How would it work If I use the B1g1 pantene coupon with the b1g1 50% off?
Depends on your cashier, because they have to manually enter the item price on a B1G1 coupon, but I’ve found most of them enter the lowest price (so you would pay full price for 1 and they would give you the half-priced one free).
My local Wags takes off the full price of the product. So I only pay the half off price for two items
Likewise for me. Since the coupon states you are to get One Free, then they should give you the full value of the full priced one. They get their money back anyhow, so hopefully you all have good luck with that.

Can I just say that avoided WAGS for about 15 months, then went back a few weeks ago for a few good deals. Went today and they were SUPER ANNOYING. She told me I could not use an RR because my next one wouldn’t print. I told her it would, they were different companies. She said, no it won’t. I asked if they had a new coupon policy recently. When she said no, I said let’s try it and see what happens.
She then proceeded to say. “These people put up all these ridiculous things on coupon websites that just don’t work here. I wish people would realize that.”
Guess what printed. My $3 cat – but man was she a pain. I heart CVS!!!
I agree. My Walgreen’s employees need in-serviced on coupons and RR and they it works. I have also got the same scenario and they wont adjust coupons down. They refused to do that at all. I definitely heart CVS!
I also try to stay away from wags myself I only but things if there is this one lady is working she is so sweet and my for year old always asks to go see his girlfriend haha but anyone else is very rude I had to report the manager she got in my face and screamed at me in front of my three children I have not seen her in there since!!!!i love cvs!!!
I have an amazing Walgreen’s when it comes to coupons. I always check out at the cosmetics counter and the manager Angie is so friendly and always pulls out coupons she has if they will work better then what I have. I did have to try almost all the Walgreen’s in my town before I found her so I understand what your going through. Keep your chin up and remember all you can do is try.
I find it funny when I read comments about people having trouble with a few employees and assume the entire company, across the whole country, is the same way. Yes, I’ve had bad cashiers at Walgreens, but I’ve had them at CVS and just about everywhere else I’ve shopped in my life at one point or another. I’ve also had great cashiers at most of those stores (at least the ones that I’ve been back to).
I quite going to Walgreens too!!! I only keep an eye out there for diaper deals. Nothing else is worth the treatmetn from those cashiers at my Walgreens!!! Anybody seen any good diaper deals ANYWHERE??

WHY NO ONE SHOWING USING BUYONE GET ONE CRYSTAL LIGHT COUPON IN A DEAL?
I have to say I love Walgreens! Went there this morning and got: 4 speedstick deoderants, 6 Arizona ice tea drinks, 2 boxes bandaides, first aide kit, 2 candy bars, and a lighter for $1.06 using coupons and a $10RR. They did not have the Roc set that was advertised for the RR and only 1 first aide kit in stock.
In Panama City, Fl the Depends are not in our ad….now I have nothing to roll all of those wonderful RR’s I scored last week into. Are they not for sale for anyone else?
The depends are a bonus buy that you only see online. I was going crazy flipping through the ad this morning then pulled up three online version and there it was. Got sale price and RR.

I went to my Wags this a.m. and bought 5 boxes of Belvitas for a total of $15. I then used 5 x $1 off coupons and my $5 RR didn’t print out. 🙁 Did anyone else have this problem? The manager told me that some manufacturers require the $15 minimum to be AFTER coupons and some allow the minimum to be before coupons. I’ve never had this happen before. Ended up having to return them. 🙁

