Got it, and I love free money!

  3. Laura

    Fantastic!

  4. Suzanne

    I love these CVS deals!

  5. Val

    Awesome… Love Love Love CVS!!!!

  6. Brandi Elam

Do you just get an email with the $20 and you print it or how does it work?

    • Erin

It mentions e-gift card, so I’m guessing so! I’ve used CVS e-gift cards a lot in the past. Sometimes the cashier is confused, but just point out that it works the same as a regular gift card (and point to the directions on the certificate). 🙂 Hope this helps!

  7. Laney

A little bit leery of this deal since I got burned by Savemore (same sort of deal). What’s everyone’s experience with Living Social! I would so like to buy this!

    • Brittny Woiuler

I buy Living social deals weekly. Never had a problem. If you can’t use it–just call and they refund you within 48 hours. They have awesome customer service.

    • Mandy

Living Social is awesome! I’ve bought several deals from them (mostly movie tickets). I haven’t had any problems at all.

    • wendy

I did the whole food e gift card without a problem from living social.

    • Asmith

No problem with living social or groupon. I had problems with other daily deal sites and I am personally only sticking with those two. I did have one problem with Living social and I was able to call the 1800 number and speak to a human being who apologized and corrected them matter quickly.

    • Heather

I hear you. Also had a bad experience with SaveMore. Being burned once makes me scared to jump on deals like this.

      • Nikki

Savemore is pretty bad. I know several people (including myself) that have had problems with them.

      • Taraneh

I think there are certain sites you should be leery of, but livingsocial is definitely not one of them. they have great customer service and are very reputable just like groupon.

    • Amanda

Speaking of SaveMore. I bought the Smile Bright Teeth Whitening Pen and tried contacting SaveMore and the manufacturer or the Whitening Pen and have gotten nowhere. It’s been a good while now. Then, I purchased the Papa John’s gift certificate and I can’t seem to redeem it. Is anyone else having problems with this sort of thing?

      • Erin

Check out their Facebook wall! It’s crazy and filled with complaints! Your best bet is to reach out through FB and if that doesn’t work, go through your credit card.

      • Lindseyac

I actually did receive the Smile Bright Teeth Whitening Pen, but the Papa John’s gift card deal doesn’t work. I tried to get through to anyone at Living Social and could never reach a live person. They eventually emailed me back that I would receive a refund on my credit card in 3-5 days. Of course, they never refunded me. So, I had to call my credit card (it is a Citi card). Citi card refunded the money under fraud. Then I received a letter from Citi stating that it had been resolved. So, I think you need to have your credit card company get the refund for you. It seems Living Social will only refund if they are dealing with another company.

No problems – I have been using them for a while. Love them!! Meghan

    • claire

Never ever a problem with Living Social. I was also burned by SaveMore – scammers!

    • Pat

Claire – Living Social is more comparable to Groupon. SaveMore is aweful and should be avoided like a plague. You will come to love Living Social. I recently joined where you pay $20 per month because I use it a lot.

  8. Laura

Never ever had a problem with Living Social!

  9. Russ

Got it, thanks! Just used up my last CVS gift card this past weekend.

  10. Karen

    Got it..thanks!

  11. Janelle

Is the voucher printable or mailed?

  12. Melissa

    awesome, thanks!

  13. swirlypop

How does an e certificate work? Would like to have an actual card to use.

    • Janelle

That’s what I was wondering too.. is it printable or mailed?

      • swirlypop

The fine print says “e certificate”.

    • Susan

You print it and it has a barcode and pin. It’s very easy to use.

  14. Julie

    Got one thanks!

  15. Mollie

Bought a $20 Amazon certificate from Living Social once with no problems. Just bought the CVS deal…hoping all goes well. My only concern is that it says participating CVS locations, but there is no option on the store locator of CVS.com to specify “Accepts Living Social Voucher.”

    • Erin

I’ve never had a problem using these at any CVS.

    • Yoko

I don’t know why it says that at fine prints. You should be able to use it at any CVS stores since it’s an e-gift certificate. You are buying a voucher which you need to redeem for CVS e-gift certificate, then you print it out for $20 e-GC. Make sure to point it out to a cashier that is an gift certificate, not a CVS store coupon. If he/she follows instruction on the e-GC, it should go though fine.

  16. Tammy

    Got one…thanks11

  17. Anna

Can you use this to pay for a prescription at CVS?

    • Katie

      no

    • misty

Collin listed above that it is valid for prescriptions hth

  18. phelan

    thank you!

