I do not like their customer service at all! I received couple of gift packs from them and usually they call you and say “we’re at your house now”, and what if i am at work or at my childs doc appt? i do not like this “now” thing. I asked to leave package by the door, they did not and showed an attitude like how come you’re not at home…I think they shuld call you first nd see when you’re available…

    • Becca-Lynn

So, I guess you expect this from DHL, UPS, and Fed Ex also???? Someone is ordering it for you as a gift, they are asked when they place the order whether you will be there or not. If they expect you to be there it is not the companies fault that you arent there!!

      • Me

then leave it at the door!

        • BB

This can not be left at the door, it is food, chocolate & fruit, for that matter. It will melt, or spoil. Maybe up north this is customary, but in the south, there have been many problems with animals getting ahold of it, and/or it being spoiled by the time the customer makes it home.

          • Janessa

They actually can leave these items at the door if you are okay with it. EA have these disposabloe cooler bags if it is not TOO hot outside. Most drivers only work from noon to 5pm. Also when the person who orders the arrangements for you do not leave a good phone number to reach you, it makes it way harder on the delivery driver.

      • Alea

I completely agree – I really don’t know of any company that works with our schedules – even cable companies expect us to keep a whole day free for them. I have no complaints whatsoever with our Edible Arrangements store – they are absolutely wonderful! 🙂

        • Angie

I like them. Food should not be left out doors because if they do and you then turn around and eat it and get sick they are responsible whether you say they aren’t or not! And, edible arrangements DOES NOT choose the time they deliver the person who orders it for you DOES! Before placing a bad comment about a company you should really think about it! Go attack the person who sent it to you, maybe next time they will send you nothing

Awesome deal is finally back! Last time i brought 3 and the location I chose had great service. Thanks for the update and may pick up 4 orders this time.

    • Danielle

I agree, LOVE these! SO delicious! The ladies at my local shop are always so nice!

      • Kelli

Its not really an “awesome deal”. Its incredibly expensive. For $10 you can buy a lot of fruit and chocolate and make your own.

        • Russ

          amen.

        • rose

I thought the same thing! It’s only fruit pieces PARTIALLY dipped in chocolate. You can do this yourself in a few minutes and much cheaper.

  3. Nicole R.

i have never tried them, i might just try them with a deal like this! thanks 🙂

  4. Jen

I also had extremely poor customer service. I ordered two gifts for two different people and they forgot the teddy bear with one and the bear and balloons with the other. Nothing but frustration for me and the recipient. Do NOT recommend this company!

  5. Lorissa

I use to order from them 1-2 times a year. When they did this promo before, the store by me said they don’t participate in these – so you might want to call your local store first. (And I haven’t been back there since)

  6. Kelli

That is still almost a dollar per piece of fruit. Very expensive if you ask me. You can make your own at home much cheaper and its a fun activity with kids. Just my opinion of course. Enjoy.

    • Lee

Lol i just asked my husband to get it for me and he said the same thing….

    • Alea

It’s nearly $3 for ONE chocolate dipped strawberry at Godiva. I think it would be about the same price if you used the same chocolate and high quality fruit – and they just never come out quite as nice as they do from Edible Arrangements.

  7. Mona

Same here about not participating in the promo. Last time I tried the store nearest to me said they were not participating in the deal and seemed not to care whether I was interested in their product or not. Very cold attitude.

  8. Tamara

I did this last time and I got a box of a dozen dipped strawberries. They were great! I also usually buy the chocolate and strawberries and dip them myself, but for $10, I wanted to try them out as a possible gift in the future and as a treat for myself. It was nice not having any prep or cleanup for once.

  9. katie

To all of you saying that you could do this for cheaper at home, edible arrangements uses real chocolate to dip their fruit. So if you are going to do this at home you need a tempering machine, knowledge about tempering, and good quality chocolate, ie not chocolate chips and definitely not those wafers that you buy at hobby lobby, which are not actually chocolate,

    • Danielle

thank you!!! The chocolate from edible arrangements is so decadent! it is MUCH better then anything I could do at home with one of those little kits you get at harris teeter 😉 And honestly, I am all about being thrifty, but I also think it is nice to treat yourself, or someone you love, and if you can do it for $10 as opposed to the regular price of $25 that is still saving $15 for an amazing box of treats!

      • katie

Yep! Chocolate chips from the grocery store are not made for dipping. they are made to be put in chocolate chip cookies. Chocolate that is made for dipping has a much higher cocoa butter content an so is much more expensive. And then there are the tempering machines, which are very expensive, or hand tempering, which takes a fair amount of skill and a ton of patience. 10 dollars doesn’t sound bad to me at all!!

    • rose

You don’t need a tempering machine to melt chocolate. You can use a double broiler or melt in a sauce pan over boiling water.

