Anyone know how much a gallin normally goes for. Just wondering if the price would be better than the paint I buy at Lowes oe Home Depot

Nobody buys Benjamin Moore because of the price — even with a coupon. Benjamin Moore paint is more expensive than big box store paint, but it’s also some of the best paint you can buy. It’s a product people are loyal too because of the quality, even though it’s very expensive. They do have a range of prices (BEN is their entry level; Aura is their top level). At the top the Aura for over $50/gallon, and I think the mid-grade Regal is around $35. I don’t know what entry-level BEN costs.

My interior is in the middle of being painted with BM’s eco-friendly Natura paint right now, and it’s nearly odor free (even with tinting, and there’s no other brand that can do that). It’s a truly zero-volatile-organic-compound (VOC) paint, even with intense colors (other brands have a zero-VOC base, but then they add VOCs back in by tinting it with the same machine used for all their other lines of paint). Their colors are fantastic, and professional decorators frequently specify BM colors. In fact, it was an interior designer who turned me onto BM. Having had interiors painted with BM paint and with Behr, we’ll stick with BM. It’s more money, but the few extra dollars over the life of a paint job is totally worth it to me. Their paint is also thicker than the big box store paint, so you may need less.

“Big Box Store” refers to places like Home Depot or Lowes.
