Glad some other hip2save readers could grab the deal:)

  2. Kelly

Hi, I only bought one paper…so I only have one of the $1 off coupons could i only buy 1 bag at 2 dollars or will the bag be regular price. Do I have to buy 2/4 dollars?? Thanks in advance

    • moosiemom

you need to buy two. if you only buy 1 bag, it will cost you $2.99 and you can’t even use the wags coupon. so, with your $1/1 coupon. your final will be $1.99 a bag

      • mday

Ok why can’t you use the Walgreens coupon?

        • amaris

because the walgreens coupon is $1 off two bags..so you would have to buy 2 bags to use the walgreens coupon.

          • mday

I see so at my location it is 2/400 I use this 1.00 Walgreens plus the manufactures 1.00/1
( I already used the other coupon or else I do two on the 1.00/1) now I just pay 2.00 not bad really… IT is still a good deal.. Walmart price on the Kettle is 1.98. So for two bags at 2.00 it is good.. Or I can just go to Walmart…

But I see the point you were expressing regarding the purchase one but can’t use the Walgreens coupon.. Thanks 🙂

  3. sophia

is there a limit to how many i can buy using the feburary coupon booklet coupon at wags?

  4. Caro

No q in the SE PDX paper. 🙁

    • Caro

Oops, I just found the q. Hope they’re on sale here!

  5. Libby

We found these on managers special at kroger’s today for $1.49, coupons double and I had 2 so .49cents a bag!!!

    • Libby

oops $1 off coupon, silly me lol

  6. Lauren

Can someone tell me what this coupon looks like please? The only ones I’m seeing online are the ones for kettle BAKED chips, reduced fat, or off the 4 oz size. Just want to make sure I get the right ones and don’t end up with a bunch of coupons that I can’t use for this deal! Thanks!

    • AngieJB

Coupon states $1/1 bag of kettle brand chips 4 oz or larger. It has a green bag and then a brown bag next to it. (on the right side of the coupon) I got it in texas so modify your search on ebay to a TX zipcode (78705) and search for nearest.

      • Lauren

        Sweet thanks!

  7. Kimberly

Kelly, I think you have to buy 2 to get them for the $2 price (2/$4). I was there last week and got a bag of M&M’s that they had a 2 for deal on and she said I had to get 2 to get them at that price.

    • Kelly

      Ok thanks 🙂

  8. jennifer

The February coupon booklet is not yet out for Walgreens. You’ll have to wait until the 1st, that has been my experience at least, to get that $1/2 Walgreens coupon.

    • leily8200

If your store won’t put the new books out until the first of the month (even though they start the sunday before) Then you can print the coupon off of walgreens.com. ALL of their monthly coupons are available on their website.

    • mel

drug stores don’t follow the 30 day month 1-30, their calender month runs from the 1st Sunday of the week of the new month, which would be yesterday 1/29 until the last Saturday of the month, which will be 2/25.

    • mday

No they have them ask for it at the register.. I asked for my when they aren not on display.

  9. Lonnie

our february coupon book came out today….and usually with walgreens ( at least ours here in houston) if it’s 2/for however much, you have to buy two…the almonds I got at walgreens today were $2/4 but if i only bought one i’d had to pay $2.99 for it….silly i know…but that’s how they roll……

    • Alla

Our coupon booklet is out too already, in Buffalo, NY. I used it today and bought cottonelle, emerald nuts, kettle chips and Co Q supplement without any problem. Was really happy for the Co. Q since it was B1G1 and the coupon book deducted the $7.00 off twice. It was a great trip tonight. All the credit goes to Mrs. Hip, Collin 🙂

      • Jennifer

Hi Alla – Where in Buffalo did you get the 2/$4 Kettle Chips? My bf loves these but they are all 2/$6 around my area (Orchard Park). Thanks!

        • Alla

I go them in 3605 sheridan drive Wags in Amherst. As you enter they are at the back of the left handside counter with a sign 2/$4.

          • Jennifer

            Thank you so much!