I had the same problem too today. I bought 4 belvita and the 2 crystal light’s, and it didn’t print mine either…the cashier and I got the manager involved and the manager tried to tell me that I used the wrong coupons, or either the wrong products…so I politely told him that I did not…. and had him re-ring the products and coupons himself. He then said he didn’t know why it didn’t print and asked me for my name and phone number and he would clear it up for me, then I asked “do you mean to tell me I have to drive all the way back here” and he said he would do what he could. By the time I got home I received his call and told me that my $5 dollar reward and additional $3 reward for my trouble were gonna be waiting for me at the register the next time I came in to shop….. Whenever I have a problem I just ask for a manager

it was at my store. the crystal light did not ring up right. they rang up at 3.99 each. then to add insult to injury – it wasn’t counting them towards the 5 RR. I noticed it in the car and went back in. She credited me with 2 bucks for each crystal light and then scanned the planters enough to give me a RR and then voided it. Very nice, I am pleased she took the time to make it right and was polite the whole time. I did not use the coupon book for the wg prilosec as it is clearly for a new kind that has calcium carbonate in it like Zegerid. if it works for you great, but the coupon clearly shows the new product which it says will be in stores on may 4th.

At my store they told me the mocktails were not included in the 2/$4 sale, so that’s why they rang up at $3.99. I showed him the ad and it didn’t specify, but he just kept telling me that the “new ones” are not included (even thought they only had the mocktail flavors that have been out for a while he kept saying they are new). They only had 1 non-mocktail crystal light left too. I chose not to fight this battle because I had already had the manager come over twice for other items that didn’t ring up right and the line behind me was getting very long. It’s disappointing because last week I had a really good experience at Wags (for the first time EVER) and I was starting to change how I think of them – NOT ANYMORE. I will again try to avoid going there altogether… it’s not worth the frustration.
I’m going to avoid going back to Wags too. Just not worth the hassle. I haven’t been back even to get my $20 gift card the manager is giving me for the problems I had. All I really wanted was the the $5 RR for the Belvita deal not a free 20 bucks. From the conversation I had with this manager he is very stubborn and is not reading the policy correctly even after I told him of all the issues the stores were having. Going there lately was never just a quick trip!!
We had this problem at our store tonight. We have an awesome manager at our store and he told us that all stores should have received an e-mail late Saturday night stating that they were having computer issues and for the store to e-mail back some info so they could get the problem fixed for each store as soon as possible. He also said that he heard it was up on couponing websites, so I’m just letting everyone know 🙂 It’s sad that the managers feel like they have to lie and say that things aren’t working because of our coupons instead of just telling us the truth. Maybe try informing your managers of the e-mail they should have received and that will help clear things up. The store did have to reply to the e-mail to gets things fixed for their individual store, at least according to our manager. HTH! 🙂
Wow…I wish the manager at store I just went to was aware of this because I just returned the 5 Belvita I got when the RR didnt print and I was told it was because I used coupons.
I had the same trouble but the manager at my store made it work for me. I purchased two Belvita’s, two crystal lights, and two Crackerfuls. Total was 15.15 before coupons. The cashier said it was because I used the coupons but the manager rang them up both ways and neither worked. Apparently it is the Crystal light that is causing the trouble. There is a cross in manufacturers with this deal and this creates a computer clitch. The manager rang up six boxes of the Belvita crackers and it gave me the $5 reward. I am thankful to have a store manager that honors the sales and works with customers.
I was told this previously at Wags, that RRs won’t print if I use coupons on the items. I explained to the cashier that RRs can’t be used to PAY for something that I have a mq for, but I can use coupons on items to GET the RRs. (Sad that I have to explain their coupon policy to them lol).

so wags changed the policy when you have the bogo half and are using the monthly coupon book. they take the half off of the price after the monthly coupon book coupon is used so you font get as good of a deal . this has happened a few times and I just realized what was going on.
that was a little confusing what I said so the revelon tweezer deal they enc up being like .99 instead of .49 for two cause they take the half off after the wags coupon was first applied. I am assuming this is everywhere. they told me it changed at the new year. I remember I had problems with that coq10 vitamen deal a while back

I had an issue with the J & J products. Ad states it includes gauze pads. I tried to buy 2 10 count for $2.49. It would not ring up bogo 50% off so the cashier said she can not force the discount. She kept telling me that I have to go by the pic in the flyer, the 25 count gauze only. Also she said I couldn’t get the free first aid kit b/c the second item would be below $2.00, which it does state in the ad items have to be over $2.00. But is this before or after the discount?? Very confusing!!

