BEWARE!!! I heard that they are having issues like Ecomom. Just a heads up. 🙂
They definitely ARE having problems with ecomom… spent 5 hours this weekend trying to make my purchase only to have them not accept my payment at the end. I don’t think they will be up to par before their “special’ runs out on Wednesday, nor do I have high hopes that they will have what I want in stock before Christmas (or my baby’s birthday, which is soon after 🙁 ). They could and SHOULD have limited the number of PD vouchers sold to what they could handle. Would never commit to buying from them again.
Honestly, when we are seeking such amazing deals (where these businesses aren’t making money off of these sales) I think we can all be pretty patient and wait it out. ;0) I know its hard and frustrating, but Ecomom and Abe’s aren’t huge big box retailers and they have limitiations based on that. Ecomom has always been amazing and this is just some growing pains for them. I’ll wait to use my vouchers until things slow down, even if that means I don’t score such a crazy good deal.
Agree with you meaghan 🙂 !!
I completely agree! What a great comment. 🙂 People are so demanding and impatient. It’s saddening. These are SMALL businesses!
Well said, Meaghan. I would like to think that most of us are rooting for the little guy. Hence, we should be able to extend our patience as well. These are GREAT deals on quality products. Ecomom & Abe’s Market didn’t have to offer such generous discounts to begin with, but I’m so thankful they did AND they appear to be doing everything humanly possible to make it right for their customers-an incredibly commendable trait for any business, big or small. 🙂
Also if you are new to plum district you can also use the $5 sign up bonus making it only $10. I love abe’s and grab this deal whenever it comes around.
I just did this, and got it for $10. I’ve never purchased from here but for $10 I’ll give it a try 🙂
How do I get the $5 sign up bonus? Is that thru
Plum District or Abe’s when I place my 1st order?
Dawn – log into your Plum account. Go to “my account” – refer a friend. Refer your husband, mom, etc. Then when they sign up, they’ll have a $5 credit to Plum that you can use. You can get the deal for $10 that way.
I just got back online and now the sale is expired. Thanks for letting me know how to snag this credit, I’ll try and get that and then maybe next time get a good deal on something, thanks again!
Someone can send you an email that will invite you and automatically give you the 5$ credit when you sign up, post ur email or email me at jenaynay82@yahoo.com and I can send you a $5 invite 🙂
I had $10 in my Plum District account so got the deal for $5!! I can’t wait to order some scarves or socks for my daughter for Christmas. I know she will love them being she is 15 and loves organic things. Thanks!!
How long can I see the $5 credit after sign up? I just sign up and try to purchase and no any $5 credit show.. Help!!
and now this site is going to crash as well…
It’s been crashed since very early this morning.
You cant get on their site just like stated above.
I’ve been on the computer for 3 hours trying to access their website!!!!!
Site hasn’t been working for hours! But they seem to be really good about notifying everyone about what’s going on . . . . go to their FB wall to get updates and sign up to be notified when the site is up & running.
Thanks Collin! Get deal!
I just purchased something from them. Having issues fixing the problem with my credit. Card. As far as I can see they don’t have a customer service number and I have been dealing with emailing them. Long process I hope will be fixed.
Can you get free shipping when spending $50 BEFORE using the Plum District voucher? Thanks!
Yep! I have bought many of the Abe’s Market vouchers from Plum District and Eversave in the past and it has always been free shipping if your total is over $50 before the voucher is applied. I love Abe’s Market!
Thank you for responding! This is a great deal! 🙂
Anyone else having a problem with Plum District? I keep trying to buy the Abe’s Market deal and it keeps logging me out of Plum District and saying my password is invalid, even though I just reset it because of this.
Finally was able to open a new account and buy it. Our toddler was just diagnosed with celiac disease and can’t have gluten, so I’ll be able to get her tons of stuff for practically free!
Yikes… our need for deals is killing off these little online stores one by one! haha. 😉
>>>>Chuckling<<<<<
🙂 🙂 🙂
I’m not sure why any of you are laughing about this because there is a very real possibility that things like this will put small businesses out of business.