    • jiya

I am in kansas & I have same issue….only get 1 insert to more harder to get these deals)-:

  10. CherylCh

I just ran out to Walgreens and these are priced differently at my Walgreens.
The tag says “2/$5, after the Feb. Coupon, etc.” They are on “sale” 2/$6 before the Walgreens coupon, thus, even with the manufacterer’s coupons the chips are 2/$3. Not a bad price, but, not the 50 cents per bag that I was expecting! I am very used to shopping at Walgreens, but, when their tags include the coupon price……it catches me off guard sometimes. Their pricing can be very sneaky……..if you don’t have the store coupon with you, the register will charge you full price. That just seems wrong to me, but, we shoppers have to be on our toes. 🙂

    • Jennifer

The deal is the same at my Walgreens (2/$6 or $2/5 after the WAGs coupon). I wonder if this deal is regional? It is showin 2/$4 on their website…

    • Ronni

Same here 2/$5….I bought them anyway, not a bad price. Although the Feb book was not yet on the display so I had to mention it to the cashier to get the correct price. You have to be on your “A” game when you shop at Walgreens!

      • katee

the deal may be regional, at my NH store they are 2/$6, the NH flyers dont have the deal listed but the MA ones do. my store is right on the NH/MA border. weird.

        • katee

i asked the asst. manager at the store i went to today in NH and he told me that stores that sell alcohol(their NH store) had alcohol and such in the place of the chips and other items. and the chips and such were on sale in the states that do not sell alcohol, like MA stores.
so maybe this is a possibility? would that make sense from what people are finding?

          • Sarah

It’s in my ad for 2/$2 after store coupon and we live in a dry county in AR (there at least 5 dry counties around where we live). Our ads always look different than the ad from Little Rock (not a dry county.)

        • rose

My Walgreen in KY doesn’t have this deal posted either. I had the manager check and the chips were $2.99 each.

  11. amber

In Des moines Iowa the chips are priced 2/6 this week! I will save my coupons and hope for a price drop or sale next week.

  12. sophia

Boo my store in Socal, Orange COunty is on “sale” for 2 for $5.58 – 2 $1 mq and $1 in store = $2.58 . $1.29 per bag doesn’t sound too appealing… 🙁

  13. Vanessa Hudson

these chips are yum! Bought 2 for $1…couldnt pass up this deal!

  14. DeeJ

    Tx I love Kettle

  15. shirl

Our Walgreens is 2/$5 after the store coupon as others have stated. Factor in using 2 $1/1 MQ they would make them $1.50 bag. Not a bad price but not .50 cents a bag. Usually walgreens have the same sales unlike wal-mart. I would like to know where they are 2/$4.

  16. Rene

Jacksonville,FL 2/$6 and then 2/$5 after walgreens $1/2 store coupon =( I got these about 2 weeks ago at publix for only $1.69 for for 2 bags because it was on bogo. I hope that deal comes back.

    • Rene

Walgreens February coupon book starts 1/29/2012 BTW =)

  17. laurie

Fresno, CA is also 2/$5 which makes it $1.50 per bag.

    • CaliGrl

Thanks Laurie, I’m going to wait because I’ve seen this much cheaper! Nice to see a Valley person here on Hip2save!:)

  18. Alla

Thank you, Collin. I checked your site before heading to Wags for my weekly shopping and saw this awesome deal for the chips. They were indeed 2/$4 at my Wags in Buffalo, NY and after the wags coupon book and manif coupons they were $.50 each. I had to do these in a separate transaction with M & M’s because the emerald nuts and kettle corp chips had the same coupon in the booklet so I was afraid it might deduct either one and the other one will not be deducted since it states one coupon per offer or someth. like that. Thank you for the heads up 🙂

  19. Misty

Made a special trip to my KY Walgreens only to find them $3.29 a piece….big bummer! Hope they will go on sale soon!

  20. Ericswifeowensmom

Does anyone know if I can use the walgreens q and 2 man qs on 2 bags price matched at walmart?

