No, regular ziploc bags won’t work with it.
I’ve heard that you CAN use Ziploc bags. Haven’t tried it myself though.
I can’t remeber where i read it, but it said you can use a special type of ziploc brand bags that have a special hole/valve in it (kind of like the ones you are supposed to use with this hand held vaccum system.) but i have never looked for them since i rarely use the one i got when Collin did a deal on this that came with the bads and 2 containers a while ago. Ziploc has there own little “pump” system that goes with the bags. hth.
Ziplock does make their own vacuum seal bags and these work great with the foodsaver!

I have had both the handheld and the countertop and while I LOVE the countertop machines, I would not recommend wasting your money on the handheld, even if it’s free. I didn’t like it at all. To me, it was no better than squeezing the air out of a plastic bag. Even the literature on it recommends using it for deli meats and cheeses, not for the heavy duty freezing and storing I do with my countertop one.

I got it to print!! I was on Chrome, so I tried Internet Explorer, and it printed there! Try using a different browser!
I was on chrome as well couldn’t print it then i switched to firefox and it workeds thanks 🙂
ME TOO…Just call Target and after much confusion between me and the lady on the phone that barely spoke English. She said it seems like they are having techinical issues and to keep trying! Also said that I can get the coupons at any Target store. So frustrating!

I printed mine this morning and it says $10 off FoodSaver appliance… But under that is shows 3 different units the coupon is good for. Is this the new one you are speaking of where you can get one for free?

Do you have to use the bags that come from FoodSaver for this appliance? I got the small FoodSaver when Collin posted it for 9.99 shipped a while back but haven’t used it yet. I only got it after I read through comments of users saying they used regular Ziploc bags with it. You know, sometimes you buy these things then find the accessories for it are so costly. Does anyone know about this one? Thanks for your help and thanks Collin!
Can the target coupon be used towards the bags or only the sealing system?

Yes, you need bags. The best value is the $19.99 box. There’s also a $9.99 box, but they are precut and there are so few that it’s not worth it to me.

Try using a different browser. I was able to print using Internet Explorer (I was trying on Chrome).
I’m using IE and it’s not working. I have never had a problem in the past.
IE didn’t work for me either but I just tried FireFox. The issue solved by updated the coupon activator.

Not sure if this was already mentioned, but you can also print a BOGO Target coupon for foodsaver bags, and a $2 off coupon for foodsave bags on coupons.com

I do believe these require their own bags, so keep this in mind before you purchase them. Someone above said you can use Ziploc bags with them, but it probably doesn’t work as well.

I buy the rolls, not the precut bags and they last forever! I use my foodsaver a lot too. The precut bags are a waste to me because I don’t always need the same size bags. They carry the rolls at Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, etc. And they are $19.99. The B1G1 coupon is an awesome deal! The roll really does last a long time and really does keep the food fresh. HTH:)
While printing this coupons I also saw one for BOGO for the bags and coupons.com has a matching q for $2/1 bag. Should make for a good deal on the bags. 🙂

try to uninstall the coupon printer and reinstall it. Then clear your cookies and reopen your browser. Hth!
are you using windows XP? I couldn’t print from anything but IE through XP; called their CS and they said some people using XP with that issue, and to just use IE for and of the bricks, and coupons.com coupons.
At Target when you have a target B1G1 Free coupon, and a manuf. coupon for dollars off. Can you use 2 manuf. coupons or just one?

If it is a Target B1G1 coupon, I think you are allowed to use two manf. coupons, as long as there is not overage.
I think it depends on who is checking you out. Sometimes they let me use 2 and sometimes they don’t. i also have never had one of the coupons beep. sometimes the cashier takes it upon themselves to make sure i am following the rules (even if their version of the rules aren’t the same as their policy)
It is my understanding that you can use 1 Target & 1 MF on EACH item so to me it makes sense to use the B1G1 & 2 2$ coupons. But thats just me 🙂
To me, their policy reads that you can only use one cents-off coupon on a BOGO deal:
If a Target BOGO coupon is used, one additional manufacturer coupon may be used on the first item.
If a Manufacturer BOGO coupon is used, one additional Target coupon may be used on the first item.

My experience last week with returning something to target that i used coupons for (opened up the lipstick and the it was all smashed into the cap) was i got only EXACTLY what i paid for. So from my recent experience you would basically just give it back to them & not get anything back

I had to return things that I used coupons for. The receipt has wording on it that says “return amount”. I generally ask for my coupons back if they will not refund the entire amount. They generally just stare at me for a few moments, then return my full amount.

