You should be proud that although you lived so far from your “extended support system” (aka as extended family) you were able to build a nice life your yourself and your kids, so nice that you were sad to move, thats actually a good sign!   It could be that picture is from when the RR first started, I think it has been running for a few weeks. No inserts are sceduled for Sunday- unless we couponers are going to be given an early Christmas gift! 😉

  BTW, I think the $1 coupon they are referring to was from the 12/11 SS. Some regions also got a Rebate offer form in that same insert. If you did, it will help bring the total, final price even lower ($2 for 2 brushes, $3 for 3…)

  get your total to $30 (you can always ask clerk to subtotal for you)…FIRST hand over jingle cash and then your coupons (both Walgreens and Manufacturer) and this will get your total down to all but tax if you plan correctly! I did this last week! it’s great!!! takes a little more planning but sure is nice!

  I got to $36 before coupons, but the Walgreen’s coupons are an exclusion. You have to get to $30 after all Walgreen’s coupons, and before all manufacturer coupons. I did not receive mine because I used $2 infant care ($4 came off from buying 2), and $1/1 Kiss nails ($2 came off from buying 2), and I used an in-ad q and no Jingle Cash. 🙁 I asked about it and they said it was the Walgreens coupons that prevented it from printing. Have to be at/above $30 after Walgreen’s coupons.

  I couldnt. I bought 4 blades 3 shaving creme and the razor. I had a $5 off when you buy blades and razor and 3 $2.00 of the shaving cream. I got the 10 rr from Gillette and also another 4 rr for the razor itself. I also used my jingle cash to get the price lower

    Deal Scenario:
    Buy 4 Gillette Fushion shave prep 7 oz $4.99 (based on online price)

    Total = $34.93
    Use 5 $2/1 Gillette shave prep coupon found in the 11/27 PG
    Use 2 $1/1 Gillette deodorant coupon found in the 11/27 PG

    Shouldn’t it be 4 $2/1 Gillette shave prep and 3 $1/1 Gillete deodorant coupons?

I was diagnosed with breast cancer the day b4 thanksgivng 2010 did surgery, chemo & radiation finished treatment 9-30-2011 then went back to work on 11/14/11 and the day b4 thanksgiving 2011 i was let go from my job (Nothing against thanksgiving) but my point to this story is that THANKS to you I have been able save money & use money the right way so I can help my husband pay the household bills (now that money is very tight & need to shop for medical insurance). From the bottom of my heart thanks you have been a big help these days

    Buy 4 Hershey’s Holiday Candy 7.8-8.5 oz 4/$10 = $5 coupon on your next in store Hershey’s purchase
    Buy 4 Hershey’s Holiday kisses candy 7.8-8.5 oz 4/$10
    Use 2 $1/2 coupons found here
    Final cost $8 total – $2 each + a $5 coupon good on your next Hershey’s purchase!

    I would use the Buy 2 Get 1 Free coupon found in the 12/11 SS. That way, it’s 7.50 for 3 bags. Turn around and use the $5 RR on another four bags, using another Buy 2 Get 1 Free coupon. This time, it would be 2.50 for four bags. Total of 8 bags for $10.

  RRs at Wags don’t always roll on the same deal. However, you could probably roll the 5RR to do the Pot of Gold deal. 2/$10, use 2 $1 qs and the 5 RR, pay $3, get 2RR. Not bad. Even though it’s the same company, the RR amounts are different, so this should work.

    Just an FYI for everyone on the Blistex: even though there are no exclusions or products specified on the WAGS coupon in the ad, it looks like it is only for the ones that don’t come in the boxes (like the Cold & Allergy), even though they meet the specified .15oz to .25oz listed on the coupon. I had a feeling they were only for the non-packaged ones priced around $1.69 (the boxed ones are $2.69) but decided to try it out anyways as it would have been a really good deal. Also the $0.55 mfg coupon, at least the ones that came in the insert where I live, is only for certain Blistex products. In that same insert though, there was a $0.25 any Blistex product coupon as well. Please keep this in mind when planning your transactions. I was lucky enough where it wasn’t busy so I had time to swap out the Cold & Allergy for the Berry flavored Blistex.

