Wow!   If you live in California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, or Illinois, you can score a great deal on wine, beer, and liquor at CVS this week!  Whenever you purchase 6 bottles of select wine, you’ll receive a 10% discount. Even sweeter, there is a regional $25 rebate form found in your local CVS ad (for the select states mentioned above), making this a very sweet deal!  Here’s how…

Deal Scenario #1:
Buy 6 bottles of Turning Leaf wine 2/$10
Total = $30
Minus 10% discount for purchasing 6 or more bottles of wine
Pay $27
Submit for a $25 mail-in rebate (form available in the CVS circular)
Final cost $0.33 per bottle!

Deal Scenario # 2:
Buy 4 bottles of Turning Leaf wine 2/$10
Buy 2 bottles of Mirassou wine $6.99 each
Total = $33.98
Minus 10% discount for purchasing 6 or more bottles of wine = $30.58
Use 2 $2/2 hangtag possibly found on Mirassou wine
Use the $2/2 hangtag possibly found on Turning Leaf wine
Pay as low as $24.58
Submit for a $25 mail-in rebate (form available in the CVS circular)
Final cost FREE! That’s what I call an sweet price for wine! 😀

Also, it appears that there are 2 other rebates found in select CVS ads (California and other states), which will make for FREE or inexpensive beer and/or liquor!

*Buy $100 in gift cards and 18pk. or larger of Coors beer = $25 rebate
*Buy 3 bottles of select liquor = $15 rebate

Deal Scenario #1:
Buy $100 in CVS gift cards $100
Buy Coors Light 18-pack $11.99
Pay $111.99
Submit for a $25 mail-in rebate (form available in the CVS circular)
Final cost $86.99!
*If you shop at CVS often and will use your Gift Card anyway, this is like getting better than FREE Coors (after rebate)!  Also, you may want to consider using your CVS gift card to get in on any of the other rebate offers mentioned above!

Another *HOT* deal to note is on the Crest Complete with Scope toothpaste!  It appears that the small boxes (2.7 oz) are printing the $2 ECB (may be an unadvertised deal), which means better than FREE toothpaste!  Here’s how…

Buy 1 Crest Complete with Scope travel size $2.49 = $2 Ecb (limit 2)
Use the $2/1 Crest Complete coupon found in the 9/11 SS (Expires 12/31!)
Pay $0.49
Get back a $2 ECB
Final cost $1.51 money maker!
*Note – This was priced at $2.77 at my store but did print the $2 Ecb! 😀

Finally, if you’re planning on Buying Duracell batteries this week, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for specially marked packages with P&G coupons inside (similar to picture above)!  Check out what reader Beth had to say about these batteries at CVS:

“Just wanted to add to the CVS battery deal this week. Be on the lookout for packs of Duracell batteries with $20 of P&G coupons!! So far I’ve only seen the AA 16pk that have the coupons included. I bought these a couple weeks ago because it went toward the gift card, I needed batteries plus the coupons.  And am happy to report the coupons are Awesome! A couple of my favorites $3 off 2 Duracell battery packs 6ct or larger, and $2 off 1 Vicks product!”

Also, be sure to keep an eye out for Fall Clearance items as they may be marked up to 90% off!

Off topic Collin…. redplum has reset their coupons…. cvs has a website coupon for $1.00/1 any axe product and redplum as $1.50/1 axe shower gel… might be a good deal.

  2. Bianca

Awesome Deal on WINE COLLIN! Anyone know if that is good wine? Would make great gifts for neighbors 🙂

    • Zack

Yes and yes! We tried about 4 different kinds from a similar deal last year and they were all good!

  3. Nikki

I like the turning leaf pinot. It has won awards. People probably know it is cheaper wine, but it is still good.

  4. janice

: ( the turning leaf wine is 5.99 and 5.39 with the 10%
are there other ones that are $2/10?

