That’s the way to do it! I like reading the publication, but I refuse to pay them another dime. Several years ago my husband signed up for a month long subscription to the online version while we were researching buying a new car. We discovered to our dismay that Consumer Reports was continuing to charge our credit card for it for over 2 years. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch the charges until too late because we weren’t paying close enough attention to the charges. (Lesson learned there as well!)
