I love this book. My mother-in-law bought it for me when I got married, and I still find it useful. I think it would make a great wedding gift or college graduation gift.
I don’t know too many people that still buy cookbooks-we all get the recipes on line now 🙂
So fast & easy!
Really? I disagree. I love having cookbooks on my shelves. The cookbooks these days are gorgeous and well put together. Sure, the net is nice for recipes, but there is nothing like holding a book in your hands. If anyone is looking for an amazing cookbook with a gorgeous cover, try ‘What to Cook & How to Cook It’. Truly fabulous.
When I click on this it says it’s $12.
And this is a great book. If you are used to standard recipe format (ingredients at the top, then directions) it takes a little getting used to because they are all mixed up. Otherwise, the recipes are awesome.
You can find lots of recipes online, but they are basically translations/”improvements” of existing recipes. It’s kind of hit or miss for me. I’d rather have the original in many cases.
This book is fantastic. My parents have one (Probably from when they got married.) so it’s about 30 years old.. But it has so very many recipes in it. It’s usually the first recipe book I grab off the shelf, haha.

What in the world are knife fingers????