    • MelissaA

      Walmart won’t accept a WAGS coupon. Just a manufacturer’s

  21. olga

my daughters birthday is middle of April how far in advance can I start to stock up on chips?

    • ericswifeowensmom

Now is good, just Check the expiration dates on the chips to make sure they expire after April

  22. mday

Well I went yesterday to my Wonderful exciting Walgreens in San Marcos Texas… It was a sheer nightmare the clerk did not want to take my coupons because it did not look like the pictures ????? Then he said since the items were on Sale anyways, I shouldn’t bother using the coupons????? I had to force him to use the coupons which he began to argue with me.. The manager then came after he notice a long line and the clerk screaming at me!!! He told him to just enter the coupon codes and stop arguing with the customer.. But he began argueing with the Manager????? I asked the manager to kindly redo the charges because they wer wrong and they wanted me to pay 15.00.. The manager refused at first.. Then I told him I will pay but I will come back and request a meeting with the district manager.. So he took a look at receipt and told the clerk he didn’t understand what the heck he hand done, which in turn the clerk blamed me?????
Finally I was moved to the cosmetic counter were a very nice lady helped me with the help of the overlooking Manager. When it was all said and done I spent $3.92.. I informed the manager that I always had difficulty here in this particular store with regards to coupons he said, that I needed to go to the cosmetic department so I wouldn’t hold the line???????No apology was done.. I then informed him that it didn’t matter were I went it was always difficult.. I left after being there 2hrs. Im glad my receipt had the Survey on it.. I will be using it.. Oh by the way I did this transaction and I also had a HECK of a time explaining to the Manager how it workded. for the Nature Bounty buy one get one free using Walgreens coupons and manufactured coupons… It was a nightmare…

The guy in back of the line said he just wanted cigarettes and the Manager was so rude.. I told the manager I was willing to wait so he could tend to his customers. He told the guy behind me that if he wanted cigarettes he just had to wait!!!!

What a nightmare!!!!! I felt so bad for the guy…!!!
Really do they think that is the only store in town!!!!!

    • Reyna

      Hi MDay,
I would also place a call to their customer service number…800-925-4733 (WALGREEN). I had a HORRIFIC experience at a Walgreens in Franklin Park, IL Saturday 1/28 morning, the manager is definitely NOT a fan of coupons…today…I received a call from the store manager and the acting district manager…said district manager was out of town and will be calling me when she gets back…sometimes people need to be reminded that we are customers…coupons or no coupons!

      • mday

Thanks for that important piece of information…. Thanks so much will be doing this morning!!!

    • rose

Your experience sounds like mine at my local Walmart. Always a nightmare. I have already received 2 $25 gift cards from the regional office b/c of the problems I’ve had with coupons and rude cashiers.

      • mday

Horrible isn’t it!!! I wonder how the manufactures would feel if we told them stores like Walgreens and Walmart refuse to take them or gave you a hard time for a little disocunt. The good news is I just called the Walgreens Customer Service number and spoke to someone, and gave them my story… Hope they do something about it!!!

        • Tee

Mday, sorry you had another bad experience at the rr12 walgreens. Always check out in cosmetics. Carol and Amanda are very nice coupon friendly cashiers and Rachel is a helpful manager.

  23. MelissaA

I went to my Walgreens late last night, Sunday night, and asked the manager (who knows me well) if these were 2/$4 on sale and he said YES!!! I about died! LOL
I got EIGHT bags at 50 cents apiece. THANK YOU for posting this deal!!!!!!!!
    The family loves these!

  24. Tracy

Eight bags of chips? …sigh… and then I wonder why they were all sold out when I just wanted to buy TWO bags today.

  25. Agnes

$1/1 coupons found in the 11/8 RedPlum

  26. Barbara Yox

I am also in Buffalo, NY and my Wags didn’t have the chips on sale. I got two bags anyway since I had a taste for them. :p

    • Amy

      Which Wags in Buffalo?

  27. Angela

These were 2/6 at my Walgreens… or 2/5 with in-store coupon. Ended up paying $1.50 each. Bummed it wasn’t less, but not a bad deal!