They should have given you the amount of the manufacturers coupon back since they will still be receiving reimbursement from it. You did get jipped, and target made a few bucks 🙁
I took an unopened DVD back that was $6.99 and I used a $3 coupon on. I figured I would only get $3.99 back and even told customer service that I had used a coupon on the purchase and pointed out the amount. She said it was coming up as $6.99 anyway, and gave me back the entire amount. I just had her put it on a giftcard for me.
This morning I got 2 handheld Foodsavers for free with TQ and MQ. I also bought 4 quart size bags and used 2 BOGO TQ’s and 4 $2 off MQ so paid only $10 for 4 bags of foodsaver bags and 2 handheld foodsavers.

the $10 target coupon does beep, the manuf coupon does not beep. a quick explanation to the cashier that I am using 1 target coupon and 1 manuf coupon, he pushed it through
I just tried to print the TQ – it gave me this message: “The coupons you selected did not print Coupons may not print because the maximum allowed prints may have been reached between the time the coupon was presented to you and the time you tried to print the coupon. This may also occur if you had previously printed the maximum for that coupon, but we were unable to detect that before your print started.”
Update: I went back and started over and now it worked! Tricky little coupon, tricky!!
I “purchased” the foodsaver and will go back in the am for the bags since I didnt see that listed before I ran to the car to check if my Target 2 miles away had it. Took the kids and husband with me and let them get clearance Easter candy, its 90% off. 4 bags of mini eggs, 4 chocolate bunnies, 1 white chocolate bunny, 1 jumbo bunny ,1baby bottle, 1 star wars plush and the paas $6.38
I didn’t have trouble printing the TARGET coupons. Just SLOW. But I do have trouble with the Target Sample site. I can not get the form to “open”. It just has the first question, and just sits. Does someone know how I can make it scroll down to the second question? so I can get the samples? Help Please. Thanks.
I just had an awful time for some reason hardly any of my target coupons would scan. They finally pushed it through, but it almost wasn’t even worth the headache,!! If their own target coupons aren’t scanning isn’t that their fault?….
You can use Ziploc bags but they have to be the vacuum seal kind.

Just got home from Target with my new food saver! Although my cashier just seemed very confused and hesitated to scan both coupons. She did ask me “how much did it cost ?” I told her 19.99. She looked at me and then just scanned it. 🙂

I did mine today in the A.M at my local Target! I was hesitant but it went through without a glitch. I got it for FREE :). There were only two left.. I wanted to grab the second one but I thought of living it for some one that might need it as well. I just wanted one for my mom, since she has a child nursery at home.
I went to print the Target Q and it still says “select foodsaver” did I miss it?
Got my free foodsaver but had a problem using my target coupon. The coupon beeped and cashier pushed it through but when she did so the coupon amount didn’t deduct. Had to call manager over and he was able to override it. It’s a bit of a hassle and we couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t automatically deduct..but I have been wanting to try this so I’m happy! Btw my.target only had 3 on the shelf so go get yours asap!
The manufacture coupon says may not be used with any other offers. I dont know why some are able to use both coupons. Our Target will only let you use the manufacture coupon on the food saver deal. grrrr.

Mine says Food Saver appliance, but below it it says SmartSeal vacuum sealing system or black vacuum sealing system or vertical unit.

Just got back from Target after looking for the Food Saver deal. I could not see anything in that brand that was under $89.00. Needless to say I did not bother with it. I do have a problem with the Target receipts trying to figure out whether they have deducted both the Target and manufacturers’ coupons and wish they would work a more comprehensible system. Anyone else find the Target receipts a pain to figure? Please let me know I am not alone.
I’m with you too. The only way i can keep track is by calculating the math with an oldfashion calculator and note pad and to watch the screen really close. also i try to do small transactions. I hope they make it easier too someday 🙂
Ugh, im glad most of you guys got this, but i had top throw in the towel. I went today with the 2 coupons, got the last foodsaver and two bags. Finally, at the register everything passed except the target coupon. At first they gave me the BS story that its under the amount and they cant reimburse me for it, so i requested to see a manager. The manager then told me that they don
t have any of those coupons available (again BS). I quickly pulled it up on my phone and proved to them that this was a legit coupon on there site( the coupon didnt even have any exculsions). NOW, there excuse is that the manu q states its for the Vacume sealing machine( it didnt beep but we know that some dont when they shouldnt). If anyone wants to trade for one let me know. I really wanted one but for waiting 40 min in check out and having my magnum minis melt was not worth it to me.

Woohoo! Got one free. there was also another one at same price that was in an as seen on tv package to look out for too if you don’t see the ones pictured. the coupons didn’t beep at my target. Hoping to get a good deal on the bags tonight! Also as a side note PLEASE be kind and decent to cashiers. A couponer in front of me was so rude to the casier and when the casier saw i had coupons too she rolled her eyes and huffed at me. It really does help when we act descent. Yes some can be frustrating but there’s still a polite way of handling things.
It is now printing with the exclusions again. I think it was a glitch with their system. My MAC wouldn’t print any of their coupons this morning and now it is. I used a PC this morning for other coupons and there were exclusions, but when I printed the same coupons a few hours later from my brother’s computer, no exclusions.
