  2. aesha

i am looking for 50-60 inch tv, does ne one knw of good black friday deals on them? if any, TIA 😉

    • Renny

I think Walmart has a Samsung 50” plasma for 498 on Black Fri. We bought the Sanyo last yr on Blk Fri & have used it a lot & it still looks great. There’s something about the tube being made by Panasonic or something, so maybe consider doing some research first! HTH!

  3. Freedom

THANK YOU. I was going for the PS3, now I dont have to go store to store to find it!!!

    • jenn

  4. Michelle

Is the XBOX deal live now too?

    • jen rivera

      • gail mercer

what is the xbox bundle, need a new one?

  5. Julie

I saw that Best Buy is offering a 42″ flat screen for $199 on Black Friday!

    • Alea

People started lining up over the weekend at different Best Buy locations to get that tv. Yikes!

  6. Stephanie

They say “not available for purchase at this time”, so not sure if you can buy these yet or not….anyone try?

    • Kristen

It let me put it in my cart and go through the check-out process, but I did not complete check-out so I’m not sure.

      • Kristen

I’m talking about the PS3, sorry!

        • Nicole Dunn

I just bought the PS3!! YAY!

      • Alea

I was able to checkout with the PS3 – usually I would do the free ship to store, but the $8 to have delivered to my door and not worry about holiday traffic at the store is well worth it to me 🙂 It is an awesome deal! 🙂

        • kissyb

I totally agree. I’ve heard Walmart with ship to store can sometimes be a problem where I live so I didn’t want to take any chances!

  7. Luda B

I just purchased PS3! Thank you so much for posting!!

  8. Amalia

    Thanks!

  9. Michelle

Just a quick question…are all black Friday store deals available online during store hours? I’d like to snag some of those video games , but would rather not get up super early if I dont have to. Our stores don’t open til 4 a.m.

    • Melissa

Not always… some deals are in store only. Sometimes video games, dvds and stuff like that they make only available in store for the sale price. But you can always check Amazon they sometimes price match stores, I have bought a few dvd’s already for the same price they will be thursday night.

  10. Ferris

This made my day – I was dreading going to Wal-Mart Thursday night, and now I don’t have to! And I was able to ship the present to my mother-in-law’s house to hide it from my husband. Yay!

  11. Melani

I just bought a PS3, total was $217 after tax!

  12. Amy

Got my PS3!! I was going to made my husband stand in line Thanksgiving night, so he was VERY happy 😉 Thanks 4 posting!!

  13. Melinda

Other items also reflect the Black Friday price, but will not let you check out and notes at the bottom it will be available in stores and hours of that item’s pricing.

  14. Jennifer Morales

Thank you sooooooooooooo much! You saved me 4 hours of headache in line for the PS3. This is my favorite website ever!

  15. brigitte

How much is the PS3 normally? What is so great about it? We have the wii thing but I wonder if I should get in on this deal.

    • Nicole Dunn

They normally run about $250. One thing I like about it, is it has a blue ray player built in.

      • brigitte

Thanks, i went ahead and got it since hubby said heck yeah!

    • andrea

The graphics on the ps3 are supposed to be fantastic. I have one hidden away for my son (not at that price, though! Oh well).

    • Edie

This is a fantastic price for the ps3, and I’m bummed I missed out on it online, now I have to go to the store and get it! The games that comes with it are pretty decent as well. Bundles like this with games that aren’t that great usually go for $300-$350. So even if this deal was just for the ps3, it’d be a steal.

  16. steffknee

FYI….be careful with those Plasma TVs. They don’t last very long; burn out for little to no reason. That’s why they re soo cheap now.

    • Amanda T

We have 2 samsung plasma TV’s and have not had any problems with them. One of them we have had for a few years now.

    • brigitte

We have an Insignia plasma that we bought last year from Best Buy and haven’t had any problems so far.

      • Joy

That’s good to know because we just bought an Insignia over the weekend. 🙂

    • Paulina

I have a LG Plasma that I bought over 2 years ago, not a single problem, and it already survived moving from one state to another! 🙂

  17. Suzanne

Is the memory foam going to be a Black Friday deal? I need a new one!

  18. jody

What do you all think about purchasing the extra protection plan for the PS3?? I was going to go with the 3 year one but after tax and the plan my total is $244…yes or no to the protection?