      • Julie

or take some patience and melt it in the micro, and stir every 10 seconds.
or buy a container of fruit dip.

        • Danielle

that’s what Katie was trying to explain… the chocolate used by Edible Arrangements is MUCH better then the “fruit dip” chocolate wafer pieces or even chocolate chips. it is a better type of chocolate, and you can tell when you eat the fruit. I understand it may not be worth the money for some, but it is definitely not the same end product. I’ve tried making my own, and they are good, but not even close to professionally done.

    • Sarah

I agree with you Katie. The chocolate is much higher quality than what you can make at home. If you are all about saving money and don’t care about having high quality treats every once in awhile, then pass on this (and please don’t keep complaining about it). BUT if you really like to treat yourself once in awhile then I would say that this is an AWESOME deal!!! My hubby used to send these to my work when I still worked and we had more money, but since I don’t work any more we haven’t had the money for him to splurge on me. 🙁 (I even read the email I got about this to him in hopes that he might find $10 to surprise me. BOY do I love their chocolate strawberries!!!!) 😉

  10. Becca-Lynn

Just want to let you all know, if you plan on having this delivered to someone remember that this is not something that can be left on the porch when delivered. So, please make sure someone will be home on the day you have it delivered. When someone is not home, it has to be re-made the next day and re-delivered. These are a Great gift and every girl loves chocolate!!! If you are not sure they will be home its not uncommon to have the person you are purchasing for to pick it up in store since it is a perishable item!! Believe me, They don’t mind, they are just happy to recieve it. lol!

  11. Meredith

Saw this deal right before church and we swung by the local store afterwards to pick up our order. So delicious! We had always wanted to try their products so this deal was perfect!

  12. Leslie M.

I bought this deal last year and loved it! I bought one for a friend’s birthday gift and it was perfect for her. For me, it is worth every bit of the $10 that I spent to be able to give a beautiful, unique and delicious gift! Thank you for posting this again!

  13. Rachel

Sounds good for a special treat & I would love to try it but no stores close enough to me. Enjoy! 🙂

  14. Amanda M

I have had some virus for a week that has had me in bed day in and say out! On top of it found out I was pregnant with #3 YIKES! So I definitely deserve this sweet treat in my opinion! Thank you for posting!!!

  15. Amanda

Being 6 months pregnant, I am all for paying 10 bucks for some chocolate covered fruit! Thanks

  16. johnya

It gets really old reading peoples negative comments if you dont like edible arrangements dont click the post, if you dont like that they wont leave fresh fruit on your porch so it can go bad by getting warm and then they have to listen to you call and complain then dont comment, its a good deal considering its normally $25 dollars you pay for someone else to make it for you just like you pay more for eggs when you go to dennys. sorry about the rant it just gets so old.

    • johnya

thank you Collin for the post i personally love their fruit the chocolate is so good and they use such fresh fruit. 🙂 yummy!!

    • Becca-Lynn

      Thank You Johnya! Totally agree!!

    • Julie

I think it’s good even when others share their their “complain” posts. People can express their opinions, and it might help someone decide if they are right for the deal.

  17. jill

This would be a wonderful small gift for someone! Thanks for posting it!
I recently recieved an edible arrangement and was impressed with how good it was.

  18. Lorna

Yes this is an awesome deal for those who want to treat themselves once in while & include a friend or two. The fruit was fresh, the dark chocolate was great, & the price was in my budget. Good luck for those trying it at home.

  19. Sonia

I think it’s a nice gesture from my husband when he’s sent these in the past, especially right after I had my second baby and everyday chores were a challenge!! The older baby loves these healthy snacks and that is super thoughtful of my husband to send when he’s off working out of town!!!

  20. Kelly

Does anyone know if this is dark chocolate?

    • Becca-Lynn

It is semi sweet chocolate. they also have white chocolate.

  21. Kim

I know I could make this for less but I still ordered this for a surprise for my husband and he is going to be so happy!

  22. Brenda D

I’m reading the negative comments and feeling a little sad. These stores are locally owned and the customer service will vary. Our local store in IL and the store near family in NY are awesome! They do events at local preschools where the kids create a dipped fruit shape on a stick, they donate generously to many local causes including Relay for Life, Boys and Girls Club, Catholic Social Services. Most recently they donated a beautiful bouquet valued at over $100 for an auction event I chaired to raise $ for a fund for burial/funeral expenses for early infant loss. In our state there are no longer any public funds available to assist families in this very difficult time. Go Edible Arrangements; your philanthropic endeavors are awesome.

  23. Elaine in NC

The Lynchburg VA store was quite pleasant! Kelle was great over the phone taking my order. I will order again if the fruit is yummy…especially on a deal for someone special like my daughter!!

  24. barbara