  RR means register reward and it is something that applies to Walgreens only. Some of the deals they run if you purchase so much of one thing a RR will print out for you at the register. It will be for “x” amount of dollars off your next purchase. The tricky thing with RR’s is they consider it a manufacturer’s coupon so if you already have a manufacturer’s coupon to go along with every item you’re purchasing you need to grab a “filler item” so the RR can go against that. It can be the cheapest filler item you can find though. So for example…even if your RR is for $3 you can pick up a .25 filler and the RR will go through for the full $3. You must use the whole RR in one transaction. I may have just confused you more than helped you! LOL To be honest I did not understand Walgreens at all until watching Collin’s video. It’s great…I suggest you watch it for further help. 🙂

  Nope, doesn’t look like it. 🙁 It’s not listed in the ad, anyways. I didn’t get a chance to go to Walgreens today, so I didn’t get to use the $1/1 Viva coupon that expired today. (yesterday? Haven’t gone to sleep yet.) So now the deal isn’t at good as I hoped it’d be, because I saw something about a $3 RR for this on another blog as well. But I believe they mistaked the RR for the store coupon. We’re on our last 2 rolls of paper towels though, so may have to pick a couple up anyways. Ho hum.

    I have went to walgreens 4 different times with my coupons, hours of planning the trip and have not once yet come out of walgreens the way I ‘thought” the trip should go….
    I have a few questions if anyone would love to answer them..

    Ok .. Can I use RR with $5/30 stock up coupon?

    maybe this would be easier:

    ky yours & mine 9.99
    4 boxes of Nabisco cookies or crackers: (BOGO 1.99×2=3.98) 3.98
    1 spinbrush pro toothbrush: 4.99

    3 Dawn dish liquid: .99 x 3= 2.97
    fillers (i just grab some extra because i never know exactly how the coupons work): 5 @ $.50fillers: 2.5

    I have (1) $5 RR, (1) $2 RR, ($5/30) Jingle Cash
    Coupons:
    (1) $5.00 off Y&M KY

    (1) $2.00 off 1 spinbrush

    So can I ring it through like the first list: Total of $34.42 – $5 (Jingle cash)= 29.42 – 11.75 (Manu. coupons) = 17.67- 2 (Wags coupons)= $15.67 – $5 RR= 10.67 -$2 RR= Total: $8.67 Plus get back $10 RR (ky $5, Spinbrush $1, venus $4)

    DOes that look like it will work?

    *I’m kind of desperate! I think it took close to 2 hours to put this transaction together… LOL I’m excellent at couponing, but walgreens is stumping me everytime! 🙂 Thanks for any input!

  LMAO!..that is exactly what heppened.. NO CRACKERS!! So after some readjusting and somi melt down moments.. I finally figured out other things to buy : )

  Wag’s trip! UUUUfffda!
  Total after 3 transactions.. and random things that hopped into my cart..

  I paid about $17 OOP and then used most of the RR’s I received and walked out with :

  2- KY Y&M
  2- SPinbrush toothbrushes
  1-venus shaver

  5- match box cars
  3- peices of candy
  4- christmas ornaments
  1- Homes and garden magazine

  I think I understand the Walgreens much better, it even helped that I actually had 2 of the most WONDERFUL young lady cashier’s in the world.. They were very patient and even helped me re-adjust my last 2 transactions!! 🙂

  yes you can but the bags are ringing up 2.99 each or 4 for 10. so the last bag rings up at 1.03 and the first three at 2.99 each…so on the second transaction when youre using your $5 hersheys coupon you would pay .98 because (2.99×2=5.98-5=.98) HTH!

    There is also an in-store coupon for Hot Wheels $0.59 each, limit 5. I remember seeing these $2/1 at King Soopers last Christmas, but I haven’t seen them get that low since, so I think $0.59 is a great price. They are $1.07 at my Walmart and even the multipacks I’ve seen in the ads this year haven’t been this low. If your Walgreens is sold out, you could also price match at Walmart. Another great stocking stuffer for little boys.