    • Edie

I would say no unless whoever will be using it is really rough with it. They’re pretty sturdy machines.

  19. Nicole

Got a PS3. My husband said make sure I say thank you to Collin. So “Thank you, Thank you!!!”

  20. jess

Wont let me add it to cart

  21. abbygilpin@bellsouth.net

Any opinions on the better system…Xbox 360 or PS3? Pros, cons…tia from a very uninformed wife trying to surprise the hubby with a more “adult” gaming experience than the Wii provides 🙂

    • Kathleen

It really depends on what types of games you want to play. I personally have the XBox and both my husband and I really enjoy it. It also has the Kinect which is nice if you have kids. I would look into what type of games you want, do you need a Blue Ray Player (PS3 comes with one), and what you want out of the system.

    • Kim

With Xbox you have to pay to play online, that isn’t the case w/PS3.

    • Latasha

We have both systems in our home, hooked up to an HDTV. Both are great for game play and have different features. I prefer the XBOX 360 for game play, the controls are more comfortable for me and the menu navigations are simpler (for me). My husband has certain games that he will only get on each system because the game play is much better on one over the other. He gets the Madden games for XBOX but the MLB games for the PS3, etc.
We have a Kinect and our 2 year old loves to play kinectimals (he can play with a pet tiger, pet him, scratch him under the chin, etc) and it keeps us all entertained. I also have a workout game and a dancing game for the XBOX system to use with Kinect.

Both systems can be connected online for online game play, but they do not need to be hooked up to the internet to be able to use or play, just an added feature. If you have a netflix account you can stream through either system to watch on your TV and we also use this feature a lot!

Both are great, if you want it for the blu ray player only, just get the $40 one that Best Buy will be selling this weekend.

    • Emilytwinmom

We enjoy the ps3 much more than the xbox we originally had, the only reason the guys in my house even considered an xbox360 was to play Halo – and when everyone else’s started getting the red ring of death we were very happy with our PS3 purchase! My 12 yr old and hubby both love the ps3, and you can play online without paying a cent – big bonus around here. My nephew has had nothing but issues with his xbox live, and has said he wished he had a ps3 instead!

  22. Sue

    out of stock !

  23. Sue

the ps3 that is ,is out of stock that was fast !

  24. abbygilpin@bellsouth.net

    Nevermind…no longer available 🙁

  25. amy

Don’t know if I’m looking at it wrong, but PS3 now says “not available for purchase at this time”….bummer! But I think I’ll still opt for online purchase once it is available!!!

  26. jenn

the ps3 is nto available to for sale at this time.
it say sto go to the store on black friday…urg.

  27. jess

called customer service and they said the 199.99 bundle is the black friday special and isnt available right now

  28. Savings Viking

The HP wireless printer is also available, along with the ink.

  29. Casey

The TVs are cheap because they are 720p. If you want true high def you have to go with a 1080p.

  30. Alena

Thank you so much!!! I’ve just ordered a LG 47″ Class 3D LED 1080p 120Hz, 1.2″ ultra slim 47LW5300, with 3D Blu-ray and 4 Pair of 3D Glasses, Bundle for $799!!! reg price – $1099. It was the only thing we wanted to buy this Black Friday.

Thank you, Colin, so much. You are the best.

  31. Jess

Can someone please help me out?

Does anybody know if the 37″ tv that walmart is going to have on thursday for $188 will be available online as well?

I don’t have a sitter so I don’t think I’ll be gettin out late wednesday to make the sales for walmart. Kind of a bumer 🙁

  32. Toni

I ordered the PS3 earlier when it was working, and payment went through, but then i was reading on slick deals about people getting cancellation emails and a $5 walmart GC offer… anyone else get this dreaded email? I was SO hoping that I didnt have to fight BF crowds for this :/

    • Alea

My order hasn’t been cancelled YET. I really hope they all don’t get cancelled – it was their mistake for putting it up early.

      • Alea

        I got a shipment confirmation today, so it’s on it’s way!!! 🙂

  33. Yvonne

I was able to order the PS3 and my payment went through. I didn’t get an email saying it had shipped so I looked on the website. It has shipped and the FedEx tracking says it should arrive on Friday. WooHoo! Thanks for the heads up on this great deal, I am thrilled to have one big gift out of the way. For those that missed it, you’ll get the next one. I miss lots of them but get a few too. Thanks again Collin.