Has anyone else had their store tell them the Colgate Spin toothbrushes had been recalled? I tried to buy one tonight and the register beeped and said they they couldn’t sell it. I thought it was weird that it was the first day of the sale and there was only one left on the shelf and no stickers up, but I hadn’t heard about a recall.
I tried to buy 2 at CVS yesterday (there was only 3 on the shelf) and they also beeped at the register. The cashier said that he couldn’t sell them to me because it usually means there’s been a recall on them. I went to a different CVS and bought 2 of the Spongebob Colgate toothbrushes without a problem.

I am new to the couponing world. I was curious about the bogo pantene product coupon that was in the 03/29 RP. If walgreens is doing a bogo 50% off can I buy 2 pantene products, use the coupon, and only end up paying for 50% of one of the items? You can use the bogo coupons if the stores are doing bogo offers and get both items for free but, is there any way to do it if the store is doing a bogo 50% off deal?
I went to walgreens last night and purchased 15.79 of of the nabisco promotion buy 15 and get 5RR. I used $3.50 in manufacturers coupons + 10RR from last week and my 5RR didn’t print. When i called customer service the lady told me that if i used a RR in the purchase it would not trigger the RR and that this is stated in the back of the RR’s. Is this true?
No, that’s not true. I have a comment above about it, but Walgreens got an e-mail stating that they know the Rr isn’t printing and the store was suppose to reply to get it fixed for their individual store. It definitely was not you! HTH 🙂
Thank you, Nicole, both your comments helped a lot! I did 4 belVitas and a Maxwell House instant coffee and my RR didn’t print last night either. (This was after the register completely shut down and they had to restart and rescan everything). The mgr rescanned the instant coffee and voided to get the RR to print after I asked about it and showed him the ad, but he blamed it on all my coupons as well!
No problem! Our manager is new, and we learned to make friends and show them that not all people who use coupons are trying to do things the wrong way and have bad attitudes. Not that that’s my opinion, but one bad apple ruins the bunch and people only remember the bad experiences. So, I think because we are honest and told him up front that we are just trying to save a few dollars and not clear the whole store our he has a lot of respect for what we do and therefore actually tells us the truth. Or at least that’s what I’d like to believe. Maybe it’s just that he’s new and doesn’t know any better. I’ve learned that standing your ground when you know you’re not doing anything wrong and being respectful will almost always get you somewhere when dealing with rude store managers. I hope they get this problem fixed soon, I LOVE Belvita cookies and can’t wait to get some more!

Wow, never again to Walgreens. I was nice, asked to be sure multiple transactions wouldn’t be a problem (it was my first time there) and the attitude of the cashier and manager both made me feel unwanted and unwelcome. I bought four of the U by Kotex and only recieved 2 $3.00 RR back but by the time I realized it I was too flustered to even try to ask for them. Never. Ever. Again.
Was the Pepsi Next for $.99 in the ad? I went and it was 2/$3. Maybe this price was regional?

Anyone else having problems printing 2 of the Lean Cuisine coupons? I got 1 to print out, but when I tried to print again it said “promotion is over”.
I called Walgreens corporate about the Pantene and the store manager called me back to say that giving more than the 50% off price would be coupon fraud. I have always been able to use b1g1 coupons w/b1g1 50% off sale and get 2 items for the 50% off price, but apparently not any more 🙁

Ok… but I went to my local store today and the manager said, “Of course you would get the full price off on the coupon.” I bought 8 Pantene’s using the B1G1 coupon and the Walgreens B1G1 50% sale … since Walgreen’s corporate never actually called me back, it looks like it is going by each manager’s discretion. I know which store I will be shopping at!
