT happen with Manuf, Q’s but always happens with Wags Q’s. HTH

    no more peeps coupon! 🙁

I went to Walgreens today and was hoping to stock up on some Dove deodorant and I saw it was just the regular Dove deodorant and not the Men’s or the Go Fresh since I had $1 coupons for it. I was disappointed. I will have to wait until the next time.

whent to walgreens yesterday a customer infront of me paid for his items
    some kind of catalina printed!
the cashier asked him do you use this showed it to him and he said no
she folded and put it away for herself.

    • katee

thats illegal…well in walgreens world haha. i work there and we are NOT allowed to take catalinas people do not want or forget. we can be fired because the managers say this is like stealing because we did not earn the coupon!

  43. m13hatch

Anyone know any good filler items this week? Ive got RR burning a hole in my pocket and can never get that ratio right…

    • jmartcougar

I got the Halloween tumblers only .13 cents each with in store coupon or 8/$1 and the pencils too I just got two

  44. Becca

There is a Wags Oct Q for $1/1 Thermacare 2-3 pks. Which would make them $.89 for a 3 pk. Right? I saw it on another blog and thought I’d comment.

    • Becca

      $.86 per pk, not $.89.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

is not for the same ct so i think rr will not print not sure

  45. melissa

    Thermacare issues anyone??
My Wags would not take the coupons, because it says, not to be used with an other offer . Since Theremacare is part of the BYGO1/2 off, the manager refused it.

  46. stevie

    • sue