  19. Anna

Yea! I was planning on doing a big buy this week and this helps out so much! Thanks HTS!

  20. yenay

    Thanks

  21. Jennifer

    Just got mine! Thanks!

  22. Julie

Thanks! I know i will use that!

  23. Laura

Got one! 🙂 Thanks so much!!

  24. amandamarie927amanda

since it has a barcode and pin do i have to use it all at once or can i use part and part again? i really wont use all $20 at once

    • michelle o

It’s used as a gift card with the exception that you print it yourself. You can use it as many times as you need in any increment (up to $20 of course).

  25. Laura C

The fine print (before you go to purchase it) says that it cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion. Does this mean we cannot use coupons with it? Also, will we not be able to use the CVS coupons for $4 off of $20 with it? I’m a little nervous since we weren’t able to use store coupons with the Old Navy e-certificate from Groupon a few months ago.

    • Pat

Laura – You use your coupons and ECB’s just like you normally would then pay with the gift card, just like cash.

    • Erin

I’ve gotten similar deals (CVS eGift Cards) in the past and they’ve always worked with other coupons/deals.

    • Yoko

You are buying $20 CVS e-gift certificate with this LivingSocial deal. You can use all the coupons you have because it’s a gift certificate. I have bought CVS e-GC from other daily websites before. Just make sure your CVS cashier reads and follows the instruction on the e-GC when ringing. Most of them have never seen e-GC before and they automatically assume you are trying to use CVS coupons you printed out. If they follow the instruction, e-GC should go though fine. Any unused balance stays in the e-GC, so get it back if you have any balance left.

    • MH

I wondered that too. Any answers?

    • Laura C

Thanks so much, ladies! Very helpful 🙂

    • Laura C

Oh no!! : ( They are all SOLD OUT now 🙁

    • kidsallgone

I’ve purchased many of these before (even through the CVS.com website) and have had no problems using it with CVS qpons, man qpons, & ECBs.

But the best part is seeing the expressions on the cashiers face when I hand them the paper that I printed off with the barcode on it. Even though it has directions on it for the cashier, they look at it and look at me like they’ve seen a martian!! Happens every time (have to call a manager over, etc etc). Managers usually know what to do, or I point to the instructions and say, “It’s a gift card. Push the gift card button.” LOL!

      Thanks Collin!! Got mine 🙂 🙂 :

      • mel

isn’t it the funniest thing to see their face! then they try to scan the bar code and I’m like its a Payment, NOT an extrabuck!

  26. cdawnt

Off the subject, but didn’t know where to ask. Is there something wrong with the Hip List? I add something and it doesn’t add anything, but says it added it. When I delete something it says it has been deleted but it’s still there. This has been going on several weeks, I just now thought to ask.

    • Ashley57

This happened to me too. Do you use your hiplist on more than one computer? I noticed that you have to log out and then log back in to “refresh” the list if you are using it on more than one computer and have it on automative log-in.

  27. Jenny

I’ve purchased and used 2 vouchers from Livingsocial before (Whole Foods and a local restaurant). I haven’t experienced any problems w/ it. Also if you share w/ three friends that buy, you can get it for free! Thanks for sharing Hip2save team, hope you got your deal for free!!

  28. mel

nice! Used my $10 AMEX GC I earned from CVS a few months ago!! $10 MM!

  29. melissa

    Got one! Thanks

  30. Cindy Drago

Thank you! This will certainly come in handy. I will say that my past three living social transactions have presented problems so they are not without their issues. The first two (not able to click on the deal and open the vouchers once ‘available’) were remedied, the third and most recent one has not yet been, although they did offer to refund what I paid for the voucher if that was what I wanted.

  31. Susan

Does anyone know if you can “gift” this to someone else? I’d like to give it to my son at college, but there’s no “gift” option for this deal. Is it transferable?

    • kidsallgone

I would think you could just forward your email to him and he could print it out and use it. JMO 🙂

      • Susan

That’s what I was thinking. I didn’t know if it has a name on it or whatever. I want to give him the least hassle possible using it.

  32. SD

    Got it. Great deal.
Always shop wherever I have the most coupons and who has the best sales.
I’ve been successful every time on Living Social. No problems.

  33. Karen

Thank you! I especially like that it can be “used over multiple visits”!

  34. Gaby

I’ll pass. I can easily get cvs giftcards from swagbucks .

  35. Nicole P

Got mine for free !! I had $10 Deal bucks from them because they were late responding to me and I missed out on a deal because of it so after that was applied my voucher was free!! Thank you so much, I would have missed this if not for you!
