Yay! For a limited time, Pinecone Research is once again looking for new men and women panelists! If you are interested in earning a little extra spending money, you’ll definitely want to head on over and apply to become a Pinecone Research panelist! To get started, go here and answer a brief questionnaire to see if you meet the current recruitment needs. If you qualify, you’ll be redirected to the sign up page where you will need to fill out the form with your information so that you can start receiving survey opportunities.

As I have said many times before, I personally believe that Pinecone Research is one of the BEST survey companies out there! You’ll get paid $3 for every survey you complete, which is a lot higher than most survey companies, and they are very prompt in their payment (you’ll even have the option of getting paid by Paypal, via check, or via a debit card!). Plus, you’ll be entered into their bi-weekly Sweepstakes to win cash prizes! Seriously, you can’t go wrong signing up for this survey company.

Check out what a couple readers had to say about Pinecone Research:

If you can get in with Pinecone, they are an awesome survey company. I often get good sized trial products in the mail to try and keep, and you get a debit card that they load with your payment about 2-4 days after taking each survey. This is just about the only survey company I do anymore.

I’m a member of Pinecone, and I have to say that I love this research company, they are very quick mailing out their checks for a completed survey. Also their surveys are very short and interesting!

I have been with Pinecone for about a year and a half. It is my favorite survey site. Once you get a survey you know you already are qualified for it. You don’t get kicked out mid survey. I get my payments put directly into a paypal account. Payment is deposited in a day or two. I have only been chosen to try three products so far.

I was able to sign up with Pinecone the last time Collin posted that they were accepting new panel members and I absolutely LOVE this company! With other survey companies, it has taken me numerous surveys to even gain enough “points” to get a $5 gift card. My husband knows I do these and was incredibly impressed that I’ve got quite a few $3 checks just in the month or so of signing up. I love having that extra little cash! It adds up after a while!

*Keep in mind that these spots tend to fill up fast, so if you’re interested or know of someone who might be interested, better hurry on over here and apply before the spots fill up!

I’ve been with Pinecone for awhile. It’s a great company. You don’t get rich, but the $3 a survey adds up. 🙂

    • Alan

I like Pinecone a lot but to make some decent money you need to join more survey panels. I make around $500 each month and I am a member only on 4 sites. I don’t know about you but this is pretty good in my opinion for 30 minutes at the computer per day.

You can see a list of top paying survey sites @ https://www.OkaySurveys.com

  2. Nicole

LOVE PINECONE! It’s easy & you get real checks

  3. Rhonda

I love Pinecone Research! I have the debit card, and you can use it anywhere. And you are right, you are pre-qualified for each survey, so you don’t have to go through 100 questions and then get “Sorry, you don’t qualify” (so aggravating). Pinecone Research is probably the best company out there in my opinion.
Good luck to all who apply!

    • mindy

me too i have a debit card from them but i use mostly to buy online “super good” deals Colin posted.

  4. angelahoang12

Agree with the above. I get maybe one survey every 2 weeks. Sometimes more. Get my payment quickly.

  5. Renee

I love Pinecone too. $3 per check may not seem like a lot but for me it’s a blessing. Every check goes into a savings account for my boys.

    • Jen

What a great idea! I think I may do that too. Thanks:)

  6. Stephanie

I love Pinecone Research! I signed up in March, have received 6 or 7 $3 checks, plus 3 generous full-sized products to try! It’s awesome! I love that I get to try new products before they’re for sale, and that I have the chance to input my thoughts to make the products better for the ones who ultimately purchase it!

  7. Crystal

Did not get again…again. I have been trying for 2 years!

  8. Julie

I got in but they would not let me sign up because I live in Alaska… 🙁

  9. Megan

So I might have actually qualified that time!? I’m not sure…I filled out the extended survey, the one where they send the ID/password combo via email. Does that mean they accepted me?

    • Glenda

Yes Megan you were accepted! 🙂

      • Meredith

yeah! The same thing happened to me and I wasn’t quite sure if I was accepted either.

  10. debra

OMG, since I moved last year I can no longer get into pinecone. Emailed them and they said until they have openings in my area (Cape Cod, MA) they were sorry. DO NOT let your pinecone surveys go unaswered or you will be removed and maybe never get back in. (I have been trying to get back in for 7 months with no luck)

    • Chastidy

Keep trying!! I had the same thing happen to me. We moved to another state last year and because I was so busy with the move, they stopped sending me surveys. But I FINALLY qualified today!!! 11 months later 🙂

    • joycelyn

      hi debra,
i see you that you live on the cape nice to see someone here that’s from the cape welcome..

  11. abby c

how do you know if you get in or not?

  12. Kristie

I just sent my info over. The print says they will contact.

  13. Jean

First time I’ve registered, but your glowing review sold me. I hope I was accepted!

  14. melissa

Got in! (I am in the midwest just fyi)

  15. Haseena

I’ve been a member for over two years and I get about four or more surveys a month and let me tell you its an easy $3.00 you can make per survey, and occasionally I get to try products for free 🙂 . They pay me through pay pal and its great to have that money there when I order extra coupons from ebay, or just let it accumulate and use it on something at the end of the year. I just recently ordered some clothes for my baby from The Children’s Place and Ink from ebay to print all my coupons using that money and it felt like I got it all for free 🙂 Give it a try, it will be worth your while.

    • jamie

HAHA, That is what I do too with the money from them. I call it my coupon money. I put it in an account I use just to order extra coupons. I do not get mine from ebay though. I use a coupon clipping site I found recently and really like.

