Hi all! Not sure where to post this, but I received my Julep Maven box today (the $5 intro one). Just thought I would share the contents of my very pretty box. I found two nail polishes in lovely colors — “Drew” and “Alfre” — and a full-size bottle of glycolic hand scrub, plus two samples (one hand scrub and one hand lotion).
For $5, of course I loved the contents of the box. 🙂 I do wish they wouldn’t send a sample and full-size version of the same product. They’ve also labeled my style “American Beauty” and while I’m quite flattered (heehee), I’m also a little worried — I don’t want to get reds and pinks every month. I do like classic cuts and nothing off-the-wall, but for my nails I would prefer darker colors — no brights and nothing too sweet. Looks like you can change your style, but I think you have to call customer service to do that. It really shouldn’t be that difficult — the click of a box should take care of it.
Also, if that shipment was worth $60, I’m a bit worried about the normal “over-$40” boxes too. The intro box was certainly worth $20 to me, but if there’s substantially less in the other boxes, I won’t stick around.
I’ll give it another month or two and hope to be pleasantly surprised. For today, it was such fun opening that box and knowing that all that was $5!

I bought the butterfly costume a few weeks ago and it is SO CUTE! My daughter is a small 16 month year old and she fits it, but barely.
so this costume is for months baby not 8-10 yrs old?
Is it just me or is icture of the baby butterfly costume misleading? They show rhe costume on a child who is standing however the costume is said to fit a 6 to 12 month old. What baby do you know that stands and can walk by 1 year. Maybe it is just me.
Both of our kids walked at 9 months…so totally not out of the ordinary. I also have a bunch of kids with walkers before a year

I bought my daughter that witch costume (from somewhere else) last year. It’s super cute! She wore some thick black tights underneath and we sewed a little ribbon on the hat so she could tie it under her chin. I recommend it if you’re looking for a witch costume!
