how many q’s can you use in one transaction?

  2. Betsysthird

Does it limit the number of coupons you can use per transaction? Just checking to make the trip a little more worth the gas.

    • Nicole

I shop at Whole Foods weekly, and though the coupon policy can vary by store, they typically will only take one store coupon per transaction for an item. So unless you have shopping to do at Whole Foods, it’s probably not worth a trip to the store just for the one bag.

When living in VA, that store was strict like that. My new store here in central CA allows multiple coupons and is more leniant on how many…so its worth a call for the coupon policy. There policy varies by store 🙂

    • Janey

I’ve used as many as 3 WF coupons in one transaction with no problem. For example the DeBoles pasta, I bought 3, used 3 WF coupons and 3 MQ’s 🙂 Varies by store & sometimes by cashier, but worth a shot! Good luck!

I think there coupons are one per tranaction. I shop there all the time ..bit I can use one of theirs and one mfg per item so usually get some good deals while there

What do you mean by a Whole Print. coupon. I have not heard of this.

  8. mona

Sorry I meant to ask what is a WHOLE DEAL coupon. Thanks iin anticipatio of. an explanation.

    • Nathanael

The “Whole Deal” is a print magazine that Whole Foods releases every month or so. If you want one, you can go up to the customer service counter at the front and they will either have a display of them out, or you can ask them for it. There are tons of coupons and recipes loaded inside!

    • Nancy

The actual printed Whole Deal that you get at Whole Foods Market that contains the coupons, recipes, hints, etc.

definitely a great deal and well worth a trip, i was at my local whole foods earlier and i didn’t look through all the whole deal prints but all of the ones i grabbed already had this high value coupon cut out… i feel like it’s a great deal, but we shouldn’t be trying to hog it for ourselves, definitely wish whoever it was that cut out the coupons had left some for the rest of us.

    • Nicole

I totally agree…I’ve been shopping there for years and only in the past few months I’ve noticed when I grab the coupon books a bunch have already been taken out. Not very fair or polite…

      • tamara C.

I think it is more in the spirit of sustainability that people leave books with coupons left in it that others may use rather than throwing away a bunch of coupons that they don’t use. It is encouraged at my WF to give the cashiers your unwanted coupons so they can offer them to others who will use them rather than waste.

    • Erin395

Did you look by the product? My WF cuts the coupons out and puts them in front of the items that are on sale, if they are all gone they keep some at the register to use, just ask.

      • Rebekah Desloge

no coupons by the product at my local whole foods, but that’s alright, i do think i will try asking at the customer service desk next time i’m there.

I too have found booklets with coupons ripped out- if you’re going to take one you might as well take the whole thing! I always take the whole book because it has great recipes inside!

This is a great deal! I pass Whole Foods every day on my way to work and will absolutely stop in!

i dont have whole foods in my area

Thanks a million for the reply Nanthanael — we have a Whole foods just around the corner. Off topic but a nice surprise in the mail today. Coupons from Kroger for Free butter, frozen veggies, Betty Crocker Cake Mix and Kroger bacon. This is for card holders so if you get a little white folded letter in the mail from Kroger, don’t pitch it.Thanks again.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hey– Thank You for that tip on the white folded letter coming. I hope everyone who is a kroger card holder will get one… that sounds very nice. It wasn’t for a grand opening for a store near you was it ? Tks!

      • guest24

That is what I was wondering. I seldom get the coupon booklets from Kroger, but when I do, there is usually just one free item. I did get a huge post card from Randall’s (Safeway) last week with 10 items for free that I used, That was fun.

  13. Amy

The chips were $2.69 at the store I shopped at today, but I still picked up a bag. Great deal. Wish the nearest Whole Foods wasn’t 2 hours away…I can only make the trip a few times a year.

  14. sara

Off topic: But for those of you who have shop runner…check your email inbox. I got an email for a FREE Dominos Artisian Pizza thru dominos.com! I tried it today and dinner on the house was pretty nice. Thought others may want to know so you can get in on this deal too.

  15. Casey

Bout time for me to use my Living Social deal!! Thanks!

  16. Mona

No Mae it wasn’t for a grand opening – it was a loyal customer card holder reward. I think they are priming their customers to do their Thanksgiving shopping there. Hope y’all get one. I am not really loyal to any one grocery store and cherry pick around them all but i do have many cards/

  17. cjs

I wish I bought that Living Social deal! My store is very stingy on their coupon acceptance, so that deal was SO good!

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I used these a few weeks ago luckily my store had just got in cases of the whole deal and they were stacked by the door…be careful though when coupon rang up it was only scanning at .50! luckily my cashier caught it….and btw i used 3 or more of them at once.

  19. LadyO

I am in Central Florida. My WF’s is very lenient with their coupon policy. Many times, if the cashier or bagger saw I was purchasing multiples items but only had one Q, they would go get me the store flyer with additional Q’s in them!!

  20. foltsjr315

I didn’t check the price at my Whole Foods. When I got there yesterday ALL the Whole Deal books had coupons ripped out. I’m assuming they were the chocolate chip coupons. I’m not real sure it was done by customers, i have a feeling the store did it because I think someone would have objected to a customer ripping coupons from over 200 plus books

  21. sandy

just was on whole foods’ webiste…the coupon is now only $.50 off…not $2 🙁