      • Ashley57

What is the service? I use Ebay now, but think something else may be better

      • Haseena

What is the name of this coupon clipping site? I looked into many clipping sites, but never came across one that seemed worth ordering from. You always seem to have to order for an ‘x” amount of money before they will process your order and most weeks I only need 1 set of coupons which I can find on ebay for a lot less.

  16. Ashley57

YAY! I got in! I have been trying for 8 months. So excited 🙂

  17. Babita Hinduja

Okay, I filled out the long survey. Now what?

  18. Stacy

I just got in too! So excited as I’ve been trying for over a year, usually it seems they want 18-24 but I’m in the 35-44 age group in the Midwest. They sent me an email right away with additional questions to complete.

  19. Danielle

Love pinecone research! Payments go directly into Paypal and then I can use them to help pay for books.

  20. shelley

I FINALLY got in after several years of trying! BUT, I’m not sure if they didn’t like the fact that I refused my work # & email addy because right after that I got the “that’s all the questions we have for you now” message. :[ Not sure if that means I’m out or what?!?!

    • Stacy

I did that too but am hoping it doesn’t matter.

  21. kahila t

I have been trying to get in forever, and no luck… maybe my household size is too big lol

  22. Sunny

I got in! WOOHOO! I’ve been trying for awhile now… I used to belong, years and years ago under a different address and loved those checks. Stop me if I’m wrong, but didn’t they used to be for $5, not $3? $3 is still good as its better than most survey companies out there. Thanks for posting this!

  23. jamie

This is my favorite survey site. They do not send surveys as often as other sites, but when I see a survey in my email inbox, I get excited. As others said, u are qualified automatically and they pay quickly. I use paypal to receive my payments. They send products to try and u get paid to try them too. I have a product now I am trying from them.

  24. Tat

Wow, reading these comments tells me I’m lucky to get as far as “check your email”. Fingers crossed.

  25. sne3103

    i think I was finally accepted… yayy!

  26. Sarah

Well, went the whole way though with filling out info, getting an email, then filling out a lot more info about myself. Sounds like I made it! Can’t wait to give it a try.

  27. Tiffany7

Yay! I finally got in this time! 🙂 Thanks, Collin!!

  28. gabby

I am new to Pinecone, got it last time Collin post it about but have not received one survey to fill out! 🙁

  29. Shanna

    I got in!

  30. Michelle

Love Pinecone Research. Did it in the past.

  31. mom2five

didn’t get in again…been trying for years

  32. wendy

I made $60 last year with pinecone. The $3 adds up!

  33. Meg

    FINALLY GOT IN!! 🙂

  34. Fay

I got it but they want to know every single thing about me, my spouse, including what company HE works at and also my kids b’day’s. I can understand a general age range but that was not sufficient. That is way too much info that they get about me for some stupid surveys. You are basically selling them YOUR information if you go through these guys.

    • campanita

That is what I thought too, they were asking for too much information about my kids, I don’t mind giving information about me and my husband. I think they accepted me but I decided not to finish the questionnaire. Does any body know why do they ask so many questions and if this company is safe? Is it worth it? Any advice would be welcome.

      • Allison

They ask for information on your kids because they test kids’ products and need to know if you qualify. Companies sometimes want to understand very specific populations, like moms of kids ages 0-4. If you have older kids they can even be asked to participate in the surveys themselves for certain products.

  35. Amy

Too bad that they only use your RACE, AGE, and EDUCATION level to see if you qualify. Sounds like a biased company if you ask me. As usual, I don’t qualify.

  36. Phoebe

It seems they are looking for Hispanics right now

  37. Allison

They ask you to provide so much information upfront so they can prescreen you for future surveys…it’s actually a good thing since it means each time you get a survey you’re already qualified. It’s fascinating for me to read comments from a panelist’s perspective since I work on the other end in market research. Too bad this means I never get to participate on any of these panels. 🙂

  38. Amy

Love pinecone research! I got a check in the mail from them just the other day. I’ve also gotten to sample different items. It’s awesome! My husband loves it when he sees mail from them cuz he knows its a check! lol

  39. Shannon

Does anyone know more reliable survey paying websites to use??

  40. Alice

I just got accepted! If it helps, my demographic – I’m a 23yo Asian female college grad with a cat and boyfriend. 🙂 Looking forward to extra money to put in our “jar” of travel savings!

  41. Naomi

I was contacted from pinecone research after following the link provided in this posting. I just received an email informing me of my first offer…

To carry out a Secret Survey on the nearest Western Union outlet in your location by forwarding a fixed amount {$970.00} to a “Mystery Consumer” in another region who’s conducting the same survey at the “Recipient” end. The recipient’s information will be provided in subsequent communication.

A check for $1210.00 has been issued and should get delivered to you via regular mail within the next 1-4 business days.
    Cash the check.

Your income is $150.00 for the survey.

You’re to deduct another $90.00 to cover the transfer charges (Money in Minutes) at the Western Union outlet.

…sounds fishy. Has anyone else had this type of assignment?

    • Jackie

I got this email, too, and I am wondering the same thing. Anyone know if this is legit? I don’t think I ever did a survey online with them for $3, so this is kind of out of the blue…

    • Babbs

This is definitely a scam. I got the same email. If you go on PineCone Research website and click on their Important Security Notice link, you will see that the email you received is a scam and PineCone Research gives you two website addresses that you can report this fraudulent activity to the Federal Trade Commission in the United States and Canadian Anti-fraud Centre in Canada.

I hope everyone reports this and these people get prosecuted!

  42. Liz Phantom

Pinecone will NEVER ask you to do secret-shopper type stuff
