i work at CVS and i love the deals on here i got the Gillette razor that was ringing up 9.99 for my husband for fathers day he loves it plus i saved up my extra bucks and last week the summer dresses were on sale for 9.99 i had 9.00 in extra bucks so i got a new dress for .99
All these coupons printed for me yesterday. 🙂 I used the *$2/1 Shampoo, Conditioner, or Styling Aid (Excludes Pro Salon) coupon and the *$3/$10 Cosmetics purchase
with the Extrabucks deal for the Origanix Shampoo/Conditioner. The Tea tree mint is on clearance at my CVS and it produced the extrabuck :). With the $5 extrabuck I got back I got both the Shampoo and Conditioner for FREE.
So the $3/$10 Cosmetics can be used on shampoo/conditioner ?
That would not fly at my store.
All coupons have to be used on what is stated and all requirements must be met and yes there are still tons of times you can get stuff pretty much for free after EB. Furthermore though at the bottom of all CVS sale signs it states “excludes clearance items”. The clearance eye shadows mentioned above would have not been honored for the BOGO 50% off price on top of the clearance value. Not sure what fool cashier would take the heat for modifying those for this person.

i love my CVS. i love scoring great deals here. never had a problem using my coupons and the cashiers are so nice and courteous.
I got full size Fructis shampoo for .33!! Had $2 off any shampoo coupon and $1 off Fructis. Yeah! Then had $2 off any 2 Axe, Dove or Degree deodorant. It didn’t exclude travel sizes so I got 2 small ones for .71. It was a better use of the coupon than buying full size ones!
I realize this has nothing to do with this post, but has anyone recieved a code for free book from shutterfky that they are not going to use? I know sometimes shipping kills the deal. However, I”m putting one together from my daughter’s first year and would love a code. Thanks.

The cover girl deal won’t work that way. BOGO50% sale doen’t apply to clearance prices I think.
I am thinking the same thing. A while back, Sally Hansen was bogo and I bought 2 clearance polishes and they din’t ring up BOGO. I *could* have made a stink about it (since the ad said “any”) but after q’s, I didn’t pay much, so it wasn’t that big a deal, esp since I get so many great deals from CVS anyway!

At one of my cvs, I have never ever used a coupon! The shelves are cleared out…always! And one time I went and they had the stuff I wanted but the magic coupon machine was broken ad the manager said she didn’t feel like fixing it that I’d have I come back later! Then at my other Cvs, the manager was so nice! He showed me how to use coupons at a self checkout! I like it better cuz I don’t hold up the other line!

Yep! You hit finish and pay and then click coupons an scan! (and extra bucks) it is really awesome..they just got them!

Can you scan ANY coupons at the self-checkout? I have tried so many times and there’s always at least one coupon that won’t scan. The ones with the double barcodes never scan, and they told me that I can’t use those at self-checkout. There is always only one register open and 4 self-checkouts, so it’s irritating to have to go in the register line. Especially since the cashier always has to leave the register to help people at self-checkout! The register line is always long because you can’t buy alcohol at self-checkout, and almost EVERYONE is there buying alcohol LOL!
ha! Well I’ve never had a problem with anything except one coupon because it was for a free item so the manager keyed it in..but I’m sure there’s some that won’t work..if have a lot I do use the regular one in case of problems!:)

i asked this on a deal with another cvs thing on here andi asked how this works,i dont get it,i had signed up for an account and i can sign in and everything but i dont have a card,was i supposed to get one in the mail or do i have to go to the store,and also i have a whole bunch of pantene coupons i got from meijer,they were catalinas but print off as manufacturer coupons,$2 off one shampoo or styler,so only 49 cents,will they allow those coupons?
when did you register? I got my card within maybe a week after I signed up. You could always go to the store and ask for a card, then register that number to your online acct.
NO, cvs does not take catalina coupons. it says in the FAQ they don’t accept manuf coupons with other store logos on them.
Did anyone get the $3 dollars off any nexxus? I got it yesterday but it didn’t exclude trial. I uses It on a 2.99 travel hairspray.
YES! I got the $3/1 nexxus with no size restrictions last week & used it on the trial sz bottle of nexxus shampoo…only 19¢ after q! But yesterday I got the $3 nexxus that ets 🙁

i got one but it did not include trial size and anything under $5 had ts on the sign, so i didnt even try and probably wont use it.
I just got back from CVS. My total before promotions and coupons was over $50 and after it was $21.35 including tax, so I am pleased. I really liked the $5 off $20 that printed at the coupon machine today.
*In case people don’t know you can keep swiping your card and more coupons sometimes come out. Today I swiped my card 3 times total and got around 8 coupons total. It will tell you when there are no more coupons.* I think I learned that trick on this site, so I just wanted to tell others.

I got the shampoo coupon and there was some Suave on clearance, so I scored it for 8 cents (just tax!)

no, it doesn’t adj down, unless the cashier catches that it gives overage and manually fixes it. I’ve personally not had that happen, but I’ve read a few times on here about cashiers adj store coupons to not allow the overage.
The Suave was actually $1.99 @ my store. Free is still good though!
If I received a $3/$10 any cosmetics and a $3/$10 any covergirl, does my total have to be $20 for me to use both or can I buy $10 worth of covergirl cosmetics and use both coupons?

For thr $2 shampoo coupon I got thr 22.5 fl oznfor $1.99 isntead of the smaller bottle for $1.77 .paid $0.12 tax
I keep on seeing on a full cup that the pantene is a part of the gas deal ( that us eventually a mm supposedly) . Is this regional or a unadvertised deal?

I have so many of the $2 shampoo, cond or styling. they keep printing the same coupons everyday haha. now my question is – all VO5 hair products are $.79 at my store, can I use one of the $2 off coupon for every bottle I purchase as long as my total purchase cost doesn’t end up being overage? the coupons don’t have a minimum purchase price to use them and they also say the coupon is taken off the TOTAL of the purchase that includes the item.
My understanding is you can use a coupon for each bottle of shampoo, just make sure you have other items in your order so you don’t have overage. I bought a travel pantene for 1.49 (with other items) and used the $2 coupon and it took off the whole $2.

I did the 30.00 off PG products last week and my total towards earning 10 ECB was $1.00 short 🙁 I couldn’t get back to the store before Sunday. What happens to those purchase amounts? Will they be used towards a later promotion? Or will I have to start all over?

Today 6/26 the Preservision Areds was on clearance for $5.24 (normally $20.99). I think they are clearing out the ones with old package design. I had a CVS coupon obtained earlier in June from machine (exp 7/1) for $5 off. So I paid $.24 plus tax. I went back and bought a 2nd box and used 30% off CVS coupon (obtained at register when I bought 1st box) and $2 manufacturers coupon (always found inside box or call 800 phone number to get in mail) and paid $1.66 plus tax.

It’s for the skin care items and they are BOGO free this week! I got the $15 off coupon and also $4 off skin care from the machine, bought 2 $19.99 items, got one free, used the 2 coupons, and ended up paying 99 cents for $40 worth of PF skin care! This purchase also is $19.99 toward the gas card!

Or you can wait and use it next week when the PF skincare is going to be $7.99 and qualifies for the gas card deal. You’d pay $0.98 for 2 but have $15.98 towards a gas card (more than halfway there).

I got another $3/$10 when I stopped in yesterday to scan my card, and thought about doing the L’oreal deal, then I remembered Physcian’s Formula is going to be on sale next week and count towards the Gas Card deal, so I’m saving it for then.
This would not work with the cover girl because clearance items do not qualify for the buy one get one half off. Clearance items in general never count towards any of the weekly sale items.
