My Husband loved the Spectracide I bought from Target using their $3 off coupon. He said it worked well. I was happy to have only paid $0.99 for it.
Can this be used at target too?
Went to Walmart today to use these coupons and others. The cashier said I could only use 1 coupon per order. I got out their coupon policy to show it was ok to use them. She said it “Wasn’t her job to read the coupon policy” & was only doing what her manager said. I told her to get the manager & she said “Fine if you want to hold up 100 people in line”. I asked for my coupons back & told her to keep the stuff. I left their coupon policy with her & told her to read it so she could educate herself & her manager. I then bought everything at Target & Meijer & had a much better experience.
Actually, YOU would not be holding up the line. The cashier and her ignorance would be holding up the line. She was trying to make you feel guilty and get rid of you. Unfortunately, she won since you left. I would have stayed and not felt bad at all. Maybe you were pressed for time???? You now spent more time having to go to Target and Meijer to score this deal. Are the prices the same there for Spectracide?
I was going to go to Meijer anyway to use my Earthbound organics coupons. ($.25 green onions & free Nesquick!) I usually shop at a different Walmart where I rarely have problems with coupon usage, but it’s on the other side of the county(Richland county, Ohio) with no other stores by it. The Spectracide was more at Target but the Suave body wash was less than Walmart. I don’t really care because I needed the weed killer. I had all the time in the world but I didn’t want to deal with her. I used to work at that Walmart & hardly shopped there even then. I don’t think anyone “won” except maybe Target & Meijer.
unfortunately some cashiers are like that. you had every right to use those coupons. i was at rite aid today and the cashier (who was also the assistant manager) was reading the fine print on every one of my coupons (i had a lot :)). he wouldn’t let me use one of my video value coupon on kotex liners even though I was allowed to . i decided that it wasn’t worth it to argue with him so i just let it go.
Question, if 6 cost me $5.28 does that mean I will only get $5.28 or do they give a flat $6.00 since it was $17.28 before the coupons were applied?
Technically, this rebate says cannot be combined with other offers, so you can’t use the coupons. I confirmed this with their CS on Facebook.
Just wondering how they know if you used coupons or not? Especially if you buy other items and use other coupons as well…Not wanting to be dishonest, just curious.

That’s ridiculous! I’m not spending $17.28 to get back $6.00. I’d be better off buying it with just the coupons and paying $5.28 for 4 cans.
Oops, I Miscalculated, 4 cans would be $3.52 after the coupons or $11.52 without and then the $6 rebate so that would be like paying $5.52 for 4 cans. I’m still better off not dealing with the rebate. Seems like mine are always rejected FIRST until I get on the phone with them and complain! Sometimes it’s not worth the hassle plus it takes 6-8 weeks and they’re hoping I forget about it.
I used the coupons and I received my rebate. And you (and spectracide) can tell when they scan that the bar code matches the product code on the receipt.