Agree. We need to be responsible consumers as much as we are deal seeking consumers. If we help small businesses grow it will come back to us all two fold. <3
I agree, this makes me nervous for the small businesses. THey must be loosing money on these vouchers to gain customers. Although I’m actually thrilled they sell one of my favorite skin care lines so will repurchase form Abe’s in the future.
I’m also impressed with ecomom’s honestly with their customers, and their will to make everything right, and while Im using that voucher to purchase christmas gifts and baby shower gifts I’ll be sure to purchase from them again in the future! Love the Melissa & Doug toys!
LOL! I was thinking the same thing! these small businesses can not handle all the Hip2savers!
I would like to do this but I’m unfamiliar with this business (Abe’s Market). Does anyone know if they sell Clif bars? If so, I’m definitely getting the certificate.
Yup, they do! 🙂
I just got this deal! I am so excited! I love the Tiny Footprint Coffee! 🙂 Thanks!
If you go through Shopathome you get 8% cash back!
I finally got a order on Abe’s Market, but when I entered my voucher number, I get the message “coupon not valid”. So frustrating. Anyone else?
You usually have to wait a certain amount of time before you can redeem the voucher. Go into your account and read what it says on how to redeem it!
Hmmm….so if I purchase the voucher now, I may have to wait until it becomes “valid,” which may not be today = I won’t be able to get the Abe’s Market deal?
Anyone???
The voucher doesn’t expire until December 31 .
No. The voucher worked immediately, put the site crashed before I could finish checking out. Now, when I try to re-enter the code, it reads, “coupon not valid”. Several other people are having the same problem.
Oh. Thanks for the reply 🙂
The same thing happened to me as well,i wonder if the order went through on their end and maybe did not on ours.As long as i can still use my voucher or the order went through i wont be upset, however it totally stink’s to have spent so much time trying to get it to work! 🙁
Having the same issue with the invalid code message. My CC now has multiple pending charges on it too but no order confirmation so I don’t think it went thru 🙁 I sent an email so we’ll see how they sort it out.
I’ve bought from them before and recommend the coconut gallon of soap. I use it in my foam bottles(like softsoap or method foam pump ones). You just need a third of soap, rest is water, shake it and good to go. I’ve had the gallon bottle for almost a year! Four kids, 3 bathrooms and the kitchen sink soap! Love the peeled dried fruit snacks too.
I do the same thing with the foam pumpers!! Usually just purchase large refill from target… last forever!
Donna, that’s funny, think the foam pumper trick is out. It seriously saves so much money refilling foam pumpers. Even DH is convinced now. You just have to make sure not to put TOO much soap in.
Had no trouble buying voucher just now. Haven’t purchased from this site, but for this price will give it a try!
Abe’s Market is great! I’ve been pleased with my orders every time.
Yay! I just ordered 4 packs of diapers for $17.88 (voucher cost + out of pocket on abe’s market).
I ordered 10 / 70ct Packs of Seventh Generation Wipes for only $10 SHIPPED!
Just worked for me – the site is slow, and, for some reason, it wouldn’t let me register to check out (kept saying that *both* of my email addresses were already registered, which they were not), but worked fine when I checked out as a guest. Got 7 boxes of Clif bars and a 30 pack of fruit leather for $11.51 OOP, which works out to just under $0.16 per item! 🙂
Yes! They sell Alba! I love their Toner & Pineapple Face wash…which Abe’s doesn’t sell. But I got the Sugar Scrub & Coconut Milk Fash Wash for myself….and then 3 stocking stuffers for my husband for just the $15 I spent on the voucher!
Site is running slow, but it is working!
Still waiting on Ecomom…I feel so sorry for the CEO of that company, but am patiently waiting, I’m confindent they will make everyones orders go through.
Ecomom is calling people and getting the orders…
This deal is sold out on Plum District 🙁
the plum district deal is now saying sold out…. looks like deal is dead
I was just able to use my voucher from earlier and got 33 oz of real maple syrup and two boxes of oatmeal for $10 shipped! 🙂 What a great deal!
