I did the Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration deal at my Wags, it was not B1G1 though 🙁 but I was able to use the mobile coupon and the Wags store coupon but I only had $1 off MQ’s

I was not able to use both coupons from the booklet, as each coupon states that it is for 2.00/2 items, and my cashier would not let me use it, nor the mobile app; I was told to next time call the store before coming out as each store decides before hand which coupons, in its booklets, it will use. It was an okay deal, but not stellar.

I can’t figure out how to use the mobile app. I have never downloaded one to my android before. I tried for over 30 minutes by phone and by computer with no luck. Once I signed in on the computer I never found the app. I am just not computer literate I guess.

I did this deal and they took all my coupons. but to get the mobile coupon you have to download the walgreens mobile app. just go into the app store and type in walgreens mobile app and it was the first app for me. then when its downloaded click on coupons, view coupons, and there will be like 6 mobile coupons to choose from. and they can scan the barcode right off your phone. the cashier never did it before but when she scanned it, she had no problem.

i can not find that skin care booklet for the life of me

    • Patty

I had to ask the cashier at the cosmetics counter and she had some

ohh.. I need sunscreen for our beach trip next weekend. I just purged a bunch of bottles b/c I totally overbought last year :/oops:/ I’ll have to try tomorrow at the good wags since I’ll be in that part of town. The wags by my house has grumpy cashiers and I know they wouldn’t even try to use the skin care booklet coupon with the mobile coupon.

  4. jenn

Ivory was $1.99 at my store

    • Carmella

My walgreens had a price that said 1.99 next to the soap, but it rang up for 0.99

  5. Lori

How many comments can I use on the sunscreen?

  6. lisa

The silk hydrations, 6 oz, were also NOT part of the BOGO at my store. 🙁

    • Danielle Huberty

there was no sign next to the one at mine, but i grabbed them anyway and when I went to the check out the girl said she cant do it, so she got the manager and they had to honor the BOBO because it had in their ad and didnt specify which one except the 6oz whcih the silk hydrations were. 🙂

I haven’t shopped at Wags in a long time, but I have a few $3 mn coup for this product from the silk hydration razors I got. I am confused though. You can use 2 man q, 2 Wags q and only one mobile q? Also, is there any way to get the mobile q if I don’t have an iphone, blackberry, or android?

  9. VB

The mobile cpn will only take off for the one you purchased not the free one. In fact the register doesn’t want to take a MQ on the free on either. Their new registers tie the cpns to the items. And i have a few stores that are confused by their own policy. Their bogo free policy states that you can use cpn on the free item as long as there is no overage on the net price which seems pretty clear to me but they always point out the paragraph stating that you can not have overage one an item. Trust me you go around in circles with that one. It is best to do bogo free deals at stores with the old registers.

  10. Tina

Sunscreen was not bogo @ my store. 🙁

Love the deal on the sunscreen, but finding fillers for using so many coupons will be a nightmare. Any suggestions?? It seems I spend way too much time looking for fillers in Walgreens and I hate getting useless things like candy etc which is way overpriced for fillers.

    • marlene

japanesse peanuts are only 33¢ great for a snack

      • ozi

Walgreens brand single kleened is 29¢ at my store

        • mel

for this particular deal, you don’t need fillers. Walgreens coupons don’t count towards the manuf coupon to item ratio. It’s only when you have a RR, -then- you’d need a filler to attach. That’s why its listed like it is above, with no fillers.

AFA fillers, I look in the ad for items .50 & under.. stuff that I need that I would probably buy anyway. Like tomato sauce, soup, jello, peroxide, nuts, school supplies (index cards, sharpies are usually .39 w/in ad cpn). Pencils are pretty cheap too.. I try to avoid candy, unless its the holidays for the kids stockings & baskets.

  12. Shirl

Our Walgreens will not take a MQ on the free items. They have the new registers and it’s such a hassle. I avoid b1g1 if I have 2 MQ that I want to use. Good Luck everyone on this deal.

  13. Suzanne

This is word for word copied from Wags coupon policy:
When items are featured in a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net price does not
go below zero for the items being purchased.

    • mel

yeah, but with their new registers, the 2nd item comes up as 0.00, and if you try to use 2 cents off coupons, the 2nd coupon will beep as exceeds value or something like that. I tried to use 2 .50/1 Blue Diamond Almond coupons when they were BOGO a few weeks ago and the register wouldn’t take it and the cashier had no idea how to manually enter it in. It was really frustrating even though I had the coupon policy printed out.

  14. Samantha

I try to stay away from my local Walgreens…sometimes there is a deal too good to pass up, but I have problems everytime I go in there. And it seems like it’s always the same old mean cashier. LOL I price match to Walmart if I can because believe it or not, my Walmart is usually pretty coupon friendly. 🙂

    • Kara's Deals and Steals

I always have problems when I shop in Walgreens, hence why I don’t much. I prefer CVS.

  15. Emilytwinmom

I had issues but the mgr helped me, I wanted the free bar soap to put in my Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes! Thanks for the heads up 🙂 This is my first time at a Wags this year btw, because every single time I enter one I have issues even without coupons. Things ring up at the wrong price, etc.

  16. amber

Sounds to me like its still a good idea to stay away from Walgreens, except for getting free pictures! 🙂

    • Lisa

Depends on the store! I have two near me, one is HORRIBLE and has mean cashiers. The other we go to every week and always have the same cashier. A wonderful older woman who always takes her time to make sure all our coupons work. The managers there are awesome too. Nobody has ever told me my coupon won’t work unless I missed that it had expired or something. Don’t rule out all Walgreens stores!

  17. Brittany

I too always have problems at walgreens!

  18. Starla

This type of Hawaiian Tropic was bot BOGO at my store either.
