There are also all sorts of free point opportunities, though they’re usually only 1 point at a time (sometimes 2-4). When you’re looking at nearby stores, if you see one with a star in its icon, there are instant points available.. click the store and then you may have to scroll through some “ads” to find the bonus..

i just became a member a few weeks ago and love it.
I have had Shopkick for several months — maybe even a year. I love it, but I must confess, I use all my points to get Facebook credits to feed my game addictions. 😀

On the iPhone, it’s in the top center of the screen — a green bar with K and the number you have.
I was going to get these scans, but the deal is over according to my phone. Very shortlived!
Yeah, my Stride scan was only 10pts
It was on a pull-down menu above the store list. The bonus was mentioned there, ten minutes later it said the bonus was over, now all mention is completely gone.

Best Buy was offering if you spent $10 or more you got 75 kicks. I gave the cashier my information. How do you know when you get the 75 kicks?
Usually there’s a bar code they scan and you get the points immediately.

I guess if I had more (extra) time, I’d investigate this, but in the meantime, I’ll stick to Ebates since that one is right at my brain’s level 🙂

They were 75 and then when I went to the store, they changed to 10 each.

When I go in a lot of stores none of the items are there to scan. How are these items picked? I gave up when I went to 3 different stores and the items were no where to be found.
Sorry for the confusion! Unfortunately, I was just told by Shopkick that there were only a limited number of scans available for the special 75 kicks. 🙁

how do you use the app to check in somewhere?
The app is good so far. I had it for about 2 weeks. I don’t like the fact that it uses alot of battery life 🙁 I use it if i’m only heading to certain stores and then close the app once I gets my kicks.

Just an fyi to everyone I go into my shopkick app everyday and score up to 10 points or more. Here’s how click on nearby stores also make sure to add your favorites when you sign up. Then each store that has a star means there is an instant suprise it will tell you how many to look for. You then click on the instant suprise row and scroll thru till you find the star (it will say instant surprise in bright green). Then tap on it and your kickbuck will come up. I sometime score 3 kickbucks just in one store. Love this app. I recently collected $10 off at target with just 3000 kickbucks!
Has anyone else had issues where it says something like, “Oops, that isn’t the correct bar code” when scanning items? I have noticed it on a few things, most recently one of the three Pantene items you are supposed to scan… and I am SURE I am scanning the right item. : )
THIS APP IS GETTING AGGRAVATING– HALF OF THE STUFF DONT EVEN SCAN!!!! waste of time– makes u wonder if this is even legit– they dont reply to your problems ever!