    • Mags

You’re correct Janice. I bought these anyway. After rebate and with tax they turne out to be $11.25 for 6. Not bad in my book. I’m happy 🙂

      • Daria

wow, my ad said turning leaf was 6.49, and Im in the chicago suburbs

        • Mags

Daria, that’s what the ad said, but when I went to the store it was $5.99 a bottle, so really not a bad deal after rebate.. less than $2 a bottle – I consider it a good deal. I’m in Schaumburg area

  5. Jen

OMG! I have 6 $2 off 1 Turning Leaf hang tags I’ve been saving up for just such and occasion!!

  6. Jennifer

Turning Leaf definitely isn’t the best wine but it is drinkable. 🙂 It is also good to keep on hand for cooking, especially with stew season ahead of us. Lots of those recipes call for red wine.

  7. heather

It’s good cooking wine, and it would also make great mulled wine, spiced wine, or sangria.
Don’t give any merit to the “awards” it has won, but if you like it, then go ahead and drink it! For a gift however, I would go for something a little better in quality.

Man! Wish I lived in those states. Thanks for posting Collin! I will check out the toothpaste deal.

  9. Cindy

I called the phone number listed on the Coors Light Rebate form on the back of the CVS ad and the rep said that because this offer does not say that it is specific to CVS, then it should be valid for any store. She also said that purchase of gift cards and beer do not need to be on the same receipt, just have to be purchased during the dates listed on the rebate form.

I believe that Rite Aid actually has a better deal on Coors Light ($11.99 if I rememeber correctly) this week and you can even pick up the great deal on the Home Improvement gift cards there too.

    • Zack

Coors 18 packs are $11.99 at CVS this week too. Great call on the home improvement stack though!! 😮

    • pmacgmorris

Thanks for calling and letting us know the details. I am glad to know it can work with any gift cards! 🙂

    • Inez

Do you know if this also works for the visa gift cards? I did this deal today at CVS and they told me it would also work for the visa gift cards, so I bought a $50 CVS gg and a $50 visa gg. But now I’m unsure whether they would accept this for this deal.
      Any thoughts?

  10. chelamom

what is the deal with the Malibu bottles in the picture.

    • Zack

They are from the Buy 3 select liquors and get a $15 rebate that Collin mentioned in the middle of the post. We used a $10/3 hangtag with the rebate and got those 3 bottles for $5 total! 🙂

      • CaliGrl

Zack you make me want to go get some now for New Years!great job on the deals!Im going to pass on the wine,I only like Moscatos :))

      • Taraneh

did you get the hangtag recently or have you had it saved up for a while? thanks!

  11. Michelle

I knew there was a reason I am living in IL…cheap alcohol! 😉 just kidding I am really not a whino!

  12. alli

this is a manufacturer’s rebate. Do you have to buy wine in CVS? or can you buy it somewhere else?

    • Ronni

      You can buy it anywhere.

      • alli

If so, it’s much better deal at Ultra Foods (for people in IL) Turning Leaf wine is on sale through 12.07. at $4.50.
Buy 6 x $4.50=$27.00 Ultra Foods will give 10% discount for buying 6. So $27.00-$2.70=$24.30 + tax. Submit for $25 rebate. Almost free wine!

  13. Kris

I am in Illinois and have looked through my ad several times and can’t find the rebate form. Maybe it is only in the Chicago area or specific regions? So just an FYI, if you are in IL you might want to call before you head out.

    • Jennifer

Look on the bottom of the very last page (back cover)

  14. Pam

My CVS ad only has a $15 rebate. Is the $25 anywhere else? I live in IL.

  15. alicia

Hi which date is the CVS circular for the wine rebate form? I couldn’t find. Thanks!

  16. Chrissy

I am in southern IL near St. Louis and we don’t have the $25 rebate in our ad. I would love to get one from someone if anyone has an extra.

  17. alicia

I live in Northern CA and I didn’t find in my ad so wanted to confirm if it was same ad and we just didn’t get in our ad? And I am with Chrissy if anyone would be willing to send , email me at aliciasantos30@gmail.com.
